If you'd like to see on-screen controls for your control scheme of choice: Go to Settings -> Game Settings -> Controller Icons You can set Controller Icons to Xbox, PlayStation, Keyboard, or Hidden. We also wanted to inform you that an incoming patch will fix the icon sizes for the on-screen KBM control display. In the near future, we will also support key rebinding. Hey Survivors, Our latest patch for Railbreak is now live on Steam! This patch brings some meaty graphical enhancements to the game, and brings the title up to the 12GB size that was advertised on the store page since launch. If you encounter any instability, just reduce the Texture Quality setting in the Video Settings menu as that area received the biggest upgrade across the game.

We have FOUR key categories to touch on today! 1. New Elemental Weapons If you tuned into our last stream, you may know a bit about these already! The primary and secondary weapons in Railbreak are outfitted with unique elemental effects that can give you an advantage in battle. Load up enemies with electricity and watch them explode! Stop zombies in their tracks with ice ammo! Melt through the undead with fire! Send the body parts flying with explosive rounds! The new elemental effects drive the action into absolutely chaotic territory, so be sure to take advantage of your arsenal! 2. 'Glitch' Gameplay Modifier System As you progress through the game, things may become a little dicey when new modifiers dubbed 'Glitches' trigger during a stage. Some Glitches may lend a helping hand with infinite ammo or a defensive buff, while others may serve as a thorn in your side with enemies gaining additional health or a storm of civilians running out in front of your shots. With a ton of different Glitches to encounter, you'll need to stay on your toes to survive! 3. Outbreak: Endless Nightmares twists the series' survival horror gameplay by adding elements of roguelike gameplay. You'll need to explore, hunt for supplies, uncover clues, and fight your way through each anomaly each consisting of semi-procedurally generated instances where both the environment, and the undead, are out to kill you! Immediately after the events of Outbreak: The Nightmare Chronicles, you find yourself trapped within the remains of Arzt Memorial Hospital the hub to organize your inventory and storage cache, level up your character, or just to take a breather before venturing back out into the chaos. Theres more to discover in the world besides murderous hordes of the undead find the journals scattered about to learn more about the outbreak and ultimately where to find refuge! Dont think death can save you every time you die, you'll awake trapped in this nexus. Outbreak: Endless Nightmares focuses on extreme replayability by offering multiple character options each with their own abilities, upgrade paths and more! Each time you venture into the anomaly, itll change and become increasingly difficult as you grow in power. • Weapon SFX now play correctly on first reload.
• Minor performance improvements across the game.
• Minor text fixes across the game.

Outbreak: Lost Hope v1.60 has been released! This update includes:

• Mouse sensitivity option added to the Controls menu. You can access this from the Main Menu or ingame at any time. Defaults to the original mouse sensitivity from when Lost Hope first released.
• Performance improvements across the game, including less stuttering on low and mid-range machines.
• Updated underlying engine to latest version.

Outbreak: Epidemic is now fully available on Steam! 4-player OTS co-op survival horror is back! Check out the latest major content update adding numerous new scenarios, features, fixes and more across the title. Now out of Early Access and fully available!

Outbreak: Lost Hope v1.52 has been released. This update includes:

• Player can now sprint for a short duration. This is primarily used to evade enemies as the sprint time is not very long, but can also help you get around a bit faster. NOTE: If you're using a gamepad, you will either need to reset your controls in the Options menu or bind Run to a new button to use it.
• The player camera has been improved. Gwen now always faces the camera and it snaps immediately to her position to reduce motion sickness.
• Minor game fixes across the title and UI.

Outbreak: Lost Hope v1.51 has been released! This update includes:

• Additional minor buffs to Handgun, SMG and Shotgun ammo across the title. The effect is more pronounced on lower difficulties, but Biohazard has been balanced a bit more.

Hey Survivors, As part of my work to revisit titles in the Outbreak series, I've just released a patch for Lost Hope that I'm sure you'll love! The v1.05 update includes:

• Gwen can no longer be knocked down by enemies.
• Weapon laser sights now animate smoothly while aiming.
• Ammo for the Handgun and SMG have significantly increased in Easy mode, and moderately increased in Normal mode. In addition, you will find a little more Shotgun Shells in Easy and Normal difficulty.

We're happy to announce that Outbreak: Lost Hope has been patched to v1.04. This patch includes:

• Reduced difficulty to get an S-rank or higher in Onslaught Mode to unlock the upgraded knife.
• Provided some additional supplies in the Campaign in particularly challenging areas.
• Fixed an issue where an intended enemy did not spawn near the beginning on Normal difficulty right after you find the second note to unlock the Handgun.
• Fixed a noticeable collision issue late in the Campaign.
• Additional minor bug fixes throughout the title.

We're happy to announce that Outbreak: Lost Hope has been patched to v1.03. This patch includes:

• Reduced difficulty in the early game on Easy and Normal difficulty. You will encounter fewer monsters blocking your path prior to having a weapon. You also will get access to the Handgun earlier. Biohazard and higher difficulties have not been changed.
• Added additional lighting for areas where players typically don't have a flashlight in the very early game.
• Minor UI improvements and general bug fixes across the game.
• Upgraded the underlying engine to a new major release.

We're happy to announce that Outbreak: Lost Hope has been patched to v1.02. This patch includes:

• Linux and Max OS X Support
• Improvements to framerate by streaming more assets
• Steam Achievements
• Minor bug fixes and other corrections

We've just released a patch that will now cause the graphics quality level to default to 'Medium' instead of 'Ultra'. If you've loaded Outbreak: Lost Hope prior to this patch, make sure to go to the Options menu and confirm your graphics quality level prior to playing. Although the Ultra graphics quality level will look excellent and provide additional real-time shadows, it is extremely demanding and should only be used by folks with high end PCs. Medium quality will still look great so it's the recommended default. You should also confirm your settings for anti-aliasing as that can impact performance if it's set too high on lower end or medium tier machines.

We're happy to announce Outbreak: Lost Hope, the next title in the Outbreak series. This new entry is a single-player adventure that follows Gwen, a new survivor, as she searches for her lost daughter during the epidemic. The story picks up after she regains consciousness from a horrible crash.
Outbreak: Lost Hope takes the classic Outbreak formula and brings it into new over-the-shoulder gameplay. You'll have finer control over aiming and your character, with a claustrophic angle where danger can come at any moment.
This title will be released sometime in 2019. We'll have more details soon.
