Hey guys! We put our backs into it and solved the ball freezing issue (hopefully for good this time!). We also turned on the D-Pad inversion by default on Linux (though the menu option's still there). Finally, we updated the leaderboards framework - it should be back online for everyone now. Thank you for your feedback!

This update brings a couple of fixes for the issues you've reported.

• The ball won't freeze anymore if you hit pause just before winning/breaking
• We sorted out a memory leak that could affect performance after some time
• We added the option to invert the D-Pad vertical axis (useful for PS4 controllers in some setups)
• We tweaked a number of levels to improve visibility and/or make them easier to understand

We worked hard at it, and it is finally ready. The Little Ball That Could, our darling marble platformer, is now available for Mac and Linux! Now, all of you waiting for some quality roll-the-ball action set in colorful, maze-like levels filled to the brim with traps and puzzles will be able to get your fix, regardless of the OS you prefer. Leaderboards work cross-platform, and so do the cloud saves, so you can switch between operating systems and keep your progress. Howdy folks, Here's another update for TLBTC fixing some minor issues we've noticed: Fixed the story intro scene problems that appeared on some systems Fixed issues with the pause menu (level name not showing, not being able to resume using the B button on the controller) Fixed the issue making the setting menu getting stuck while switching between tabs And now, as promised in the title, here's the big news - in the coming days, we'll be making TLBTC available for Linux and Mac systems! These versions will retain all the functionality of the Windows version (including Xbox controller support), and the leaderboards will remain unified across these platforms. • Sorted out minor issues in several levels that would cause you to get trapped.
• Fixed the issue with returning control to the player when returning to the menu.
• Fixed the translation not being loaded in some levels.
• Tweaked the way level times are reported to the leaderboards.

The demo offers a selection of five levels from the full game, each coming from one of the games worlds. We wanted to showcase each task type in TLBTC, so we picked three random levels and made short videos of us playing through them. We're pretty happy with them, as they encapsulate perfectly what it feels like to go for that flawless speed run, find that dastardly hidden puzzle piece, or give it your best and get all the puzzle pieces.
