The new update for Heroes of Loot: Gauntlet of Power is now live!
New Content:
Hidden realm: The Temple New unlockable character: The Rogue New friendlies New enemies Grab the update now: https://store.steampowered.com/app/2374320/Heroes_Of__Loot_Gauntlet_Of_Power/
More info:
Besides adding the new realm and characters, I made some small changes to balancing things out (especially for the easy mode). I also made the realms more of a choice to go into or not, as it will mean you now skip one or two levels. So if you are in a hurry and want to speedrun the game, knowing where to find the entries to these realms is certainly key.. but I can imagine it might sometimes be more interesting to NOT take the realm-route and grab some extra loot in the levels you would otherwise skip. If you need a little spoiler on how/where to find the Rogue unlock tokens, make sure to check the Orangepixel website for the Games Wiki.

Hi! Just a short update to let you know that there is NOW a new Regulator City DEMO available ! Still in heavy development, but I'm very pleased with where the game currently is.
There's a smoother game-flow experience (mission structure, city progress, all make more sense as you play) and there is even some on-boarding for new players in a short little "tutorial" level. You'll also experience a much better stealthy and sneaking-around experience to complete your missions!
This demo also brings you a new playable character: Wrecking-ball ! His dash is VERY nice to use, and his Special ability certainly packs a punch ;)
So please come and check it out, and if you haven't yet, wishlist the game!

Hi guys! Just wanted to let you know that I just pushed the release button on a new Orangepixel Steam release: Sir Questionnaire!
It's a quirky game at a bargain price, it provides hours of gameplay in a VERY small package: The game is played in single dungeon rooms, where you are given the choice to either "interact" or "get outta there!".
Do you attack the skulls? got enough health? got the right weapon for the lobsters? Got some magic left to hit the huge Wolf on his head? Dare to drink the milk before the next encounter?
A game of choices - how far can you venture into the dungeon? Come play Sir Questionnaire, and make sure to drop by on discord if you need tips & tricks!

Hey guys! It's Pascal from Orangepixel with a little update!
I wanted to let you know that there's a fresh new demo of Regulator City, the upcoming game I've been working on for a year now, and this demo gives a very nice feeling of where the game is heading!
So check it out over on the Regulator City page:
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1892750/Regulator_City/
And don't forget to wishlist and perhaps come have a chat about it over on discord.gg/orangepixel:
And please! tell your friends about it, I could use all the help to get more people interested in the game in the coming months!
Regulator City is the next Orangepixel game, and you can try it out for FREE right now in the form of an early demo!
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1892750/Regulator_City/
You play the leader of a team, taking out various gangs setting up base in Regulator City. I was inspired by the cool team-action you see in movies or tv-shows with special forces.. and in this game I want the player to feel part of such a team as you make your way through various apartments, industrial buildings, offices, etc.
Completing a range of interesting missions and slowly taking control of the city!
Anyway, come check out the demo, follow + wishlist the game, and hang out on Discord to talk ! (discord.gg/orangepixel)

Just a small maintenance update fixing a few rare bugs and adding a couple of next level-layouts just for fun. Not a lot of bugs remained open, but if you run into anything else, do let me know!
Here's the short list of changes:
- added: few new building-layout blocks
- fixed: rare bug in one of the tower levels - with start area not having room to climb
- fixed: rare crash at startup on PC (due to weird hardware being connected)
There have been some issues left and right with controllers and buttons not working or doing more than one thing at a time. Problem is that the same controller and OS combination works for some players, where it doesn't work for others.. which makes it very hard to find the problem. IF you have issues let me know which controller you have, which OS and IF you are using any controller mapping tools or settings that might change the behavior in some way. The changes in this version might mean you have to remap the gamepad settings, or do a "Reset to default" and then change them to your liking. I removed some code that hard-assigned buttons to the interface portions of the game, which probably caused more troubles than they fixed (compared to my other games where these issues were happening much less). So I reverted all that code back to the normal state of my games, and I hope that fixes some issues for people that had buttons trigger multiple actions. Also check the gamepad dead-zone setting in the menu, because that might help with left+right movement issues (if you're gamepad has seen some battle time in games over the years, those sticks can get really funky with triggering responses). I don't think it fixes all the problems, but do let me know if it did fix a bunch of them, and then let me know what issues still remain!
As the wishlists are growing on this game, but sales are not coming through, I'm hoping I can help you decide to buy the game or at least let you sample it and see if it's something for you.
You can now download and play a free demo of the game, it's a single level with 3 missions, and it shows what the game is about. This demo does NOT have random levels, so you can only play the one level+missions, and it misses a bunch of items, weapons, and features found in later levels and worlds.
It should be enough to tell you if this game is for you or not, so give it a try and enjoy!

A little update fixing some tiny bugs, but more importantly adding a few new variations to buildings (even tho they are generated randomly, they are based on templates, and there are now over 10 more room templates mixed into it)
Minor update pushed with a couple of fixes:
- fixed: rare crash on shop-items
- fixed: bug with "increase max HP skill"
- added: items now always show cost (even if you have enough coins)
I hope you guys had a great Steam Summer sale! But I also hope you have like a tiny amount left on August 6th, because that's when Gunslugs:Rogue Tactics will go live here on Steam!
The game has been in the hands of a few lucky beta testers for some weeks now, and not a lot of big issue problems have been brought up, so let's bring on the launch! :D
Don't forget to hang out on discord.gg/orangepixel if you want to talk about the game, OR be part of the early play sessions for my next game... they might happen sooner than you think ;)
I just pushed v0.8.0 to Patreon supporters, and this contains a lot of the fixes based on the feedback from the public-beta a few weeks ago. Check out some gameplay video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MxOycdo3qM4
The biggest change is the manual-aiming, which is now possible when playing with keyboard+mouse or with gamepad. Its purely optional, so you can ignore it if you prefer the auto-aim, but especially on gamepad its very flexible to just use that right-stick to really target an enemy now and then.
This build does also come with some new cool things, we now have guard-towers, enemy trucks, sticky-bombs, landmines, crouching, and a few new missions/objectives in the rotation.
Todo
The big things on my to-do list are : finishing those boss-battles, adding one more world, and focus my fine-tuning efforts on the Arctic and Egypt worlds, which still have some things going on that need fixing. Lets see if I can get all that done in the next 1-3 weeks and then have a release build available wow! Don't forget to come and hang out in discord.gg/orangepixel with a chance to win a copy on release!
I'm hiding a bit, because the beta sign-ups are now open and the date is set: May 10th - May 12th you will be able to try out an early version of the game (Windows and MacOS only for now)
So how do you get in on this? simple! drop by in the discord.gg/orangepixel server and check the "welcome-slug" channel for all the info!
see you there!
Hey! Thanks for dropping by on the steam page, I'm Pascal from Orangepixel and this is just a quick first message to announce that I'm working towards doing a public-beta somewhere in the coming weeks.
If you want in on that Public Beta, then please drop by on discord.gg/orangepixel and idle around a bit (or chat!) and I'll do the beta info there once I have it.
I'm still sorting out a bunch of things for it and figure out the best way of handling the beta and the feedback, so be a little patient, but it's coming!
There are also video devlogs and updates over at my youtube channel, so if you want to read some more on what's going on behind the scenes of creating this game, then drop by on Youtube!

Gunslugs:Rogue Tactics Linux [106.07 M]
Listen up soldier! The Black Duck Army are doing dangerous experiments all over the globe, we need to infiltrate their buildings, sabotage their plans, rescue the hostages all while saving the world... gear up!
Gunslugs:Rogue Tactics is a tactical action game where you take control over your elite squad of soldiers, trying to take out the Black Duck Army and stop their world threatening experiments by sneaking your way past the enemy lines, avoiding camera and security drones, planting C4 to take down buildings and complete various missions.
If sneaking fails, you can always try brute force and resort to a collection of melee and ranged weapons like knives, samurai swords, machine-guns, plasma-guns, rocket launchers, and anything else you can get your hands on.
Start the game with your two main characters, and rescue various other squad members in missions to have them join your squad. Missions play out in various locations, and range from simple building-destruction, to hostage rescue, sabotage, hacking, making contact with informers and more. Complete missions to unlock new locations in the game, and see if you can stop the Black Duck Army from opening the gates of hell.
Gain eXPerience by completing missions, taking down enemies in a stealthy way, and you'll be able to level-up each character and unlock skill-points which can be used to improve the character skills: run faster, aim further, carry more ammo, make less noise, etc.
Visit the various pop-up stores for random encounters with helpful shop-keepers, nurses and other weird stores. Some pop-up stores will allow you to travel to different areas and find new items that might help you on your mission.
The game uses procedurally generated environments, making every game a different experience, and failing your mission is just an excuse to try again as your starting team will always be different, and the world will come with new challenges and different building layouts to sneak your way through.
Key features:
- Missions - complete missions to progress in the game
- Stealth – Avoid security cameras, hide from enemies and distract them with rocks, tennis-balls or other throwable objects.
- Loot – A variation of items is there to help you on your missions, shields, helmets, different shoe types, EMP's, weapons, and more. Learn how to use each item in the most optimal way to help you survive missions
- Procedural generation – Every game will be generated differently, increasing the replay value.
- OS: Ubuntu 12
- Processor: 2.0 ghz Dual CoreMemory: 2 GB RAM
- Memory: 2 GB RAM
- Graphics: Intel HD3000 or higher with OpenGL 2.1 support
