Hi everyone,
A few people have mentioned issues regarding collisions and the controls feeling slightly too slippery. Most of the issues seemed to be in levels 1-2 and 1-3.
I just released a patch that addresses those concerns. This patch affects both Windows and Linux builds.
Changes:
- Increased friction a bit, so the player stops more quickly, allowing more precise platforming
- Adjusted collision boxes of various walls and spikes that were causing trouble
Just connect a second controller, and press the Jump button on it during a level. A second player will be able to play as the Bootworm from the Bootworm Racing minigame.
This can be especially useful for the tougher trophies, like "Low-Level Run" or "Remix Mode complete".
The Bootworm is invincible, so although it only deals a little damage at a time, it can help give you a slight edge in boss battles and tough levels.
Hi everyone,
I've written a strategy guide for Emerald Shores ahead of the game's release.
This guide will show you the locations of all of the hidden items in the game. It also tells you how to unlock the many secret levels, minigames and sidequests.
If you're struggling with a boss battle, it also gives some pointers on those.

Hope you enjoy the game. :)
Emerald Shores is a challenging SNES-inspired platformer with a bunch of twists. Level up, take on rewarding sidequests, play unique minigames, unlock secret levels, raise a pet monster, fight an optional mega-leveled beast of a boss, and more!
Travel across a huge world map as you find your way to the floating island of Emerald Shores and liberate it from the invading monsters.
When you've completed the main storyline, take on Remix Mode, which rearranges each of the game's levels to be even more brutal.
