Hello everyone,
We wanted to let you know that, unfortunately, we will stop selling Evemnesis on the Steam Store. Due to many creative, personal and financial reasons, we can no longer keep updating the software, add more content to it or provide any support on this platform. You are still going to be able to play the game and should expect no change to the gameplay because Evemnesis is primarily a traditional single-player off-line experience. If you have questions or comments, you can still contact us at cloudscapegt@hotmail.com
The Steam Store has been a great learning experience for us and we hope that in the future we can return with more stories to tell. We sincerely would like to thank all of you who took a chance on us, supported and encouraged us, and helped us improve the game. Thank you so much!
Until next time,
Best wishes.
Hello everyone,
We have uploaded version 1.2 of Evemnesis! The update contains several changes (from stability issues to different audio effects). However, the most important improvement is the new User Interface and Writing Artifact, now you can write inside the main stages of the game from the start of the story!
To enable/disable the new User Interface, press the 'Esc' key (make sure to try all the available options).
The new Writing Artifact can be activated by using the [ - ] symbol on the User Interface.
Explore the Writing Artifact to discover new ways to interact with your writing and, most importantly, to create an image you'd want to share!
In addition to these changes, we have included several hidden areas in the game that will trigger a special effect that will motivate you to write (and to pay attention to certain objects).
Let us know if you find any issues with the update and don't forget to check out the updated Manual if you need more information.
Best regards.
Near the start of Evemnesis, the Cyclical Searching System lets you know where you are and what your mission is (more or less). The explanation reads that you are in a place where Beings go after...and then there is a [...]
After what?
Sometimes, the words not spoken are more suggestive than a clear message. Imagine we try to substitute the [] with a concept, how would that change our perception of that place?
After...a visit to another planet?
After...losing the ability to remember?
After...knowing a particular truth?
Maybe (?) later in the story the Cyclical Searching System will tell you what the [] means. Or maybe you will find out regardless of what the System decides to do. Or maybe
What do you think it means? And why is it a place of no return?
Best wishes.
If you could see one Life from above, what shape would you discover? What would be the path portrayed by the choices that were made and the challenges that were conquered? Heres a representation of such a figure. It is an image taken from an impossible angle inside the Cyclical System (and it is also a clue that might help you understand a couple of Lifetimes).
Hello everyone,
We have updated Evemnesis! The new version is 1.1. Here are the main changes:
The game now loads directly into the main screen and you can see the version of the game on the lower left corner.
The story at the beginning of the game no longer advances on its own. We have included a next button to give more control to the player (you can take any time you want to read the dialogue).
Lastly, we added the same type of dialogue-control described above to another section of the game. We will not give you specifics in case you haven't discovered that area. Hint:
Most of the fixes in the update are related to parts of the game where the player had to wait a couple of seconds to watch a brief cutscene or read dialogue. Some computers were taking more time than usual to execute the required actions. With version 1.1 we hope to create a more uniform experience across platforms.
Please let us know if you encounter any issues with the update! Write a comment here, post on the Community Hub or write us at support@cloudscapegt.com
Best regards.
Hello!
There are many out-of-place objects in Evemnesis. Some of them are more evident than others (we call them ‘lamps’). These ‘lamps’ are very important to the story of the game. Have you seen them? How many have you found?
Watch the new trailer to see one of these lamp-objects up close!
Best regards.
