This announcement is to inform you of the public release of "Drift Stage v0.4.1192.4641". This build was originally intended only for internal testing, meaning it does not represent a complete project and should still be taken as a proof of concept.

This version of Drift Stage was archived after multiple internal partner issues in 2018, and was left with no programmer - long after setting and announcing an internal release date.

Between 2019 to 2022, efforts were made to find a publisher and programmer, with multiple studios assisting in reviewing the games code. In late 2020, it became evident that the complication created by the exit of the former team members made any collaboration impossible.

This has been the reason for the games lack of news.

So in an effort to continue the project, based on many requests - we've decided to move the game into Early Access, now that its possible.

• If you have a testing key, your keys should automatically convert to the new "Early Access" version. There have been no updates to the development build however, so you will not see any new version numbers on your title screen.
  
  
• If you have a soundtrack bundle key, you should now have access to the new stand-alone soundtrack. The soundtrack package was converted from the old DLC based setup, so look for it in your soundtrack library.
  
  
• If you have a key, but it wont work on Steam, or wont update to version "0.4.1192.4641", please leave a comment on the forums so I can replace your key. Any keys purchased during the crowd funding period should all be active and update to the currently release version.
  
  
• If you have a key, but lost it - please leave a comment so I can contact you. All keys are tied to an account email address.
  
  
• If you have a per-purchase key, you should finally have access to the testing build.
  
  
• If you have a pricing concern, please comment on the forum, all prices were based on current exchange rates and Valve recommendations.
  

In preparation for a public release of "Drift Stage" version 0.4.1192.4641, multiple changes have been made to the "Drift Stage" Store, Library, Community, and DLC pages.

Notice of updates:

• A three page quick reference manual is now accessible via the "Drift Stage" store page (.pdf).
  
• All placeholder assets and default layout images, avatars, logos, screenshots, text, and icons have been updated or replaced with new content - meeting current Steam feature and guideline standards.
  
• Migration of bare-bones DLC based soundtrack package to full Steam support with corresponding page and available formats + high resolution cover art. If you already have the soundtrack as part of your key bundle - you will automatically own the migrated soundtrack.
  
• Addition of five(5) exclusive Steam avatars - available in your "Profile Settings" under "Your Avatars".
  
• Incorrectly configured Steamworks settings were preventing Steamworks content from loading into the game. This has been fixed, allowing all community skins to load directly into the car select menu.
