Zombie Desperation v1.0.28 is now online
Bug fixes and Improvements
- Flamethrower. This new weapon will be available on every level. The flames will stay in the map for a few seconds, continuously killing the zombies in that spot. Smartly used to block spawns for a little while.
- Armored Zombie Headshot. You can no longer headshot armored zombies.
- Gutshot. You can no longer headshot bleeders(the monster in the gif), instead you need to shoot it in the gut for a "gutshot".
- Stacking Ammo. Picking two weapons of the same type will now stack the ammo.
- New spawn. A new zombie spawn has been added to the lobby level. Only 3 were working. Because of this, the difficult in that level will be increased.
- AdrenalineFix. Fixed a bug related to the adrenaline where the zombies were "teleporting".
- IceGrenadeFix. Fixed a bug where the frozen zombies appeared somewhere else after being frozen.
- Several other minor bug fixes and gameplay balancing changes.
Incoming New Stuff/Fixes
- New Items. Weapons and new defensive gadgets.
- Collectibles. Find collectibles to unlock documents with info about the game background story.
- PlayerStats. Players will be able to see some gameplay info such as the kills they have done with every weapon.
- New achievements
- New types of crosshairs
- Textures Fix. Several linux players have reported black textures in the deepest layer of the background graphics.

What is Zombie Desperation?
Zombie Desperation is a small horror game where you shoot hordes of zombies until you die, aiming to obtain a higher rank in the online leaderboards while unlocking new scenarios and weapons. It is a port of a shooting gallery mobile game released back in 2011, improved with several of the features that this platform has to offer. Battle for your life in six scenarios, shooting and exploding zombies, picking up weapons and support items before the screen overloads with zombies. Careful, some may want to see you up close before you become their dinner.
