You'd think that self-isolation would be great for an indie dev, right? Forced to be inside? Well, yes and no. More no than yes. Release dates are all sorts of wacky right now. Halloween Times is going to hit its mark, but Rainbow Hollow may slip. I recently moved to Boston, and as such, have not been able to fully focus on game development. I'm taking a few days for myself until my work computer arrives late this week. Even then, I'm all out of sorts and discombobulated from both being in a new city, and not being able to get my bearings because of COVID-19 and the mess it caused. Oh, and I feel like I'm getting sick. No, not COVID symptoms, more like weird stomach stuff. I've got a schedule, but it is pretty tight, and when push comes to shove, it doesn't look good for the experiment known as Rainbow Hollow getting out anytime soon. I'm much more confident of getting Halloween Times out before summer, and even then, it is going to miss April completely for a May launch. Maybe. We'll see. In the coming weeks, we'll be putting up a poll and a forum thread about what people liked and disliked about the first two Army of Tentacles games. Take into mind that we would be revamping the quest, inventory, and attribute/stat systems regardless of comments and criticism. Stay safe out there.

The 30th Anniversary of the Age of Super Geeks has hit, and as a mild-mannered reporter, it is your duty to head on down to the local convention center and get the big scoop! Only, you're probably the only reporter there, as a Super Geek isn't as flashy as a Super Hero. You see, the difference between the two is.... one can leap tall buildings in a single bound, and one.... can tie your shoelaces with just their mind.
So, yeah, it's not the most flashy job to chase.
We wouldn't be as bold as to say that it's like playing an interactive Christopher Guest film, but that's exactly what it is like.
- A mix of an investigative VN and an interactive mockumenatry
- As a mild-mannered reporter, compile a story over the course of the four-day convention to send to your boss
- Pick from three base stories to write about, and over the course of the convention, interview 10+ Super Geeks in order to uncover the history of this superpowered group of people
- Use your investigative skills to pry information from your subjects like clams, with each interviewee shedding light on or opening up new dialogue paths for the others
- 100+ possible stories to collect via interviews
- The story you write has the possibility to affect the future, so watch out!
