The Last Train (tuxdb.com)

We have been working on a huge update to The Last Train. This difficult pandemic period has given us an opportunity to look back at one of the most important games that we as a studio have worked on. Over the last fewmonths we decided it would be a great time to revisit the game and try to improve many different aspects of the gameplay and the story. Revisiting the game again gave us the opportunity to add new things we wanted to implement during development. We've also made many new quality of life improvements, bug fixes and most importantly listened to community feedback and implemented it. Some of the major changes included are:

Added random encounters in different stations
Added a female voice over if you choose to play as a female character
Every time you choose to drop a passenger halfway through the journey, you will have to be preparedto deal with the consequences
Balancing fixes to the food, crafting, fuel, trains, etc
Added over 99 new cooking recipes
Removed the lockpick mini game
You can now open all the trash cans with no tools
Improved the quality of the art assets
Added 64 bit support for Mac users
All the trains are now only cosmetically different, so it doesn't give the players unfair gameplay advantages
Made it easier to pick passengers from the station
Re-balanced the coal rewards from passenger and scavenging
Improved thepacing and progression of the story
The upgrade system has been improved drastically
Added a fewtutorial prompts to introduce you to the radiation zone
Streamlined the leaderboard options in the Sandbox mode
See your previous best score and your current score in Sandbox mode
Added a new achievements to the game

The Last Train is a Survival Adventure Game where you take the role of one of the last surviving train pilot in a post world War 2 America. The game is set in Alternate History, post the Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombings. In this emotional journey, the story explores how war affects ordinary citizens who want to go about their day to day lives, not just the brave soldiers who fight on the front lines. As a train pilot you are tasked to go around the country to help as many people as you can. Will you help the remaining survivors reach their families, help the terminally ill or will you be greedy and make the most out of the dire situation by hoarding all the supplies you get from them? All the decisions that you take will shape the story and affect the world around you.
