As to some funny data The Championship Phase shaped as follows: 1. 148 rubies were gathered throughout the quarter finals, semi finals and in the Grand Final. 2. The shortest match in the Championship Phase took 16 rounds, the longest 20 rounds - and they were five players matches, mind. 3. The average number of rounds was 17.5. 3. The most wins went to the red player, that includes, quite fittingly, the Grand Final. And finally, the prizes! Amongst the spoils were 40 codes for our various games, and thanks to the generosity of our friends at Pegasus Spiele, two Istanbul Big Boxes and two regular Istanbul tabletop game boxes are being sent to the finalists. Istanbul: Digital Edition Online Tournament sign-ups are officially closed! And phew In our wildest dreams we did not expect THAT beast of a turn out! 159 participants. One hundred and fifty nine! You people are the best, and we are so happy to have the opportunity to organize an event for such an amazing community. Thank you! Now, the order of business! We have to, obviously, process all the applications and figure out the kinks. We have a lot of processing and planning to do (and thats awesome!), a lot more than we ever expected, so we reserve a week for that. Prepare your wheelbarrows and count your goods, the merchants are about to hit the market. There are prizes to be won, and the renown of the best of all the merchants to be claimed. We here at Acram Digital and Mobo Studio, the developer and publisher of Istanbul: Digital Edition, would like to cordially invite any and all interested to the online tournament of Istanbul: Digital Edition. Everyone is invited, whether youve never played Istanbul before or are a veteran with more hours played than the hours awake, the goal is to have fun. There will, however, be prizes... The prize pool includes physical copies of Istanbul board game, provided by Pegasus Spiele and Alderac Entertainment Group, including the Big Box (containing the base game and the expansions), as well as codes for our digital games for the platform of your choosing. Your goal - acquire a set amount of Rubies in order to win the game. In order to do that, you need to manage yourself - a merchant, and your assistants, who are crucial for the player to take any actions. Merchants are the brains behind the entire operation, but you also need grunts to do deal with the details after all. The players will acquire goods that they can trade for rubies, use as bribes or sell for coin. They can upgrade their cart to carry more goods at a time or even free their mischievous relative from jail, to then use them as a free agent. Finally a player can decide they feel lucky and try their hand at gambling for goods. This is a fantastic game for all of you board game fans who wish to play easily on your PC, Mac or Linux. And if you like it, its also available on iOS and Android mobile devices.
