Version 1.3 Update

Thank you for your patience! SSWK version 1.3 has been released. If you haven't played or bought the game yet, now is the perfect time to do so. Additionally, if you played the game in the past but didn't like the main character's personality, we'd be happy if you gave the game another try with one of the other three options--after all, this update was made for you! https://store.steampowered.com/app/933230/Signed_and_Sealed_With_a_Kiss/?beta=0 Change log:

• 4 MC personality choices: this may affect dialogue, plot, and choice branches to varying degrees
• 4 new achievements
• Base Boyfriend can now follow any career to completion
• 1 additional random event for each personality (note: must have mature content enabled)
• Additional choices added to several branches
• New scene variations based on your & BF's names, and some other minor factors
• Sub/dom options for sexy scenes (note that these are not always 1-to-1 variations; we focused on matching the options to the pre-existing CGs)
• New choice branches allowing you to stop sexy encounters at certain points
• ~2-5 hours total of additional content added to the game
• Several missing/broken pronoun variables have been fixed
• Many, many typo & grammar fixes
• Many reworded/rewritten lines for better flow and/or clearer meanings
• Phone graphic while making various phone calls
• Color-coded daily diary choices
• More SFX, screen shakes, etc. added to some scenes
• Regular text color changed to hopefully be more easily readable

With the size of this update, we expect that there will be missed bugs & typos, and we'd appreciate any user reports on these. We expect to release at least 1 "clean-up" patch for this update by the end of next week, including fixing up a couple of extra text-related changes we wanted to include but didn't have enough time for, so any minor fixes will be rolled into that. We also expect that there will be additional dialogue variations added for MC personalities over time, for the places we felt we didn't have enough time to properly flesh out our ideas.

Kickstarter Campaign

Wed also like to announce that well be holding a fairly basic, straightforward Kickstarter campaign for SSWK starting on May 18th or 19th. Wed like to raise the funds to hire assistant writers to speed up the process of making the necessary compatibility changes to the Expansion Pack so we can release it ASAP, without the huge delays 1.3 faced due to the game's structural changes. * If you've already purchased the game, there's no particular benefit to ordering it again on Kickstarter -- they will not be getting any exclusive content, although we will have some returning & brand-new physical goods available there. However, we would greatly appreciate any shares about the campaign on social media once it launches. In the meantime, if youd like to show your support, you can follow the campaign right here! Thank you! * Talking as myself for this explanation: SSWK has essentially been a passion project. Even one year after launch, I am still footing development costs out-of-pocket because of the immense size of the project and comparatively low purchase price. The idea behind the project was always to be an accessible one, so I do not regret pricing it as such, even now. I have /personally/ still not seen a penny for my work and the countless hours I've put into the project due to this, as well, however -- and once SSWK itself is done, we have a previously promised spin-off that will require development. • Mimi Chapter 1 + 2 unlocked - Some characters may lack voices. This is because were in the process of recording custom voices for them since we thought giving them generic NPC voices would be distracting. - Some characters may have placeholder generic sprites. These will be fixed for next time.
• New feature: Statistics Page - In-game, you may now check out how much affection you have with each character, as well as how many of their endings youve unlocked and whether or not youve seen their post-credits scene. You can also check your grand total of unlocked endings.
• Anjas post-credits scene has been given an additional condition to unlock. It no longer automatically plays after getting the Good Ending. You must now break the 15 affection point threshold for it to play.
• Anjas Route bad endings and epilogue have been added to the Scene Replay function. - If youve previously viewed Anjas epilogue, you will need to view it from start to finish one more time for it to appear in Scene Replay. You can use the Text Skip function for this, however.
• Misc. small visual glitches have been fixed
• A huge amount of typo/grammar/plot/wording fixes for Anjas Route. Mostly the latter, of course. We went through and smoothed out + clarified a lot of language so it would flow better.
• Small additional scene if youve gone through with Anjas first intimate encounter.

We've had version 1.3 of SSWK in the works for several months now, but we didn't have an easy way to post about it on Steam (and we're still not sure how many people posting it like this will reach). • 4 MC personality options, including the original/default option
• 4 new random events: one exclusive to each personality
• A few new small scene variations for MC and BF names
• New options and/or choices in some random events
• Base Boyfriend can follow any career from start to finish; includes dozens of new scene variations, including some for the Base Boyfriend main route itself
• Sub/dom options for sexy scenes
• Visual phone graphic for scenes involving texts/phone calls
• Misc. scene revisions based on new internal writing/editing standards
• Misc. small QOL changes and bug/typo fixes

In total, this includes well over 20,000 words (1 to 2 hours) of new content. We will give an exact number with the final patch notes, but we believe the current count with the partially-integrated changes is over 30,000 words (2 to 3 hours of reading). We hope those who've enjoyed the game already will be motivated to give the game an additional playthrough or two to experience the new content, and we hope those who were unable to enjoy the game previously will give it another chance with the new customization features. As of today, we've sorted out the issues with uploading SSWK's DLC to Steam. The wallpaper and icons pack is now available for all, and we've submitted the classic sprites and adult patch DLCs for approval, so those will hopefully be up within the next 1-2 weeks. Version 1.2 change log:

• Starting from your next fresh game, SSWK will now remember your pronoun/body/adult content/text censorship options for future new games and set those as your default options.
• The way the original sprite patch functioned has been reworked so that it is easier to install and the file is smaller. * Pending approval on Steam.
• After much deliberation, we've released a proper 18+ patch. This alters the game's sexy scene CGs to show genitalia. For your convenience, the original versions of the CGs are still visible in the Gallery alongside the images from the 18+ patch. * Pending approval on Steam.
• Revised Boyfriend and MC name-character allowances to prevent visual glitches.
• Fixed (Boyfriend)'s Owner name visual glitch.
• Fixed the bug where 2 of the Prince's CG variations weren't recorded in the Gallery.
• Fixed a bug where one variation of the Bad Boy's sexy CG didn't properly appear in the game.
• Fixed a bug where a sprite expression didn't display properly in the Prince's route.
