1.1.8 Released

1.1.8 is here with more important UI fixes and balances to the game. We added 3 new and special items that have a 50% chance of dropping: Soul Essence, which gives the player +10 Health, Mana or Stamina when you kill an enemy. This should ease up the difficulty in the lower levels. A new theme has been added: purple and gold. The UI has been improved in several areas, most importantly the menus with lists will scroll when you highlight any button now.

  • Controller issues fixed (many of them) cursor no longer displays when you have controller plugged in, fixed controller not working in some menus


BALANCE:


  • Stamina fix, when your character hits 10 or less stamina a timer kicks in after 4 seconds to regen +7 stamina for 2 seconds to ensure you don't die as easily
  • Druid Class Level 1 attack speed increased
  • Sabertooth Lyger Party Unit adjustment to attack speed and endurance (stamina)

Crescent Hollow - Update 1.1.1 Early Access update 1.1.1 contains more much needed improvements and bug fixes. We wouldve liked to have more content in this update but polish takes precedent. Version 1.1.2 should be the mega update with tons of new content, and pushes the main story forward. NEW FEATURES:
Druid Shape-Shifting added, wolf is the first power for now (Wolf gives a +3 Agility (Movement Speed), and +3 Strength (Damage). You can do a melee attack with the wolf BIG FIXES/IMPROVEMENTS:

BETA 1.0.4 RELEASED (Age of Exploration)

The Age of Exploration Begins! This update adds much needed content and fixes. Going forward (1.0.5+), we will be rapid releasing updates now that 1.0.4 is out of the way. NEW FEATURES/CONTENT:
Engineer crafting table now available (Create naval ship, airship, upgrade ship, etc.)
You can create a naval ship from the engineer crafting table (Go to any dock in the "ground overworld map" to activate the naval ship). You can create an airship from the engineer crafting table.(Transforms into airship from the ocean after your in naval ship mode) You can fly up to the Sky Overworld map once you transform into an airship now
You can customize your ships sail from the engineer crafting table. (Changes for both naval and airship)


New maps/continents (Desert, Jungle, Mesa, Volcanic) New enemy AI types and new enemies (Part 2)
NEW ENEMY TYPES: The Desert enemies are now complete. The Jungle enemies are 50% complete. The Volcanic enemies are now 25% complete. The mesa, volcanic, and jungle will have plenty more enemies placed in the next update or two. Along with the new enemies, comes new enemy types. The new enemy types can fire off 2-3 attacks if need be, and can fire elemental projectiles, and/or arrows . Additionally the enemy attacks will now random roll if the enemy attack pool max is set above 1. Lastly the damage random rolls as well (Min to maximum attack range for every damage type)!

We wanted everyone to know development is coming along for BETA 1.0.4, we have a huge list of content and improvements: NEW FEATURES:

What is Crescent Hollow?

Crescent Hollow is an Action RPG, (2D Top Down Orthogonal).
"As above, so below, discover the mysteries of the hollow". Step into the world of Anthropia where you can dynamically change the world environment. Will you help the empires of the world, or destroy them? Four different classes with unique stories, and around a dozen party units to summon at the barracks. (Build your own Empire, Custom Party, Deep character stories + Couch COOP)

Crescent Hollow has been in development since 2015 and is a handcrafted game from the ground up with custom art, music, sound design, and code.


There are currently 4 classes to choose from: Airship Pirate, Ninja, Druid, or Dark Knight. All 4 classes have unique custom animations, have their own unique intro story, and wield around 4-6 powers for now. (Every class has 4 powers except Ninja which has 6 powers currently) That's right, you read correctly, all 4 characters have their own intro stories (Chapter 1) to ensure full immersion with each character. (*Please not that the Ninja and Airship Pirate have the most gameplay at the moment, 2-3 hours per character and the Dark Knight and the Druid have less about 1-2 hours so far, all of this is a ton of gameplay and lots of work to get it here)



Real-time action combat, (Every class has 4 powers except Ninja which has 6 powers currently). The Ninja and Airship Pirate have 4 melee attacks to unlock and the Dark knight and Druid have only 1 (Unlocked by default).



Harvest items from plants, trees, enemies, etc. Craft potions from the alchemy station, cook food from the campfire. Gather wood, stone, and ore to build your empire from the ground up (Resources are not required for build mode in BETA phase 1). The build system ties into the games main story quest, it will all make sense as you play. The build mode is easy to find and test East of the Dark Knight starter area and South of Druid starter area.





Dynamic airship battle system that allows you to experience real-time combat in the skies.



30+ fully animated creatures in the game, some of them can be gained via quests and can be commanded with command scrolls, then summoned at the barracks. (*not all enemies can be turned into party units. (Currently only green slime, wolf, & bear are commandable) When you buy command scrolls at the barracks, and then use a command scroll, it has a 15% chance of sucking the soul of special enemies in, then it turns into a command card. From there you can summon that particular creature at the barracks. Did we mention plenty of crazy bosses to fight!




Three controllable party members called "Party Units", mix and match them, level them up. The barracks buildings can be found in any major Empire or town, and is used to summon your party units. *Each class starts off with their own unique party units that either start with them based on quest or can be summoned at the barracks.



Experience combat with up to four friends local COOP.



About a dozen biomes, each highly detailed and fleshed out. Multiple overworld maps. Explore the islands of the seas and the skies.



The day/night cycle is connected to a global clock. There is also a calendar that keeps track of the day of each month so that events can be triggered with a future release. As day turns into night it becomes especially dangerous as there are exclusive nighttime creatures that spawn all throughout the world.


Complex, yet comprehensive stat system, complete with resists for player, party and enemy.

VITALITY – Health Pool and Regen
