For those of you in the Circuit Breakers 4.0 beta, we've launched an update that adds some graphical flairs and fixes, the ability to use mouse + keyboard, and a few general bug fixes. For those not currently in the beta you can use the "playinhighdef" beta code to get in!
As usual, let us know if you find any problems. This isn't ready yet but we're getting close to launching it for all users.

Hey Breakers! We have one more final update for Circuit Breakers coming soon as a parting gift and a thank you for playing with us all these years. Update 4.0's headline feature is a new "HD" mode where we've modernized the way Circuit Breakers renders graphics to the screen. For many I hope this is a welcome addition, it helps distinguish the environment from the players and the robots and looks pretty good if we do say so ourselves. Of course, if the new style isn't your thing we've left the old style completely intact and you can easily switch between the two in the menu. A long requested PC exclusive feature is finally in the game: Mouse Support! You can now use a keyboard and mouse to play Circuit Breakers. We're still working on the implementations so expect things to change a little between now and the final release. There's a good deal of bugs that have been fixed, some of which have been around since the game launched and completely flew under our radar. (And everyone else's too!) Minor gameplay improvements have been made in both Arcade and Wavebuster modes, menus have been tweaked, and optimizations made across the board. HD mode should run fine on all devices, including those with integrated graphics running on systems as old as Windows 7. We're not quite done with update 4.0, but today we're lauching a beta branch to help clear out any bugs for the actual launch. To join the beta enter the password "playinhighdef" in Circuit Breakers' Steam properties. Make sure to join our discord as well to give any feedback or suggestions so that we can have a flawless release! Though this is likely our last Circuit Breakers release, we still make games! Check out some of our new stuff like ULTIMATE ARENA: SHOWDOWN and watch our social media feeds because we're always looking to the future with out projects. Thanks for Playing! -Troy

Hey Breakers!
This news was worth the wait! Starting next week we'll be rolling out Circuit Breakers' 2nd Anniversary update on PC, PS4, and XBOX One. Version 3.0 adds 4 new characters to the game, a new gamemode, dozens of new log entries, a new jukebox mode, 3 new powerups, a testing range, 50 new challenges, new music, performance improvements, and many bugfixes. With all this new content we think you'll have a great time picking Circuit Breakers up right where you left it! For our friends on Steam the update will include trading cards for each of the playable characters in the game, we hope you'll have a blast putting together the full set to unlock the cool emotes and backgrounds we've put together for the game.
Today we'd like to introduce you to Wavebuster, Circuit Breakers' latest gamemode. Wavebuster is a mix between the classic top-down action of Circuit Breakers with a little bit of tower defense. In order to succeed in Wavebuster you'll need to keep the hypercore, and yourself, in one piece for the duration of a few waves. Between waves you'll have the opprotunity to spend cash on walls and turrets to help you defend 6 unique maps that we've put together that we know you'll love. Check out this gameplay video to get a quick glimpse at what you'll be playing next week!

Hey Breakers, Sorry for the radio silence, we've been caught up in a couple things since the last release. We hope this update will help you forgive us. Circuit Breakers 2.3.0 is finally here for PC! I'll go over a few of the big additions. Translation Support Circuit Breakers is now fully playable in 7 languages: English, Spanish, French, Italian, German, Dutch, and Japanese. For players in those regions, especially younger ones, we hope this will be a welcome addition to enjoy the game in your native tongue. Save Fixes We noticed that many users were having issues with saving. We've cleared that up and you should be able to save and load without any problems. Steam Cloud Speaking of saves, Circuit Breakers' Steam Cloud support has improved as well. You can now end your game on a Windows PC and pick it up on a Linux PC. Perfect for those who want to keep their save files anywhere they go. Rebalancing Lots of areas that needed attention have finally had their fair share of care and the feel of the game has improved significantly. Lots of tiny adjustments to enemies, rooms, and challenges were made and we know you'll enjoy playing even more now. Vibration Profiles Each character in the game has a different feel for when your controller rumbles. This is an XInput feature only so not everyone will get to try this feature out. Visual Improvements Graphics have been tweaked to make the game look even better than before, specifically in the electric room area. Get to room 21 and see the difference for yourself! Performance Improvements 2.3.0 is the leanest, meanest version of Circuit Breakers to date. Even dated computers should be able to run the game with ease. Try Circuit Breakers on a laptop and play with friends anywhere on the go! Upcoming News We're committing to even more updates for Circuit Breakers, follow @Triverske and @ShootAllRobots on Twitter for the latest info. For those out there who haven't ascended, Circuit Breakers released for PS4 this week and wil release soon on XBOX One -Troy

Hey Breakers, It has come to our attention that we are unlikely to meet our February deadline for Campaign, and as unfortunate as that may be I hope you understand that we're working on something that emphasizes quality above anything else. However, in an attempt to keep our players satisfied we plan on releasing an update next week that makes some much awaited changes such as 6 player mode. -Troy

Hey Breakers, We have a decent sized update that fixes a lot of the smaller bugs in the game, and adds some polish in some places we thought were lacking. This update was especially needed for our SteamOS and Ubuntu users who have been putting up with our lax dev cycles! This update also introduces a new save format and major speedups, so if you've been having trouble running the game go ahead and give it a second chance. Currently 1.1.0 is available for Windows and Linux, and will be available to our OSX users later this week.

Hey Breakers, This is an important annoucement from the Circuit Breakers Development Team @ Triverske. We're proud to announce that we're preparing a multi-part campaign for Circuit Breakers. Throughout thousands of hours of playtesting we found that Circuit Breakers is most enjoyable when you play with a group of friends in the same room, which can be a problem when you're playing by yourself. Campaign is a mode dedicated to making sure that you can experience the game as it was intended, regardless of how many people you're playing with. The first episode of the Circuit Breakers Campaign will launch later this month, for free. Thank you for your support, expect more news very soon. -Troy

Hey friends, Circuit Breakers released one month ago, and the community support and feedback has been wonderful. We hope you will continue to enjoy the game for a very long time with your friends. We've released several updates with small changes to gameplay as well as lots of bugfixes. Starting early next year we hope to show off some new content we've been working on, but until then consider finding the secrets that the team has hidden in the game. As always, it's a pleasure hearing your feedback and questions in the forums. So keep it coming! -Troy

Hello Breakers!
Circuit Breakers is finally now available on Steam. The team are very excited to see what you think of the game!
We're launching with a 20% discount for the first week and are working very hard on the online multiplayer mode, currently it is in beta and allows connections but it is not recommended to play just yet. More news to come for online multiplayer soon.
For now, try and get a high score in score attack, complete special challenges and let us know who is your favorite character! Personally, I'm a fan of Samson's Missile launcher!
Don't forget to enter the competition to win a full size Arcade Cabinet here:

Hi everyone (or should I say good day Breakers!) We are all very excited about the launch tomorrow. In the office we have experienced some heated rivalries as the team compete for the best score in Score Attack mode. When Circuit Breakers launches we hope that this rivalry will continue! The score attack mode records data on your best score as well as the best global score and the top score of your friends. We recorded a brief run though of the first level on Score Attack mode using Aldo. As you can see it can get quite hectic! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2defkg6ldJc

Hello, This update fixes several things and improves online support. I still wouldn't recommend using online just yet as there are a few more issues to sort out but hopefully we'll have things running for tomorrow's release. I'd also like to mention that tomorrow's version will be listed as version 1.0.0 and not RC 1.X.X as it will no longer be in testing. Changes since 1.1.1
- Added some new game areas
- Added new enemies
- Added better online menus
- Added an indicator when spawning
- Minor bug fixes

Hi everyone, We would like to share details on the multiplayer features of Circuit Breakers. When the game launches on 17th of November a fully supported local multi-player mode will be available, we’ve tested this for many, many hours and have had great fun shooting robots with friends! Up to four players can play together using 360 controllers and a keyboard. We do have online multi-player working, however we understand that it needs just a little bit of attention before it becomes a fully-fledged online mode. Therefore the online portion will be currently named as “online beta”. Over the next few weeks we’d greatly appreciate any input or reporting any issues to us regarding the online beta. Feel free report any issues to us at support@excalibur-publishing.com and we can begin eliminating them up to the final launch of Online Multi-player.

Weapon type: Machine Gun
You’ve probably never met a man more full of himself than Aldo. He is the leader of the circuit breakers but his drive and confidence is unmatched and encourages the rest of the team to bring their A game. I mean, who wouldn’t want to wipe that smile off his face by sporting a bigger robot body count than him? Aldo's machine gun strikes a solid balance between range and power for an all-around great weapon.
Weapon Type: Shotgun
There are few that rival Shelbys straightforward attitude. She is often mistaken as cold, but if you have a plan you want to set in motion, Shelby’s the girl who can follow through. Her weapon of choice, the shotgun allows Shelby to get up close and personal. Every other member of the team keeps their distance from the robots but Shelby thrives when close to the enemy.
Weapon Type: Missile
There are many things you can say about Samson, but clever isn’t one of them. He is the team’s explosive guy, delivering a tremendous amount of damage with his signature missile launcher. Samson loves explosions and if you give him a recipe for a bomb, he will tell you the exact size of the explosion with 100% accuracy. So what Samson lacks in general knowledge he more than makes up for in explosive know-how.
Weapon type: Laser
Aldo would never openly admit it, but Tay is the real brains of the operation. She is responsible for creating the weapons that the Circuit Breakers team uses today. Her weapon of choice, the laser gun matches her interest in engineering. There are many scientific teams requesting her knowledge in the field of engineering, but she prefers the application instead of the theory.
