AV-17 is a FREE 2D action platformer inspired by information technology and BUBBLE BOBBLE!! You play as A.V. (anti-virus) tasked with cleaning up a highly infected system until you can locate The Source of the infection! Good luck, this system has not been patched in a while!

With a K.I.S.S mentality to game design, AV-17 is easy to learn and fun to play, by yourself or with a friend sitting next to you.

Hello All,

Thanks to everyone who has left feedback through reviews and discussions. And another thanks to everyone posting screen shots of your experiences in AV-17. Keep'em coming!

I have just released v1.0.0.1 of AV-17, which includes:---------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. 5 New Steam Achievements! Try your best to defeat every boss, including The Source!

2. The game will now pause when the Steam overlay is active, except when at the title and main menu screen where it's not needed.

3. Modified some of the language used during the tutorial. Made is clear that you CAN DASH THROUGH ENEMIES AND PROJECTILES to avoid damage. Sorry for the caps, but for those that don't like playing through tutorials more than once, that is the highlight.

[Clarification Section - Hopefully This Helps A Few Players]--------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1. You can dash by pressing left shift or the left trigger on the controller while already moving. There is no need to stop and press a direction + dash key.
2. You can jump by pressing the W key or A button on the controller while moving. There is no need to stop, press jump, and then a direction.
3. Single Core (1 Player) and Dual Core (2 Player). This was my attempt at CPU architecture humor.
4. There is a README file downloaded with the game.
5. Pressing ENTER on the keyboard is an alternative way to fire the scan gun for those that don't like using the left mouse button. This is stated in the README.

Again, I want to thank everyone for their feedback and their support of AV-17. I hope to keep updating this game in the future to make improvements and add content. Though, there is no ETA. Sorry this update is long winded.
