Hello everyone! It's been a long time since release of The Light Sword Team games. Big Journey to Home has a decade of history, Spectrubes was created as an experiment, ported to Xbox One, and grew into big project Spectrubes Infinity with Steam Workshop support. I remember times of development and releases with great warmth, it was awesome! Thanks to everyone for bringing these games into the world and having you play them (though not as often as I'd like)! Thank you all those who helped with development and supported me! Thank you for your votes on Steam Greenlight when they were so important to release of games on Steam platform! As you know, Apple recently introduced their computers with own processor. I was greatly inspired by this and decided to port games to this wonderful platform. So, new updates are already coming out! Of course, apart from just porting I did some more innovations. Original Spectrubes game remained unchanged and hasn't been ported, but I made a little surprise for the owners of this game too! Now directly to the Spectrubes Infinity update. 1. Support for Apple Silicon processors The game now supports Apple Silicon processors on macOS! Hopefully, the game will run stably overall. 2. Discord support The game now supports Discord. Now your friends can see what level you are in or maybe you create your own level at all! For technical reasons, functionality works only on Windows and macOS. 3. Bug fix in classic design The game has no critical issues now, so only one bug with the classic design has been fixed. In the original Spectrubes game, a line of text was displayed in bottom of the main menu, but in Infinity it was disappeared somewhere. Now it's back where it was. Thanks to everyone who still plays games from The Light Sword Team! I might have something new to show soon, stay tuned! ;) Full list of changes:
- Added support for Apple Silicon processors
- Support for Discord status was added
- Bug in classic design with main menu display was fixed
- Running game on Steam for Linux was fixed
- Team logo was updated
- Game engine was updated

Hello everyone, dear fans of the Spectrubes series! Thanks to everyone who supports the game now! The update of the game version 1.2 was released. There are not as many changes as we would like, but they do exist. Added support for sprites for different directions in your custom designs. Also, behavior of playing sound files has been modified. More details, as usual, below: 1. Support sprites of different directions in custom designs Now you can add more than one sprite for player and enemy cubes - 4 for each direction. This will help make your designs more interesting. For more information about implementing this functionality in the design, see the Steam guide. 2. Duration of the animation of death and victory has been changed Now the duration is not fixated and depends of the length of sound at death or passing through the level. Remember this when developing your own designs. In standard designs the duration of the sounds was also changed. 3. Bug with animation for cubes in custom designs Also, a bug was fixed that didn't allow using animated sprites of player cubes. Previously only the first frame was used, but now it has been fixed. Enjoy the animation! Thank you all again for supporting games of the Spectrubes series! Games are getting better every day because of you! Full list of changes:
- Added support for sprites for different directions
- Now the length of the animation of death or victory depends of the length of the sound file
- Fixed bug with animation for cubes in custom designs

Hello everyone, dear fans of the Spectrubes series! First of all, I'm grateful to those who buy the game and make new content. Thank you! Today, a small update of the game 1.1 was released. It added support for the mouse cursor in other designs, added support for the French language and fixed minor bugs. More about all this below: 1. Support mouse cursor in custom designs and BJtH design At your request, the ability to add your mouse cursor to your own design has been added! By default, the cursor in the design is disabled, so the old designs will not suffer. In addition, in standard bonus design Big Journey to Home also added its own cursor. For more information about implementing the cursor see the Steam guide. 2. Enable mouse cursor support in settings In addition, now you can turn off the mouse cursor completely, if its presence disturb you, in the game settings. In designs where the mouse cursor is not available, the setting does not matter. 3. French localization Also, the support of the French language was returned by my friend Enzo, who worked on localizing the original game. Thank you for continuing the cooperation! Of course, you can follow him in twitter. Thank you all again for supporting games of the Spectrubes series! Games are getting better every day because of you! Full list of changes:
- Added support for mouse cursor in other designs
- Added the ability to turn off the cursor in the settings
- Added support for French
- Added German and French letters to the main game font
- Fixed bug with game crash at incorrect initial internal level set name
- Now the game checks the correctness of the internal name before adding it to the manager list
- Fixed typos of text

Hello everyone! My new game, Spectrubes Infinity, is finally out in the Steam store! It costs $2.99 and it's available for Windows, macOS and Linux. Special thanks to fans of the first part of the game and of Big Journey to Home! We have special bonuses available for owners of those games. Those who own the original Spectrubes will get all of the content from the old game available in the Infinity engine. Those who own Big Journey to Home will get a new visual design and a unique level editor object: a bonus to destroy all enemy cubes within the level. One of the main new featurses of the game is support for the Steam Workshop, which allows you to publish your own levels and designs. You can check here for more details on user-generated content. If you find any flaws or bugs that me and my testers failed to find, or have any other form of feedback, feel free to make use of the Steam Discussions! And don't forget to recommend the game to your friends and people you know, if you like it! ːaqua_cubeː As a reminder, you can keep track of the latest news on our official Twitter account. Thank you for your interest in the Spectrubes series! Yours, Silver Sword!

🎮 Full Controller Support
- Spectrubes Infinity Linux [24.63 M]
The core idea of the game remains: you control several cubes with different movement patterns. Your goal is to place the cube within an exit zone, with a variety of different game mechanics getting in your way - and there's even more of those now than ever before!
Time marches on and technologies change, and games follow suit. Thus, we moved away from the classic ZX Spectrum look to a completely new look inspired by modern vector graphics, in 1080p Full HD.
What is, then, the secret of Infinity? Why, the Steam Workshop, of course. You will now be able to publish your own levels and visual themes which will transform the game. And, of course, you'll be able to download the content created by other users.
If you own the original 2016 release of Spectrubes, you will be able to use the classic theme and/or play the original 100 levels in the new engine!
