Version 1.7 is now up on the main branch, thank you for your feedback! We did some changes during the experimental period, let's see what new QoL features I added!
Hyperlinks
As I anticipated with last news, this updates adds hyperlinks to all Agepedia elements. You can now highlight colored keywords to read the element description, and directly access the Agepedia from them. Also, this works with a controller, allowing you to access the hyperlinks on your Steam Deck (and soon on Switch)
New settings & Views
Many new settings added with 1.7 let you customize your experience, so take a look at the updated settings screen! Also, I added a new 'Actions' tab on the top right, as well as new advanced views to show all resources on the map.
Advanced Contextual Actions
During the last news I mentioned the addition of Auto-Cast and Production-Lock.
Auto-Cast lets you hold a key (default: X) while selecting a building action to set the building to keep repeating that action as needed.
You can also force-assign it (default: CTRL + X), so it will try to remove Pips from their jobs!

Production-locking allows you to lock a building on a specific production, so they won't switch to other productions.

In these last weeks I also added more similar features! There is now a new action called "Globalize" (default hotkey: 'G'), which allows you to apply the same action to all buildings. No more curing each single condition!

Also, all the contextual advanced actions are now visible in a new panel on the bottom right, so that you can more easily view their status and also interact with them without using hotkeys. This also makes them accessible to controllers, and of course Steam Deck users!
Updated Steam Deck Layout
Speaking of Steam Deck users, take a look at the new official layout in Steam Input, which now also uses the back buttons. When playing with a controller, I suggest to turn on "free camera" if you have not done so in the settings, as the experience of zooming is much better that way!

Switch & GOG
Also, both Switch and GOG versions of Folkways are now live as I anticipated a couple of weeks ago, so thank you for your patience and go grab the expansion if you use these platforms!
Now that Folkways is out for both versions, the next versions will be easier to push thru, so expect both of them to get 1.7 in the coming weeks.
Now what?
With 1.7 out of the way (and if I can resist the urge to add some more QoL first), I'll start working on the next big update after I finish porting 1.7, it will take a while as I want to test various things tied to the research tree!

- Granite Mine: output from 6 every 2 turns to 5 every 2 turns
- Granite Mine: can no more Upgrade to Stonemason's Hut, Power Saw, or Quarry
- Compressor: it is now an upgrade unique to Granite Mine
- Deforested Area: no more an upgrade of anything as it made no sense

- Dad: Woodpips won't auto-switch to the next cutting area anymore (only these buildings avoid that logic, for now)
- Dad: Lumber Factory is now a variation of Clear Forest
- Dad: Stone Extractor is now garaunteed to appear
- Dad: Hay research path is now garaunteed to appear
- Dad: Dad is not required to destroy or build his toolshed

- Memories: Unlock a new research path mid-run will not make the new buildings appear if prior buildings have been already selected

- Water Diet, Hemp Diet, Seed Diet: Now requires 5 Pipfolk to be in the village to appear (this avoids it appearing for Dwarves)
