Early Access Week 6
It's been a productive week and we're happy to bring you two new puzzles:
Avalanche is a combination of turn-based gameplay mixed with short bursts of action. It's a fun puzzle where the goal is to eliminate the gray spheres by encircling them.
Hex is a new variation of the Lights Out puzzle. The player can choose from one of the 159 possible moves at any time and the longest solution takes 7 moves. Ignoring repeated moves, that's approximately 2247099545330640 possibilities... This one was a doozy, but I'm glad to say that we managed to get it solved. By solved I mean completely solved, by checking every possible configuration (in case you were wondering there are 2^19 of them).
You may notice that the game now features a new and specially edited track from L'autre Endroit. The Stop song was always excluded from the game in fact, it was censored from the original Chains! Shutouts to Silence for producing such an awesome album. http://www.vincentgires.com/
The game's interface now works in a more friendly manner. Additionally, I have redesigned some of the typography making the game's objectives and progress much clearer. These are small and subtle changes but I think the results are worth it and as you can see from the screenshots:

That's right folks! Super Chains is one of the first games on Steam to enter Early Access... TWICE!!!

Super Chains is the sequel and long awaited follow-up to the classic puzzler Chains from 2008. An entire decade has passed, yet the object of the game remains deceptively simple: Connect three or more spheres of the same color into chains... but beware! The rules and difficulty ramp up quickly, so thinking outside of the box is necessary in order to advance. Those who just want to relax, can retreat to one of the zen-inducing puzzles that focus on matching or flow. Everyone is bound to have a good time in Super Chains!
