On Sale this week for 50% off

Get it for just $1.99

Also, recent changes to the Steam Review System have moved us from Mostly Positive down to Mixed in the ratings. We think we've done a good job addressing all the legitimate complaints (and there were quite a few) with the updated version and with Episode 2. If you haven't reviewed it yet, please consider adding your thoughts and let us know if we still have more work to do or if you think we've done a good job listening and responding to feedback.

Your opinion matters and it can help convince people to buy or not to buy the product. We just want the reviews to reflect the current state of the release as much as possible.

Thanks for all your support and for helping us make this better and better.

Episode 2 is now available as a free update

If you update your game and then run it, you should be presented with an option to replay Episode 1 or go straight to Episode 2. I read all of the user reviews and I greatly appreciate the feedback on Episode 1. I would love to hear additional feedback on Episode 2.

While not all of the artwork for Episode 2 is brand new, there are several new scenes which use a more dynamic style more commonly found in visual novels.

Episode 2 continues the story of Detective Harvey Jenkins, as he takes on another case in the Big Easy. Several characters from Episode 1 make an appearance and you start learning a little more about Harvey and what makes him different.

Episode 2 is in the works and will be a free addition

We have the story written for the second case and we will be adding that as soon as we get everything pulled together. Originally, we were planning on releasing these as individual products, but we've reconsidered and will be adding them as free upgrades to the original purchase.

The stories are written in a style similar to what you would experience in an RPG game, and therefore we think the second story will greatly expand upon Harvey Jenkins and the many other characters in the first story.

There will be a new menu at the start asking which Episode you want to play through. We highly recommend reading through them in order.

Quick patch to fix download issue

The package was pointing to the wrong depot and this caused the game to show as "Installed" and ready to "Play" before it downloaded anything. Please Delete Local Content and re-install to pick up the files. The total file download should be 196 MB.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Now Available on Steam - Deadlands Noir - That Old Time Religion, 10% off!

Deadlands Noir - That Old Time Religion is Now Available on Steam and is 10% off!*

A Visual Novel set in the Deadlands Noir RPG Setting from Savage Worlds.

New Orleans, 1935. Whoever called this "The Big Easy" sure got that one wrong. Things are tough all over. Honest work is hard to find, and even dishonest jobs are getting scarce. The one thing that's not in short supply is trouble. From shady thugs to crooked cops to mafia soldiers, there's plenty of characters out there looking to give an honest Joe a hard time. And that's not the worst of it.

There are stories going round about things that go bump in the night. Things you wouldn't want to meet in a dark alley on a darker night. And those stories aren't just coming from rummies or saps who read that epitaph rag.

Still, there are a few heroes left in the concrete jungle. Steely-eyed private dicks, fast-talking grifters, wild-eyed inventors, and shadowy houngans still struggle against the encroaching darkness. With enough moxie--and more than a little luck--they might just be enough to turn the tide.

This is just one story. The story of Harvey Jenkins, Private Investigator.

*Offer ends July 10 at 10AM Pacific Time
