Meet Jazoo

Jazoo has arrived in the jungles, bringing new unique guns and items that can be unlocked in exchange for gems.
If you need a little extra hand, be sure to grab all the passive items. Once unlocked, they will be active for all future runs. Next up will be a free DLC adding a new path stop. More details will be announced soon, meanwhile I hope you enjoy the new content. Thanks for the support!

Cursed Chests & New Items!

Update 1.3.0 is now live and with it comes a new type of chests - Cursed Chests! These chests will spawn randomly once in each area and opening them requires, yes you guessed it, a sacrifice of HP. The amount needed to sacrifice will depend on the area you're currently in. As for the reward, you may get a +1 tier gun and an item.
And that's not all... 7 new items have been added, shop prices were rebalanced, and some reported bugs were addressed. Once again thanks for your awesome support!

Gems & Bombus!

It's time for another update! Update 1.2.0 introduces a new friendly NPC and a type of shop that allows you to permanently unlock unique guns and items. You'll probably notice that you can't buy anything with crystals in this shop. Instead, the shiny new gems are used as a currency. The good news is that there are cauldrons that can be used to convert crystals into gems, and you also get to keep all your gems even if you die.
Some might think that Bombus is one of the Bombos in disguise, but that's totally not true at all. In other news, all the reported bugs have been fixed so far, and a new option to show/hide silhouettes has been added that can be enabled to further increase FPS. Vending Machines!

That's right. Update 1.1.0 introduces medkit and ammo vending machines. In each level, based on random, a vending machine of either medkit or ammo will be available with up to 2 uses per level. The cost will increase each time you use these vending machines as well as when you reach a new area, so plan wisely.
A new gun has been added - Toxic Sniper Rifle, a powerful elemental sniper rifle that is pretty fast and deals a lot of damage. Check out the stats on Danger Gazers Wiki. Also, you'll probably notice a lot of new enemy sound effects that have been added to improve audio feedback, and for those who had to deal with low FPS: some major performance improvement tweaks were done. And finally, don't shoot at the vending machines!

Danger Gazers Has Launched!

Happy New Year! And the day has finally come. Danger Gazers has officially left Early Access, and is ready for the new players who were patiently waiting for the full release!
The game has come a long way since it went into Early Access in May 2019. All thanks to your amazing support and feedback! Major changes and even all the minor tweaks have contributed towards the unique experience that the full release has to offer now. The Dead Heart

Ready or not, the final area is here. New enemies straight from your worst nightmares and a new elite enemy guarding brand-new relics are all waiting for you in this update.
Besides the content update, a new option has been added to control shadow quality for those of you who're playing with system specs that don't exactly meet the recommended requirements. And finally, some important bug fixes that should make your runs much more fun and enjoyable!

Here comes another HUGE update!

Version 0.9.4 is out, one of the biggest update so far. Introducing caves - a complete new area with its own path stop, enemies, traps and rewards! A new type of chest (epic chest) is one of the three rewards you might end up getting in one of these caves, considering you avoid all the new traps and dangers. With all that comes an updated OST with three new tracks.
A save / continue game function has been added once you reach a safe zone. (the map screen) So, now you are free to continue your runs whenever you want. In addition to that, Steam cloud save feature has also been enabled. A major work has been done on the optimization part, fixing performance issues.. And finally, the collision system has been completely reworked resulting in smoother game play and several bug fixes.

Introducing Rotten Elder & Gold Cards!

Here's a huge content update, bringing you a new path stop, 7 unique gold cards, improved randomization and improvements to the overall game play. Let's start with the gold cards. These are hero stat improvement cards that are scattered across the levels and path stops. There are 7 unique cards in total that improve the following skills: gun damage, fire rate, bullet speed, accuracy, maximum hp, maximum ammo capacity and special recharge rate. Gold cards are stackable up to 9x and with each new card the reward increases. There are no negative effects related to these cards and they aren't permanent either, that means with each new run you start with no cards equipped.
Next in line, we got a tricky new path stop - Rotten Elder. A path stop that requires sacrifice of your HP. You've got 2 options... to run away and lose some of your hard earned crystals, or to accept her offer of a random gold card, but lose 50% of your HP. Neither is always the right choice, so think twice before you act. You might notice some other improvements to the overall game play too, such as better randomization when generating levels, some balance tweaks and less bugs. Hotfix & Wiki

Back with hotfix 0.8.9.5, this update fixes a number of important bugs. In other news, Danger Gazers official wiki is up now. Some parts of the wiki and articles are missing the content for now and will be updated along with the game.

• Fixed pause background disappearing when switching resolutions.

Introducing shop sales & increases, packing up timer, new options and more!

Update 0.8.9.4 is live, bringing you some important changes and new features. Entering shops, you'll notice that a random one of the items will be on sale (up to 50% off) and one, the other way around with an increase on price. This update also introduces a much needed change to the way you leave the caravan zone. A packing up timer will show up each time you enter the zone, giving you enough time to change your mind or collect some left items. The caravan zone will also repel all the pickups to the safe zone. Game settings have been tweaked and there's always an option now to restore to the defaults, in case you mess up. Also, added a few new options such as mouse lock and co-op player indicators.. and finally, a lot of BUG FIXES!

• Fixed companions not teleporting with the player when using teleport tiles (also fixes a slow-down/fps drop that was caused by this issue).

Does it mean that the end is near? [spoiler]Not really.[/spoiler] Got some good news and bad news. Bad news is that it's been over 2 months without an update and you might've been aware of that fact. Good news is that I'm finally back now from an unexpected vacation and feeling healthier than ever with plans to keep Danger Gazers updated for a long, long time.

Gold Cards & Rotten Elder

Coming soon in the next update are cards that boost certain hero stats, such as gun damage, fire rate, bullet speed and max HP. Gold cards are stackable unlike items, and for now one of the ways to collect 'em will be by hitting a new path stop Rotten Elder. The elder requires many different sacrifices to be made in order to get your hands on these cards. Two options are always present on this stop, a choice to recede and a choice to follow the elder.
