If you enjoyed the series and want to support the developer a little more, you can purchase this DLC which lets you turn any room in Snail Trek 4 into a disco. The ball drops, the snails can do the moonwalk, and the Zhawks bop a bit. :-)

I've made another update that: - fixes some parser bugs that people have reported (or provides better responses to some actions that make sense, or that need an explanation why they won't work). - provides a few more gentle hints (if you look for them) about various puzzles that are stumping people a bit too much. - prepares the game for some upcoming DLC!

I've released a patch that fixes an issue where you could get stuck in a certain room, and also adds a missing music credit. Thanks for playing!

Please enjoy this final chapter of the Snail Trek series. It's the longest and most challenging of the bunch - definitely no longer a "20 minute adventure". This one features switchable characters just like chapter 2 did. Also... a baby snail! Look how cute she is! I hope nothing happens to her... As always, go to the discussion forums if you have any problems, or want hints on achievements or Easter eggs or other secret things (maybe...). ALSO: Chapters 1-3 will be on sale for the next 4 days, so now is a good time to buy the set (especially now that there is a bundle discount for the 4 games). Tell your friends! Also, please check out cascadequestgame.com for information about my other game in progress.

- Snail Trek - Chapter 4: Linux [121.13 M]
- Snail Trek 4 - Disco Donation DLC
In the style of the early Sierra Online adventure games, Snail Trek has colorful EGA-ish graphics and a text parser interface. Relive the nostalgia in these bite-sized adventures - but without all the pain. Autosaves, a text parser with auto-suggest, and puzzles with no dead ends, all combine to bring this old genre into the modern era.
In Chapter 4, it seems like the end is near. You've fallen into a trap and your entire civilization may be doomed. Can you muster your courage and cleverness one last time to save the day?
Key Features
- Switchable characters - solve puzzles by having the snails work together.
- Autosaves - no need to save every few minutes (though you still can if you want).
- A text parser with both auto-suggest and auto-correct - fat finger your way to puzzle glory (but you can turn them off if you want to suffer more greatly).
- A text parser that understands what objects are in front of you, so you can be lazy and just type things like 'get' or 'look'.
- CRT emulation mode that gives those pixels an ever-so-slightly fuzzy look.
- A stereophonic score.
- Cute snails.
- Deaths (but hey, autosaves).
- No dead ends! Puzzle your way around with impunity!
- Widescreen aspect ratio, since monitors are more rectangular now.
- OS: Ubuntu/SteamOS 64-bit
- Processor: 2 GHzMemory: 2 GB RAM
- Memory: 2 GB RAM
- Graphics: Intel HD 3000 or better
- Storage: 200 MB available space
