Lethal Lawns is 33% off (~$5 bucks) for the Aussie Steam Sale, probably because we're Australian. This is a great time to get your mates who don't own Lethal Lawns onboard so you can shred them online, or co-op play against the Ai together
You can check out other sweet Aussie Steam Sale games in the sale, including our other party game, Blockpocalypse (35% off)
Cheers - Dan

Happy Holidays mowers!!
We've launched the v1.2.01 update, which adds the ability to set up a game as a team match!
It's still experimental, but we wanted to get it out there in time for the christmas and new year break. We'd love to hear any feedback on the teams update, as it helps us improve the game moving forward.
Speaking of christmas, you might notice the characters, like during Halloween, are a little bit festive. For the next few weeks, you'll be able to play as a Santa, Elf or Snowman.
Enjoy the update!!

Lethal Lawns v1.1.01 is live, and it's a doozy!!!
Update v1.1.01 adds Online Multiplayer. Now you can host and join matches using all the standard Steam Friends List matchmaking features.
To celebrate Halloween, the new spooky dooky Cemetery Arena is also live. Cemetery is a large Arena compared to the others, meaning there's plenty of grass to be mowed... but beware of the thick fog, or you'll lose track of where the thick grass is and become an easy target.
For the duration of Halloween, all the player Characters are Pumpkin Heads or Witches.
As always, there's some other quality of life changes in there too. We are working on some graphics and networking optimisation, as well as a clearer way to show scores and who's in the lead (so you know who to kill easier)
Lastly, please let us know of any bugs and issues over on the forums, especially with the Online Multiplayer. Random matches probably wont be easy to find while the game's concurrent users are low, so we advise you play with your Steam Friends (which is a lot funner than random games anyway).
Cheers

So we've had a great weekend at PAX Australia 2018. It's been such a blast, and if we met you in person at the booth we want to say thank you, it's a privilege for us to see the fun and excitement you have playing things we made... it's surreal. Really, thank you.. I wanted to quickly post this here, for everyone we've met in person and for everyone that we didn't, to explain exactly what the upcoming situation with online multiplayer is. Online Multiplayer is ready to go. It's sitting in a steam beta branch if you want to _try_ it out, and actually if you can and you find any bugs or issues we've missed we'd love to hear about it. That said, it will remain in a beta branch for a few more days, while we wrap up PAX Australia, take a day or two to recover, and prepare all of our press and media stuff about the upcoming update. Ideally we want it out by Halloween, so we can let you play on the massive new map, Cemetery. So we ask for your patience for just a little longer. And thanks for playing Lethal Lawns, and we hope you enjoy the shit out of it Dan

Hi all, Dan here We're writing this quickly to assure you that we are still active with Lawns, even though we haven't posted any announcements for a while. In short, we pushed up an update last week for v1.0.26 that included:
- 3D Menus
- New options for Custom Game
- Content Control options to hide the blood, or change it to look like colored paint (our personal favorite now, and the default setting)
- Dropping Coin Pickup's in Mowing Payday and King of the Lawn, instead of straight up stealing money. It changes the way these modes play out in a positive way
- Visual improvements
- Tweaks to the colors used for Players
- Fixed various issues across all Game Modes, and some changes that should reduce the amount of wild physics freak outs that sometimes occur

Patch 2 is live, with ramming damage, more quality of life improvements and a long overdue Game Over menu
- Added "Health Bars" for when Mowers take damage
- Added a "Ramming" damage type, customisable from the Gameplay Options
- Added a Game Over menu
- Added some match stats tracking that is used for the Game Over menu. Currently only the winner, most kills and most grass mowed is displayed, but a future hotfix on the way will display the more interesting stats
- Added an "Impact Zoom" camera effect for when players are mowed down, customisable from the Gameplay Options
- Minor bug fixes

Happy Friday!! We hope you've been enjoying Lethal Lawns This week's hotfix addresses some bugs, tweaks to Game Modes and some optimisations to performance
- Optimised some under-the-hood stuff so you should notice either better framerate, less noticeable frame spikes and less resource strain on systems
- Explosion scorch marks and blood stains will now fade after a short while, to prevent them from becoming the dominant visuals on the field
- Round timer for all Game Modes reduced from 90 seconds to 60 seconds
- Fixed some situations that could cause Rounds to get stuck or never end
- Changed how the Scoring works in Bounty Hunter and Last Mower Standing
- Fixed a bug in King of the Lawn that allowed dead players to become the Mowing King
- Added ability for players to "drop in" and "drop out" during a game

We just pushed a hotfix live to address a couple of issue:
- Bots added via Party Game and Custom Game should work
- Updated HUDs to hopefully make it clearer what the objectives and scoring mechanics of each Game Mode are
- Mown Grass will only be assigned the color of the mowing player in Game Modes where it matters
- Fixed a bug where default Options may have been corrupted
