In the Clan, quests are used to accumulate clan fund and the leader can spend the fund to upgrade his clan, such as creating some buildings and learning other technologies. Clan will lose certain amount of fund daily, and insufficient funds will degrade or dismiss the clan. What's more, there is Clan Boss in Clan system, which you could use the food to upgrade it to receive the rewards!
