Various changes have been made :
Unfortunately, recompiling didn't work, so the Linux version is slightly older than the Windows version now, until I get a chance to update it properly.
The weird error message still came up, so hopefull this will fix it
By popular request, the date achievement will now activate when starting a game, instead of on the appropriate date In addition, the title screen menus have been updated. Misericordia's phone call isn't obscured by the text area. As I haven't had any reports to the contrary, I'm going to assume the Mac versions across all episodes are fine, and leave things as they are
Due to Valve requiring Mac apps to be notarised, Steam versions will be removed from here shortly. They will still be available from other sites (DLsite, Kartridge and Itch, for example). In addition, there will shortly be a small update to make the recap section available
This is a rather more substantial update, although there are a few things left to do. Fixed some spelling errors; chapter names now have an animated background; PC Swirl graphic has been updated and finally correct fading in of in-game GUI after chapter name has been displayed

This is a very slight update, and has only been released due to the fact I'll be working on releasing No Extra Regrets, and won't be able to continue with this one for a while. First of all, there are new title menus and in-game GUI. The logo animation has also been updated. In keeping with other versions, all characters have now had the excess space removed. However, silhouettes have not had this process done yet, and so will be out of position when they talk. This will be fixed when I get time to resume updating.

An update has been started to bring the gender selection screen up-to-date with later episodes. In addition, some spelling and grammatical errors will be fixed. I would like to add animated cue cards as well, but I may leave that for another time
WTC 1 has now been updated slightly, ready for when NightFall is released at the end of 2021. I hope to be able to do one very final update for this, possibly around the middle of 2021 which will add a few currently missing features. This update has a new gender (and mode) selection screen, and fixes a few name display errors from the last update, Most importantly of all, the DLC's will be retired and are now in the main game
An update has started for this visual novel, and will most likely be the last one. It'll add a few new scenes, which take into account options from WTC 2 - Part III It'll also fix a couple of naming errors that slipped by during the transition to multi-persistent names. No idea when it will be released - hopefully before the end of the year
The silhouettes have been updated and the main menu now uses the same icons that WTC OVN 3 and No Regrets use. There are a few more graphical enhancements I may do later, once everything has been released.
There has been a slight update to this, to bring it slightly up-to-date with the later versions :
The last update for this episode is now out. It now features three prologues, an updated end credit sequence and a couple of new achievements.
Finally, WTC 1 has been updated ! This update has the following :
The update for WTC 1 has been started (in between doing other episodes), and there will be a few changes when it will be released :
In celebration of WTC 1 being one year old, I've started updating the graphics on the Steam page, with an eye to update the story properly later in the year as previously mentioned. There are various graphics I want to add, specifically for the Idiot's Guide DLC, which will hopefully be added without any problems. I must admit, this episode hasn't had the attention that others have had, unfortunately, so hopefully, that will be rectified with the update.
This is a fairly small update, the first of either two or three, and consists of :
I hope to update this game sometime next year, due to the fact that I am now working on Welcome To... Chichester 2 - Part III : Nightfall
The final update to WTC 1 (barring any serious problems) has now been released. Updates include :
I'm hoping the last update for Welcome To... Chichester 1/Redux will be out between the end of this week and the end of the month. Adding in protagonist characters has nearly been completed, after which scene transitions will be added, and maybe an extra achievement or two
The last few incorrect gender assignments will be fixed in the next update - this won't be for a month or so though. I will also adding in the protagonist graphics and possibly more visibility settings for those with reading problems. At the moment, it's being implemented in NRFTF
Don't like getting into a fight with Grendel ? With this update, you now have the option to skip the Boss Fight section. You could miss out on several achievements though (although you do gain one if you cheat)
After 7 or so months, this visual novel has finally received the update it deserves ! The new version includes :
The new update is the first of two main updates. Most, but not all of the new backgrounds have been added, the boss fight has been changed somewhat, along with a bit of the story. The main reason for this release was to update the achievement system, which hopefully should be better now. One important thing to note : The Gallery and Scene jump is only partially working. The graphics for that will be updated when the last of the backgrounds have been completed. If you find any problems, please let me know !
It looks like the upgrade will be delayed for several months now (due to one of the backgrounds being rather complex), so hopefully it'll be available by November/December
The Boss Fight section is being somewhat upgraded to make it slightly faster.
I hope to have the last update (along with a small DLC) by the end of August 2019. There will be a slight change in the dialogue, but nothing major.
The update is going well. There are approximately 6 backgrounds to be replaced, 1 to be added (wasn't in originally due to many problems with it) and 1 for the DLC that will be coming just after the update. The alternative timeline ending has been changed significantly (and gets rid of a bit of a story oddity). In addition, there are a few extra changes when choosing this option more than once.
I'm hoping this side-story will be out by the end of May
The update for WTC Redux has started, but won't be completed for a long while yet. There will also be a small DLC for it later on too.
You'll be pleased to know that the Kickstarter has now started for Welcome To... Chichester 3 ! If you would like to donate to it, click on the link here
KittyVisualNovels was kind enough to point out that there was no information regarding the relationships between the organisations in the trilogy, and so the next update will have a short intro when you start a new game. The store description has already been updated. In addition, the point of view in the "Secrets" chapter is wrong and will be updated accordingly, and the background for one chapter near the end is displayed at the wrong time
After many months coding (and quite a few artistic problems), I've finally released Welcome To... Chichester Redux. Initially set two years before the sequel, you find out how (and why) the protagonist end up in England. The story is around 2 - 3 hours long
