These are badges players can unlock by completing the campaign. What do the badges do? Honestly, they exist purely for bragging rights a2. There are 4 badges available for each difficulty. 3 badges to represent the 3 endings, then the 4th one will showcase your highest rank under that mode. For example, in the above screenshot, I have achieved S-rank on Dark Mode. Of course, once the challenge modes update rolls in, the most boast-worthy icons will be the 4 linked to Chaos+. Please be warned, though. Best ending on Chaos+? That would mean you must backtrack between levels while surrounded by extremely aggressive foes, and you barely have any candles. A few notes: - As several players have asked, yes, you can unlock the Invisible Cloak, then use that to cheese through Chaos+. This means, once you have the Invisible Cloak, you can unlock all the badges with ease.
