Greetings guys! First of all, thank you for your constant feedback about General Practioner and its issues. I am aware someone believes I abandoned the game, but that is NOT the case. However, I remind you that I'm working on this project on my own, and that there is no studio supporting my work as it relies on players only. That said, I'm receiving reports I'm going to address, so you know what's going on right now. GAME NOT STARTING Some of you complied about the game not starting overnight. I already tried to start the game from Steam myself, and it works fine. It looks like some configurations have had issues when starting the game, and I'm working on understanding what's going on. You understand that with NO ERROR REPORTS nor every available computer, it is going to take some time for me to understand the issue, which only affects a very rare minority of people, as right now some hundreds of you are playing it (if it was an issue with the game I would have 100% refunds AND 0 people playing, which is not happening). THE GAME ENGINE As many Visual Novels, General Practitioner is written in Ren'Py, which has been recently updated to its latest patch. This might have caused some issues, which caused me to revert to the previous GP's patch. While I apologize for the issue this caused to some of you, I cannot speed up the process of releasing a patch for the engine, as I'm not its proprietor. I am going to recompile it once more and release a small fix for both GP and Yomi Alliance, and I WILL NEED YOUR REPORTS to know if it's fixing the problem (with achievements as well). Steam also changed its integrated library recently. As usual, you do understand this huge game has been made by myself only, so I rely on the documentation from both Steam and Ren'Py to make it work. It's entirely in my skills, but it will take some time. MISSING FILES Every time you check for the file integrity you get 100+ files "missing" or needed to be redownloaded. THIS IS WORKING AS INTENDED because of the game's engine, as it writes temporary files every time the game is launched, which of course then differs from the ones in Steam's main repository. This doesn't cause ANY issue with the game, it's not a bug, nor it affects anything, and doesn't mean the game is broken in any way. When you leave a negative review about it, remind that you are basically telling people my game's bad because of some temporary files. You are free to check that the same happens with every ren'py-based Visual Novel out there. COVID IN ITALY The current situation with COVID-19 restrictions in italy severely impacts on my family, thus making it harder to to everything in time. I had to reschedule my next game's launch, a couple patches with Yomi Alliance and voice actors, the creation of my Patreon page AND General Practitioner's next FREE update. I apologize for this, I truly do, but I don't know how to make it better, since it's not my choice to lock us away like they're doing. This also hugely impacted my earnings, as well as many people out there. My studio is VERY small (myself only) but I feed my family with it, and of course the budget for my next games (a new Unity-based engine, CGI, interactions) was impacted as well. I was going to launch a kickstarter for my newest projects, but that's out of the question now, since everyone is having a hard time because of the pandemic. DELAYS AND REFUNDS I apologize for any delay in my projects. And I would understand if you like a refund for the game. You can always contact me in my email development[at]brunimultimedia.com, if you disliked the game A LOT, leaving a negative review even after 100+ hours and Steam won't refund it, contact me and I'll send you money via Paypal. I started this job to entertain people and form a nice community around my games, not to fool them or take their money without giving anything in return. Even if you liked my game but still want a refund, be my guest. Really.

Live the everyday life of a General Practitioner: go to the clinic every day and meet new patients, develop your skills through study and manage your clinic and your staff. With dozens of items to buy and an always short budget will you be able to treat your patients in the best way?
Deep and engaging narration
General Practitioner features a very long and deep storyline which will take you in a world of mistery and deception. Explore the game's main story while enjoying the other activities available in town. The whole game contains more than 40 hours of gameplay and it's growing update after update!
You decide your own fate
Choices in dialogues and situations really matter! With more than 100 choices to make both in the Main Story and in medical exams you'll experience the consequences of your actions (and in-actions as well). You decide your own fate, do you have what it takes to be a General Practitioner?
Meet new people
The built-in romance system allows you to hang out with dozens of characters of both genders, jog with them at the local park, play a bowling game, relax at the local spa. If you are smart enough you can even make them fall in love with you and ask them to live together, unlocking special conversations and events with them.
You won't know if the date will go well or not, because that depends on fate (and your choices and comfort level of the other one). The more you build up your date's confidence the more chance of success you will have.
Each character you date has a pool different characteristics (i.e. people they like/dislike, favourite foods, informations about their family or job etc.). You'll randomly get to know a different characteristic each time a date will go well and, since they're random, they will be different each time you play General Practitioner or load a save game.
Each patient is different
With a pool of more than 90 scripted patients also comes a random examination system!
Simply put: each time you play the exams will be different. From a pool of 60 diseases and five different patient's archetipes (Children, Teenagers, Young Adults, Adults and Elders) you won't get the very same situation twice!
Medical accuracy
Developed with the help of a real MD, the game features medical informations that are accurate and up-to-date. Please do not take medical informations other than for having fun in the game. If you experience some medical concern ask your doctor as soon as possible.
Original Soundtrack
Ann Sharova (Zup6!, Just Ski, Ezmir: The Last War and many others) composed a soundtrack with 12 different scores to accompany you in your trip as Chief Practitioner of St. Mary's Clinic.
You can hear some work from Ann on her Youtube Channel , or on her SoundCloud . A Youtube reel is also available.
