I really didn't think I'd make another update, but it was starting to get to me that this game was left with such serious issues on windows 10. I did something in hopes to fix the issues, so let me know how it is.

Also a Linux version! I can't test this either, so any feedback would be great.

If this update works on windows 10 and Linux there will very likely be no more updates, so don't expect any content patches.

In short - Nothing!

I've been done with this game for over a year at this point. It was originally released on my itch io page. When it got accepted onto steam I added achievements and online leaderboards because I felt it would be lazy if I didn't get those things in. There have been a few updates since the steam release, but I think I'm 100% done now. I'm sorry if you were expecting this game to recieve content patches, but I can't do that.

I've been working on my second game a few months before Chroma Blast was initially released, so well over a year now. I'm getting ever closer to finishing off my second game, and there's no way I can juggle that and updating Chroma Blast.

The game will stay as is. I know a lot of people want mouse controls, and I get that. A lot of peoples controls just flat out don't work. I have no idea how I'd go about fixing that since it works fine for the majority of people and I have no way to test that. People have also managed to cheat even with the anti cheat seeing as some of the top scores have less play time than it would take to get those scores. All this said I can't keep working on this game and I can't keep managing the cheating on the leaderboards.

I hope you understand, and I hope you enjoy what the game is as it stands! I just figured I'd be as transparent as possible so I don't get anyones hopes up and let them down.

There was a pretty big hole in the anti cheat, so I patched that out. Nobody seemed against wiping, so I went ahead and wiped the top two high scores just because they were quite a leap from the others below them. Sorry if either of those were legitimate!

Edit: (If you want a full wipe again let me know, but I don't think it's that necessary)

• I fixed the dumb bug that made "Daniel 0" always show up on local scores
  
• I added menu buttons to the main menu
  
• I made the in game tutorial popup larger
  
• And the biggest change - I added a pretty infallible anti cheat system.
