Hello everyone, here is another small bug fix update.
Fixed
If there are formatting issues with the settings file due to manual modifications, power outages or similar types of events while saving, the settings will now be reset to their default status rather than prevent loading the game.
Sveiki visi! Dabar turite galimyb aisti Radiis lietuvi kalba!
The main feature of this update is the addition of Lithuanian language support, but we've also taken the time to fix a few bugs and add some small quality of life improvements.
Added
Added Lithuanian language support.
You can now optionally disable edge scrolling.
When launching the game for the first time, you will have the option to choose your language.
Fixed
Corrected a few typos in English and French.
Progress is now automatically recovered from a backup file if the original file gets corrupted due to a power outage or similarly extreme event while saving.
Dropdowns with scroll bars should now scroll at a faster rate.
The title of a saved game's mission is now properly localized if the original saved game was saved on a different language.
If you encounter any issues with the newest version, you can revert to V1.1.0 by right clicking on "Radiis" in your library, going to the "Betas" and selecting "V1.1.0" from the dropdown. [ 2022-10-03 02:15:59 CET ][ Original post ]
Hello everyone,
Here is another update to the game. Most notably we added keybindings in the setting screen so that you can select what keys you are using if you have a different keyboard or simply don't like the current keys. We also patched a few small things. Enjoy!
Added
You can now choose which key you want to bind to which action.
Changed
The time of day is no longer reset when leaving the settings screen if no changes were made related to the day/night cycle.
It is no longer possible to save a game with no human players alive.
Fixed
Saving after restarting a game in which you were defeated no longer freezes the menu.
Hello everyone! Here's another update with some fixes.
The main thing we fixed was a problem with the indicator that shows when the player will obtain a tile next turn. When the population growth of one player was the same as the population damage of another player, this would falsely show that you will get the tile next turn. This is fixed now.
There was also some demand to disable the day/night cycle, so we added the option to set the time of day that you want in the gameplay settings for those who want to always play with the same time of day.
We slightly improved the time it takes to process turns, but there are still issues with performance on the CPU. We are still looking into what can be done to improve it.
Added
You can now choose to disable the day/night cycle and set the time of day you want.
Fixed
It will no longer show that you will get a tile if your population growth is the same as another player's population damage.
Under specific circumstances, it will no longer show that you will get a tile when you delete the building that would have made you gain the tile.
Fixed other special cases where it incorrectly shows that you should gain a tile next turn.
Slightly improved performance during AI's turns.
It's no longer possible to accidentally rotate the camera while selecting a value from a dropdown in the map editor.
The camera rotation is now reset when restarting a map
In the meantime, if you are able to easily run above 60FPS, try enabling vsync as this should reduce the usage of your CPU. [ 2018-07-27 00:44:04 CET ][ Original post ]
Hello everyone! We have made some more small fixes to the game.
The most notable one is reducing the difficulty of mission 5. A lot of people have been struggling with winning this map as it is significantly more difficult than the previous maps. We agree, so we added 2 fertile tiles to player 1 and removed 2 fertile tiles to both player 2 and 3. This should still keep the map a bit challenging, but more fair so that the player can ease-in better to the rest of the game.
However, we don't want to reduce the difficulty of maps often and we'll only do so if there is a very good reason to. At the end of the day, this is a strategy game and if every map can be won by mindless brute force, then there would be no satisfaction playing the game.
Regardless, we hope you guys keep enjoying Radiis!
Changed
Reduced the difficulty of mission 5.
Fixed
Clarified text when exiting the game from the in-game menu.
Fixed tile placement in mission 19.
We have more updates and fixes planned. Stay tuned! [ 2018-07-20 23:08:53 CET ][ Original post ]
