Hello, everyone! We've just released a major update to Highway Blossoms! In fact, we released three versions in rapid succession just now 1.2.2, 1.2.1, and 1.2! ( More on this below.) Our apologies for the large delay in getting these versions out various external factors beyond our control prevented us from properly releasing these updates, despite them being feature-complete for the longest time. This release fixes many long-standing issues of varying severity including achievements / trophies, vastly improves controller navigation support, and adds native Apple Silicon (arm64 / AArch64) support for macOS, as well as ARM Linux (arm64 / AArch64, armv7) notably including Asahi Linux (arm64e / Apple Silicon)! All that being said, we thank you all for remaining patient, and as always, for supporting Studio lan across these many years! If for some reason you want to downgrade the game to an earlier version, you can now do this using Steam's "Betas" tab, accessible via right-clicking on the game in Steam and selecting "Properties". Please note that save data from newer versions, including your persistent save data, may cause crashing or other erratic behaviour when downgrading versions. Karen/ (akemin_dayo) and adirosa

Thanks to our last Kickstarter, we were able to fund physical editions of PC game copies, soundtracks, and artbooks for each of our yuri games, including Highway Blossoms!
We have plenty of extras that are ready to ship. The PC copies of Highway Blossoms are the Gold Rush edition, meaning it also includes Highway Blossoms: Next Exit, the sequel side story to Highway Blossoms.
You can pick up the physical copies of the game, soundtrack, and artbook on our store!
To help celebrate the recent 7th anniversary of Highway Blossoms, we also added some new merch and some older merch featuring the cast! (yes you can carry Tess around as a keychain)
You can find all of our Highway Blossoms merch on our website.
Thank you everyone who's played Highway Blossoms these past 7 years! You can keep up to date on our ongoing games by signing up for our newsletter, following our Tumblr or supporting us on Patreon.
We just launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund disc-based physical copies of our first three visual novels, "Highway Blossoms," "Heart of the Woods," and "Please Be Happy." We're also printing the artbook and soundtrack too! The game copies are disc-based and compatible with PC/Mac/Linux. The games are available in two versions: the Webstore Editions and Classic Editions. The Classic editions come in a DVD-sized case, and the Webstore editions come in a CD-sized case and have a reversible cover with a new illustration. There's also a special postcard and sticker sheet exclusive to the campaign, illustrated by some special guest artists. The campaign will run for 4 weeks starting from today, meaning you have until April 9th to order! After the campaign ends, the games, books, and soundtracks will be available on our webstore and at IRL events. The sticker sheet and postcard will be sent to the vault, forever exclusive to this campaign. Please give it a look if you're interested, and thanks for your support!
DLCDLC At long last, we're excited to release the Chinese translation for Highway Blossoms: Next Exit. Thank you for your patience, and a big thanks to the translators and editors who worked on the patch to make it a reality. We hope you enjoy this extension of Amber and Marina's story! It took us a couple tries to update properly, so if you saw multiple downloads for the game over the past couple days, [strike]that's why[/strike] no you didn't.
Heyo everyone, Lots of big news today. The main ones, of course, are the releases of Highway Blossoms: Next Exit and the artbook! I've talked about those a bunch before, so I won't repeat myself too much here. Go pick them up! https://store.steampowered.com/app/490270/Highway_Blossoms_Next_Exit/ https://store.steampowered.com/app/1412300/Highway_Blossoms__Official_Artbook/ To access Highway Blossoms: Next Exit, go to the "Extras" tab from the main menu (which may require beating the game once to unlock) and then go to "DLC Content." You'll be able to start the DLC story from there! Alongside that, we've got a big update for the base Highway Blossoms game again, arguably even bigger than the Remastered update a couple years ago. Buckle in, because it's about to get bumpy. Longtime HB fans might not be surprised to see this, but unfortunately, this update is likely going to break your saves. It's an unfortunate result of the engine that we use for Highway Blossoms (more specifically some custom modifications to it) and there's not really a way to avoid it. We're sorry for the inconvenience You can hold down ctrl to quickly skip through text to get back to where you were before. Broken saves is the only bad news, though. Now onto the good! The first change you'll probably notice is the new GUI in the game. We've totally renovated all of the menus and interface, and added some extra features. For one, there are new accessibility options, and a light/dark mode for the game. Now you can play Good Highway Blossoms and Evil Highway Blossoms. There's also a new music player and improved art gallery (make sure to check out the Next Exit guest art too!). In the gallery, you might notice a new section called "Marina's Thoughts." We've added a number of cut-in illustrations throughout the game for certain items that come up in the story - stuff like the journal, the gold, meals the girls eat, and more. In addition to seeing them in-game, you can check them out in the gallery as well, for a quick opinion from Marina on each item. There are a couple other new sections that you can find under "Extras" in the Legacy Content area. For one thing, you can now find all things Goofball mode here: EZ Mode, Extreme Mode, and the new form of Goofball mode itself: rather than requiring a whole other playthrough with a couple changed lines, Goofball mode is now in more of a highlight reel format that simply features The Jokes. We did remove a couple jokes that we felt weren't in good taste, though. On that note, the Jumbo Scene from the original game has also been moved to the Legacy Content area. This means that the scene is no longer part of a playthrough of the regular game. However, you can reread that scene in its entirety from the menu. Finally, we made the slightest of changes to music in the game, by adding one new track. It's a song that was written for Next Exit, but we chose to add it into the base game too. If you own the soundtrack DLC here on Steam, you'll automatically get the new tracks from Next Exit - even if you don't own Next Exit itself. Instead you can listen to the songs and imagine how they might be used, I suppose. A Chinese translation for Next Exit is in the works, and will be added as soon as it's completed. Also, 'cause I've seen a few people asking: there's no new adult content or new Goofball Mode content in Next Exit. Whether you play NE or not, we hope you enjoy these newest improvements to Highway Blossoms. Can't wait to be on my deathbed in a few decades and still rolling out updates to the game then.
Hey gamers,
As the event title, subtitle, and summary all probably told you: both Highway Blossoms: Next Exit and the Official Artbook will be releasing as DLC on September 25th.
If you don't know what those are then cool, because I'll explain. If you do then skip to the bottom of this or something.
Next Exit is a brand new story DLC set just a little while after the base game. Amber and Marina return to Las Vegas and to meet up with Tess for her birthday. Coincidentally, Tess' birthday is September 25. See what we did there? As you might expect, not everything goes as planned. There's laughter, there's tears, there's Cassi the candy shop girl. All that good stuff you want from a Highway Blossoms game. Or at least, so we hope.
It's a little over half the length of the original game. It's got brand new CG's and backgrounds, and even some new/improved sprites. It's got a brand new GUI that will also be replacing the GUI in the main game. It's got new item cut-ins, including some for the base game too. It's fully voice acted by the original cast. It's got new music* from all the original composers. It's pretty cool.
Highway Blossoms: Next Exit will cost $7.99 and will require the base game to play. Add it to your wishlist here: https://store.steampowered.com/app/490270/Highway_Blossoms_Next_Exit
You can check out the official trailer right here:
[previewyoutube=Sc5E1NHs0wY;full][/previewyoutube]
*The new tracks from Next Exit will be added to the existing soundtrack DLC, so you won't need to purchase them separately. We <3 you.
At the same time as Next Exit, we're also releasing the Highway Blossoms Official Artbook. It's in .pdf format and includes all the art from the game, concept art, merch designs and bonus illustrations, plus commentary from a bunch of us developers. It's like reading a whole book of patch notes! But more exciting and with more pretty pictures. One thing: the artbook does NOT contain the images from the 18+ DLC.
Normally in this kind of book we'd also include a walkthrough on how to get every ending in the game but uh... Guess that's not really needed here.
The artbook will cost $4.99. You can go ahead and add it to your wishlist already, and be notified as soon as it goes up for sale.
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1412300/Highway_Blossoms__Official_Artbook/
That's everything for now! I've said it before, but thanks for sticking around. It's cool that we can release this stuff 4 years after the original game and people are still excited for it. These last two weeks of waiting until release already feel like playing on Extreme Mode. Hopefully it'll all be worth the sense of achievement at the end.
Josh
Hey guys,
Long time no posting an announcement for y'all to read. That changes today, with the exciting news that many of you may have already known: Highway Blossoms: Next Exit is coming soon, and available to wishlist right now.
HB:NE is a new story set shortly after the original game. It sees the main cast return to Las Vegas to celebrate Tess' birthday, at an alien-themed convention at the Stratosphere. There's tension, humor, crying, etc. You guys know the drill, right? Most importantly, Cassi, the candy shop girl, is back. Somehow, she ended up being a fan favorite character, which was really cool, because she had my favorite design in the game. This whole DLC may or may not have been an excuse to write about her more.
Anyway, the game. It's written by Syon and I again, and is a collaboration between Studio lan and Studio Coattails. All of the original voice actors will be back, and we're also getting new music from each of the composers. The character art in the DLC is by moekki and Kamifish, both of whom previously worked on Katawa Shoujo.
The DLC will require the base game to install (as DLC's tend to do). It should run a little under half the length of the original game, yet features just about the same number of CGs. Full voice acting will be available on launch. There will also be certain points in the story where you can choose to read from Amber or Marina's perspective.
We're still working on finishing up the DLC, but we're in the scripting and voice acting stage, which means we're pretty close to the end. While it's still too early to name an exact release date, we're hoping to have it out near the end of Summer.
In the meantime, the store page is already up on Steam, so please add the DLC to your wishlist - it'll help us out a lot, and you'll also get notified as soon as it's up for sale~ https://store.steampowered.com/app/490270/Highway_Blossoms_Next_Exit
Finally, to end things with, please check out these gorgeous character cards that the Studio lan designer adirosa put together. They're meant to be a little update about the characters since the end of the original game.
We know it's been a while since the original game came out, so thanks to all of y'all still sticking with us here. We hope you're excited!
Josh
Hey everyone, Syon here. I'm one of the co-creators of Highway Blossoms and founder of Studio Coattails. Just wanted to let you guys know we released a new project. It's called National Park Girls, and in a lot of ways, it's a bit of a spiritual successor to Highway Blossoms, with its focus on Americana, rustic music, and also having a cutely cynical protagonist. Here's the rundown if you're interested: All Eve ever wanted was to protect and preserve the land, but after five years of being a ranger in Yosemite National Park, shes just about ready to throw in the towel. The people are careless, her co-workers are annoying, and thanks to an increasingly tight budget she can hardly do her job. Fed up and burned out, Eve lashes out, but after being transferred to a remote cabin post in return, she only finds herself more uncertain of the value of being a ranger. Soon after arriving, three strange girls corner her in the cabin. Not only do they claim to live there, but they also say theyre the manifestations of Zion, Yellowstone, and Yosemite National Parks! Are these girls really who they say they are? Why is Yosemite so obsessed with her research? And why does one of them have a volcano on their head? Follow Eve as she gets closer with these spritely cuties that put the natural in supernatural, and maybe even discovers a new kind of love for the parks. Both me and Josh are working on this (just like Highway Blossoms), so you can expect a familiar tone and atmosphere. Hope you decide to check it out!
Attention: This establishment is now under new management. Sort of. Starting today (technically a couple days ago), Highway Blossoms is no longer going to be under the Alienworks name. From here on out, it'll be jointly listed under Studio Coattails and Studio lan, the two groups that Syon and I formed back in 2017. So what does this mean for HB? In the short-term, not a whole lot. The recent update to the game just changes the logos and credits (and also changes one joke from goofball mode so that we won't get sued). Long term, it means that you can look forward to HB merchandise from both studios, as well as extra content on the Studio lan Patreon. Anything in the future that we do that uses the Highway Blossoms IP will be under the same two names, as well. While this is a great time to replay HB (since, let's face it, any time is a great time to replay HB), if you're looking for something new, both Studio Coattails and Studio lan have some recent releases. At Studio lan, we just released Heart of the Woods about a month ago. It's another yuri game, this time in the fantasy genre. It's about a duo who run a paranormal investigation blog, and travel to a remote mountain village to investigate rumors of... Well, the paranormal. Spoilers: they find it. Not into yuri? First of all, why are you on this page? But aside from that, on March 14, Studio Coattails is releasing Episode 1 of National Park Girls. Just like the title implies, it's a story about US national parks. As anime girls. Just like HB, it's got full English voice acting, including some familiar faces. Well, voices. While it's fully a Studio Coattails project, it's one that Syon and I are writing together. Episode 1 is all Syon, while I'll be writing episodes 2 and 3, and then Syon's writing 4 and 5. As mentioned, this one isn't a romance title, although there are still some... Shall we say, romantic undertones? But they're not at the forefront of the story. Anyway, that's it for now. It's so heartwarming to see people discovering and enjoying HB still, even a couple years after release. We hope that you'll stick with us for our new projects and enjoy those too. Until next time! Cheers, Josh
Hey everyone, Josh here. I just wanted to let you know that I just released a new yuri VN called "Heart of the Woods" with my team Studio lan. It's got ghosts, it's got girls, it's got gmagic. It's also got a 10% launch discount for a week! Anyway, if you liked Highway Blossoms, then hopefully you'll like HotW too. I directed and co-wrote it, and all of the character art was done by Rosuuri (who did the cover art and a couple CG's for HB). It's got a different tone and style than HB does, but I think you'll still enjoy it. Also, stay tuned for more news on National Park Girls, a VN series that Syon and I are working on together. The character art for that one is being done by Satchel, the artist behind Doki Doki Literature Club. More on that coming really soon! Thanks for checking out HotW (assuming that you do, and don't just close this tab without clicking this really fun link right here which will take you to the game).

Hiya, The adult patch is all grown up now, and is a full-fledged Steam DLC. Still free. You can grab it at https://store.steampowered.com/app/943720/Highway_Blossoms__18_Adult_Only_Content/ This is the exact same as the 18+ patch that we host on our website, so if you've gotten it from there, you don't need to change anything. There's no content in the Steam DLC version that isn't available in the old patch. You can continue to use that version if you'd like, or you can switch to using the official release. If you weren't aware of the adult patch, well, as its store page says, it adds two uncensored sex scenes towards the end of the game. The illustrations are by Weee/Raemz. Want to know if you've already passed where the scenes would've occurred? Both take place [spoiler] After the Las Vegas section of the game. One is right after visiting the World's Tallest Thermometer, one is after Amber and Marina make up from their argument, right before they go to the music festival.[/spoiler] It probably goes without saying, but you need to be 18 years or older to download and play the adult patch. Have fun!
Hey everyone, We think we've identified the issue that we've been having with achievements, and have uploaded a new build to fix it. Please let us know in the comments if this solves the issue. We apologize for the trouble.
This update addresses some minor Chinese translation errors that have been found by fans, and should not impact any English players.
After many months of hard work, Highway Blossoms Remastered is now available to all current owners for free. Here are the major updates: -Full English voiceover has been added for all spoken lines -Simplified Chinese language option has been added. -Soundtrack has been remastered and three new additional tracks have been added(applies to DLC as well) -RV and Canyon de Chelly CG's have been remade -New menu options and accessibility features added to make reading a little easier -Extra sound effects -Additional Steam achievements -Sprite animations improved -Various typos fixed Additionally, we have a few other surprises added in for you to discover as you play through again. We hope you enjoy discovering them.
I tried like four different titles for this post and none of them sounded good, so you're stuck with that one. I'm not happy about it either. Before getting to the new announcement stuff, a quick update on HB: Remastered, to technically make this post relevant: voice acting is progressing pretty nicely, and will hopefully continue to do so. We've got one of the fixed up CG's from Weee, and she's currently working on a new CG that wasn't present in the original game. Smoke Thief (formerly Anna Logue) has touched up the mastering on his music, so it sounds way better - both the in-game versions and the ones from the soundtrack DLC. We're still hoping to have HB:R out by December, just in time [strike]for everyone to buy it for your friends for the holidays[/strike] to make it a nice holiday present to you all =3 We'll keep you posted on how it goes. Also, because a few people asked on the last update: Syon's still plugging away at "Dusty Trails," the HB spin-off light novel that he's been working on for the past [indeterminate amount of time]. He's gotten a pretty good chunk of the first volume written, and while it's too early for a release date, it's coming along nicely. Now for the good stuff. While we collectively as Alienworks are still hard at work on HRP, Syon - the director and other writer for HB - and myself have both started our own new VN studios on the side, for making other games. Syon just started Coattails Studio, a group for exploring all kinds of weird and unique stories - and not just visual novels. Right now, they're working on a game called "Same As It Ever Was," which is a Lovecraftian, surreal game. The character designs and art are being done by Shiyun, who was also the lead artist here on HB, so you know it's gonna look good. Give 'em a follow over on ze Twitters if you'd like. Additionally, I started Studio Élan, which is a really pain to type, lemme tell ya, because of that É. With Studio Élan, I want to make more yuri games in a similar vein as HB: tasteful and cute, rather than super lewd. Just last weekend, we announced our first two games: "Heart of the Woods," which is a mystical story involving a ghost girl in a magic forest, and "The Waters Above," which is about a sea nymph who's in charge of taking care of the stars. The artist for HotW is Rosuuri, who did some CG's for HB like [spoiler]the kiss scenes and Marina in Vegas[/spoiler], and the artist for TWA is Namie, who hasn't worked on a visual novel before. You can stalk us in the Twitterverse as well. There are also Discord servers for both groups, which you can find on our respective Twitter pages. Anyway, that's about it for this time. Pls look forward to our upcoming games. The new HRP demo will hopefully be out by the end of this year, but considering our previous luck with announcing release windows and then flying right past 'em, we're not gonna commit to that. Thanks for reading this stuff. It really does mean a lot to me/us. Cheers!

Sup friends, We have things and stuff to tell you! If you attended the Sekai Project panel at Anime Expo this year, or if you follow our Twitter (hint hint twitter.com/alienworksdev) you might have seen us announce HB: Remastered. If you didn't, well, there's a reason I'm writing this update. The Remastered version will have a few new things. The most significant of these is full English voice acting! And yes, I mean full ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) We just posted a preview trailer on Youtube, so mosey on over there and check it out. We'll wait. Back? Okay, good. As the girls explain, in addition to the voicing, there will be a remastered soundtrack including a couple new songs from Smoke Thief (formerly credited as Anna Logue), and with other tracks getting a few touch ups. We'll also be fixing some of the art, including the RV background that's currently kind of a void into the nether, as well as adding in one or two new CG's. There will be lots of other changes, too, including but not limited to some new language options. Once the update's out, we'll be printing those physical copies we talked about like half a year ago. We announced those a little too early, because we're really good at planning (and because we hadn't settled on doing VA at that point, but of course once we did we chose to postpone the physicals until after the patch is out). So, if you love us enough to buy the game a second time and get a DVD copy, you'll be able to do that! We're gonna try to include a bonus item with 'em too, but nothing's settled there. The patch itself will be delivered as a free update to everybody who already owns the game, and we're hooooooping to have it out by the end of this year. Which probably means sometime early next year. However! Although the patch will be free, we're probably going to be raising the base price of the game a couple bucks to compensate. So, if you don't already own Highway Blossoms, then... Well, first off, how are you reading this??? But also you should totally get the game now while it's cheaper rather than wait for the price increase. That is, of course, unless you feel like giving us more money. We're cool with that too.

Happy holidays everyone! No matter what you celebrate (or don't celebrate) we hope that you find yourselves warm and comfortable today. We have a bit of news regarding Highway Blossoms. The specific details can be found here on our announcement post. That page has all of our HB news. At the top is a link to the full post, which includes some info on our next game HRP, too. The full post is NSFW, the one I linked isn't. Click at your own risk; we're not responsible for upsetting any prudish mothers or grandmas. Here's a tl;dr of the HB news, though: -We're releasing an HB light novel called "Dusty Trails" which focuses on Joseph, Tess and Mariah. A light novel is a book that's supposed to be kind of easy to pick up and read. It doesn't have tons of pictures and music like a visual novel. We might do physical copies of the light novel in the future. -Physical copies of Highway Blossoms will be available on the Sekai Project webstore soon. It comes with the game in a DVD case, and includes the soundtrack as well. -Some cute art for the holidays Closer to summer, we'll have some news on a few other things that we hope to do with the game. Please look forward to it. Once again, happy holidays!

Remember when I said the last update would probably be the final? Yeah, me either. Thanks to the efforts of the translation team Mehlate, a free Russian language option has been added for Highway Blossoms. To use it, please activate the beta branch of the game by navigating to Highway Blossoms in your Steam library, right-clicking the title, clicking "Properties" and choose the "betabuild" option from the Beta tab. Then, load the game and go into "Preferences" and choose "Russian" as your language. This translation was created by Mehlate and we're very grateful for their efforts. However, please be aware that neither Alienworks nor Sekai Project can guarantee its quality or accuracy. In addition, there is a known issue with Mac OSX Sierra and Ren'py games, which is the engine that we use. A fix is currently being developed, which we will implement when possible, though it's not included in this version of the build. Most likely, we'll set it to the beta branch when live, because it will once again corrupt saves. Hey, at least this (that?) time it won't be on us. Last but not least is something that I've forgotten to bring up for the past several updates: Alienworks has a public Discord server that everyone is welcome to join if you wanna chat with us, or other fans, or just lurk. As always, thanks for your support, and we hope you continue to enjoy Highway Blossoms.

Sierra brought with it a change that makes all games created on Ren'Py unplayable without a particular change. Please download the new build from the beta branch to fix that. Because it requires fundamentally altering the game engine, we can't promise save integrity. Hey, at least this time it won't be on us. Hey guys, Long time no talk. First off, I just wanted to say thanks again to everyone who has played HB. We're super stoked that most people seem to like it. Coming across people who have changed their profile pics on Steam and social media to use HB characters is seriously heartwarming. And we read every single review that's left for the game, so thanks to those who have left 'em. Anyway, we just pushed what's probably going to be the last update to HB for a while, setting the changes from the 1.32 beta to live. If you opted into the beta previously, you shouldn't notice anything different. If you enjoyed Highway Blossoms enough to want to follow the rest of what we're working on, then I've got good news: Just today, we posted a new trailer from our upcoming, 6 route visual novel "The Human Reignition Project." It's a BxG, romance/thriller game, due out sometime next year. The new trailer also premieres our brand new opening theme, REIGNITE, with vocals by Sasaki Sayaka (Girls Und Panzer, Nichijou, Planetarian) and composed by ARTE REFACT (Love Live, Idolm@ster, and more). You can check that out at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TD4GtZLkUcQ We held a Kickstarter campaign for HRP last year which is what enabled us to put so much into the game. However, we wanted to give our newer fans a chance to grab some of the stuff we offered during that. So, we've opened pre-orders on a few select items like body pillows and physical copies of the game. You can pick those up at https://the-human-reignition-project-an-english-visual-nov.backerkit.com/hosted_preorders For the most concise description of HRP and to see where the money's going, please check out the Kickstarter page. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/sekaiproject/the-human-reignition-project-an-english-visual-nov/description You'll see, however, that we've upgraded the sprites from what's shown on there - the versions in the trailer are the most recent ones. As always, thanks for checking our stuff out. If you want more frequent, smaller updates (as well as the occasional extra bit of HB and HRP art) be sure to follow us on Twitter @AlienworksDev

We've pushed an optional update for Highway Blossoms to the beta branch of the game. As with the other updates we've pushed, it'll most likely corrupt saves, which is why we're not setting it to the main branch of the game yet. Here's what it does: • Implemented small and medium sized screen device UI. Doesn’t affect Steam users except for some extreme cases where the OS might expose itself as a tablet or phone interface. If you're playing on a calculator, this is the update for you. • Fixed some sprite positioning errors caused by the previous patch’s ghosting fixes. It's a trickle-down bugfix process. • Fixed a ton of spelling and continuity errors thanks to the efforts of the Steam community. Marina no longer randomly gains and loses a sibling. • Added small notification in main menu to let you know if the adult content has been installed properly. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) • Implemented a slower but more robust saving system and a slightly reduced rollback limit to hopefully help with the constant save breaking. As stated, right now this is available as a beta update, which means that you have to opt-in to download it. To do that, find Highway Blossoms in your Steam library, right-click (or equivalent) on the title, and go to "Properties." Then, under the "betas" tab, choose "betafixes" from the drop-down menu at the top. You should immediately begin to download the patch. There is no password required. Like always, thank you very much for playing Highway Blossoms! ^.^
We had another update - this one is pretty small and won't break any saves (unless we did something horribly, horribly wrong). In addition to a super minor Tess positioning error, the main thing this update does is disable F.Skip, a function that allows you to skip to the next choice in a VN. This is a very useful feature for VN's that aren't Highway Blossoms, as apparently it causes crashes in games without choices. Our bad. Thanks to user bjiadokc who pointed out the issue. Pay your respects to F.Skip in the comments if you like.
Hi everyone, We have a smallish patch that fixes a few things; see below for the full list. Unfortunately, this one will definitely corrupt save files, as we changed the save directory, so you’ll need to restart the game. However, you can quickly get back to where you were by opening the in-game menu, changing the “Skip text” option to “Skip All Messages” (not just “read messages,” as the patch will reset what it thinks you’ve read before), and holding control. You can also press tab to toggle skip mode on/off. We apologize for the inconvenience. Highway Blossoms: The Definitive Version Until We Realize Something Else is Wrong -Corrects multiple typos and grammatical errors. We r good @ writng -Fixed an issue with some of the journal entries not triggering correctly. Amber is no longer clairvoyant and doesn’t randomly know where to go next. -Adjusts visual direction and smooths out sprite animation. Our programmer says we enabled subpixel, whatever that means ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ -Opening credits adjusted for consistency, and to actually properly credit everyone (Sorry Rosu!) -Adds CG gallery accessible from extras menu. Yes, it includes all installed CG’s ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) -Fixes issue of ghost sprites when skipping text. This is not a horror game. -Ambient sounds now cut out when they should. Leaving the engine running all through the Grand Canyon is bad for the environment. -Repaired Amber’s hand in one of the driving CG’s. She’s now shadier. -Broke your saves again

Highway Blossoms is a short yuri story set in the American Southwest. After an old gold rush miner's journal is discovered, supposedly detailing where he hid parts of his stash, a nationwide craze begins as would-be prospectors try to solve its clues and strike it rich.

- Grand, hand-painted vistas of actual landmarks in the western United States, all in glorious 1080p detail.
- A huge soundtrack featuring the works of Anna Logue, Jake Abernathie, Able Kirby, and other friends of AlienWorks. Sounds right at home on your in-dash cassette tape player.
- Accessibility options for days, including the ability to skip through everything in less than five minutes. But who would wanna do that?
- Achievements, although to be honest, they might be stretching the definition of "achievement."
- Alternate silly content for second readthroughs that AlienWorks let the programmer write. This may or may not have been a good idea.
