Hello Folks!

People, I have some great news for you! I'm happy to announce I have decided to start polishing Slab and add a few updates in the near future, the first has arrived today. The second thing important to tell you the price of the Slab is now $3,99!

Changelog of version 3.0:

Update the game engine to the latest versions, the game has better performance
Support for M1 Chip (MacOS)
The speed of the ball decreased
Allow controlling the paddle by the keyboard
Fix the irritating bug with a disappearing ball
The leaderboards were removed because a lot of people try to cheat
Fix duplicates of resolutions in settings
The paddle speed in settings means now the speed of the paddle when you are controlled by the keyboard.
The speed of the paddle depends now on the sensitivity of your OS when you are controlling by mouse
Fix the behavior of bullets when they hit the top collider
Small fixes of UI
Small fixes for Linux

New levels were added! - Version 2.0

Hello community, I've added new 20 levels to slab, and it's the last update with levels! I added features listed below: - 20 levels - 20 achievements - exploding color now based on brick color - ball speed was increased by 20% - max ball speed was increased by 10% - power ups falling speed was increased by 100% - new build on linux with x86_64 architecture Enjoy! :D

Version 1.2 with Linux + SteamOS

Hello, I released a new big version of Slab for Windows, Mac and Linux + Steam OS. Changelog: - Magnetic bug should not come back - New five tracks of audio were added - Support Linux + Steam OS, if you see any bugs please let me know - The bug with losting mouse focus on two monitors should be fixed - A little small bugs were fixed and little features were added In near future I will added more levels to the game, be patient. Please add a steam review for my game after when you play, I will be very gratefull. Enjoy!

Slab is an arcade game inspired by Breakout and Arkanoid in which the main task is destroy slabs and bricks. The player controls a horizontally moving paddle to ricochet the ball against the slabs and destroy them.

At the beginning the player has 3 hearts in the top left corner, he can increase number of hearts by "Add Life" power up. When the player misses the ball or catch "Instant Death" power up he lose one life.

In the game we have a lot of custom bricks with a several stages of breaking up for example "Rainbow Bricks", "Pink Bricks", "Standard Bricks". And bricks which you cannot destroy without Plasma Gun "Grey Bricks".

The game has 30 different levels with high difficulty (as in good old games).

The player can use a lot of power ups to speed up the ball, pierces block or expand and shrink the paddle. In the game we have three size of ball, dozen of types slabs, bricks.

Slab has very precision paddle! If you like classic childhood games, check it out!
