TripTrip Windows Patch
It's been a while
Hey there everyone! It's been a while. TripTrip's been out for almost 3 years now! Hard to believe.
Windows, y u do dis
Recently, it was brought to my attention that the game was only running at like 45fps instead of the 60fps it should have. That 45 fps is not just the framerate of the game, it's also the room speed in GameMaker - everything was running in slow motion! This made the game frighteningly easy... and we can't have that. But more importantly, it caused some stuff with very specific timings to stop working properly. If you're curious about the bug, there's some info about it over on YoyoGames' legacy GameMaker forums.
By the way...
As far as we know, no player has yet to reach the "Good Ending" of the game. This requires you to beat the game on Normal difficulty or higher after collecting all 9 bonus tokens. Check out this random screenshot from the Good ending. How crazy is this?!
It's pretty crazy. Whoa, check out this guy:
Who the heck is that? Guess you'll have to beat the Good Ending to find out. If you send a screenshot of you beating the game's Good Ending to the About Airplane Twitter, I'll give you a shoutout to this audience (small as it is). I may even subscribe to your Twitch or something. Who knows. We'll see!
Anyway
Thanks for playing our game to whatever capacity you did play it. I think this post shows up for Wishlisters too. If you Wishlisted this game, thanks for that too! You're great. Are you somehow reading this without having bought or wishlisted the game? You're great too. Everyone's great. Thanks, Zach Chief Airplane Officer About Airplane LLC
Hello everyone! TripTrip is available in the Lunar New Year sale for 66% off! I hear that the sale has some pretty cool events going on. While you're shopping around, head over to our store page to check out a new trailer we put together in time for this event. It shows off a lot more of the game's variety and features a super cool musical medley. The Moon makes a cameo in World 5 of TripTrip! Go pay your respects (while the skies around Shade Keep are clear anyway...) Happy Lunar New Year!
Hello friends! TripTrip has been out for two months now! The IndieGala bundle wrapped up recently and it was great to have so many players brought to our game. We hope everyone is having fun with it! After the bundle we crossed over 1000 steam activations. Obviously being in a bundle contributes a lot to that but it's really cool seeing so many people own the game. Thank you to everyone for joining us on the adventure of our first game release. After the bundle, we brought the price of the game down to $2.99. We think that this is a much better reflection of the game's value, particularly after just being available in a bundle. If you were on the fence about buying, now's a great time! Finally, we've uploaded most of the tracks from the soundtrack to our YouTube channel! Some of my personal favorite tracks are up there now like Semper Pergendum and An Ultimatum. Remember, if you like the soundtrack, it's available as DLC! That's all for now. Thanks for playing!
Hey there! TripTrip is included in a recent bundle from IndieGala, and with that we've had a huge number of key activations. Welcome to the party, I hope you enjoy the game :) In preparation for the IndieGala promotion, I did some work in the code to try to fix a long-running bug. If you played the game and experienced a random crash while fighting a boss or during the power unlock screen, I think we finally tracked down the cause of that. I haven't had one happen in a while! If you experience one starting today, please let us know so we can keep digging into it. And finally, don't forget about the soundtrack DLC ;) we love the soundtrack, and we think you will too! We've uploaded a few of the tracks on YouTube if you want a sample. So long!

Color-changing Action!
The main obstacle you face is the color of the floor as you roll through each level. You can change among four colors. You have a split second to switch colors as you move between two differently colored tiles.Vertical!
The Ball can jump! Not only is the floor dangerous because of colors, it can sometimes be dangerous because it isn't there! The Ball must collect "J Powerups" along the way to enable it to jump over gaps in the floor.Bosses!
As you make your way through the 20+ levels, you will encounter a boss at the end of each world. The bosses all have their own tricks and abilities - it'll take some skill and cunning to defeat each one.Difficulties!
We're not going to sugarcoat it - this game is not easy....unless you set it to Easy Mode! It's a good way to learn how to play the game, but you won't be able to discover certain secrets if you play the whole thing on Easy Mode. Beyond that, if you want to be a super cool guy or you really hate using Continues, Hard Mode is for you!Music!
The game features a catchy, authentic retro soundtrack with 16 tracks. You won't be able to stop whistlin' these tunez.Controls!
You can use either a keyboard or a controller to play the game. You can also rebind each key/button. WASD and arrow key fans rejoice!Unlockables!
