Hello everyone, A few months back, we revealed our work on a remastered version of Wraithmind and shared our intention to delist the original game once the remastered demo was ready. However, as development of the remastered version has advanced, we've come to realize that the project is much more extensive than our initial estimates. Consequently, we've chosen to rethink our plan to delist the original game. Instead, we'll be rolling out updates to Wraithmind that incorporate the enhancements originally intended for the remastered edition. We understand that this change of direction might feel sudden and potentially perplexing. We apologize for any confusion stemming from this adjustment to our plans. That said, we're actively working on updates for Wraithmind that encompass many of the improvements initially planned for the remastered edition. The first update is already in the works and is set to be released in the coming weeks. Here's a preview of some of the upcoming updates we're crafting and have in the pipeline:
- Version 1.4 - Enhancements to the game's camera and graphics, alongside bug fixes.
- Version 1.5 - Rebalancing of difficulty in the later parts of the game and improvements to the progression system.
- Version 2.0 - Introduction of new enemies throughout the game, coupled with enhancements to the overall in-game events.
Hello everyone, We are thrilled to announce that we are working on a new and improved version of our game, called Wraithmind Reborn! Wraithmind Reborn will feature many changes and improvements, including new levels, enhanced graphics, and additional gameplay features. We believe that these changes will lead to a much better game, and we can't wait to share them with you. We are also happy to announce that a demo of Wraithmind Reborn will be released in a few months, giving you a sneak peek of what's to come. Shortly after the demo is released, we will be delisting the original game from Steam to focus on Wraithmind Reborn. We want to clarify that anyone who already purchased the original game will still be able to play it even after it's delisted. You will be able to continue playing the original game as usual. We will be sharing more information about Wraithmind Reborn in the coming weeks, so stay tuned for updates. Thank you for your continued support, and we can't wait for you to experience the new and improved version of our game! Sincerely, TEKO Games
It's hard to believe that almost 10 months have passed since Wraithmind was released! Things have been mostly quiet since then, but I am still working on updates and fixes now and then. I just recently released version 1.3 which optimizes a few things and fixes several issues. In anticipation for the one year anniversary of the release of Wraithmind, I have decided to lower the price of the game. I always intended to lower the price after a certain amount of time to ensure that the game can reach more players. I have also started work on my next project which will use the same base code as Wraithmind. This means that even as I work on a new game, any bug fixes or improvements will also be ported over to Wraithmind. I am not yet ready to announce what my next project is, but you can expect to hear more about it soon! As always, if you have any feedback, suggestions or ideas do not hesitate to share them! Thanks again to everyone who has supported Wraithmind!
- Improved controller support
- Implemented a new screen fader (not really visible)
- Increased the amount of time it takes for enemies to reappear
- Fixed an issue with talents not properly appearing
- Fixed an issue where you could unlock talents that haven't yet been discovered
- Various other bug fixes
Hello everyone! I have released version 1.2.0 of Wraithmind and the game is also now available for Linux! The new version of Wraithmind includes the following changes and fixes:
- Released the official Linux version of the game
- Made many adjustments to the UI
- Made some adjustments to various text elements throughout the game
- Made some adjustments to balancing
- Fixed issues with items sometimes disappearing
- Fixed an issue where the game would sometimes crash when opening doors
Hello everyone! I have just uploaded version 1.1.2 of Wraithmind. This version fixes a few issues some users have been experiencing. Release Notes
- Changed the framerate of the game to a fixed value. The framerate would sometimes be too high which would cause characters to walk really slowly. Now that the value is fixed this should no longer be an issue.
- Removed a zoom effect in Chapter 3 that would sometimes cause the game to crash.
- Fixed a few issues where selecting enemies or players would not select the correct target.
Hello everyone! I am happy to announce that the full version of Wraithmind is now ready! I have spent the last two months finalizing the remaining chapters of the game, and it is now in a state ready for release. I will be pushing an update on Steam shortly with the full version of the game. Note: This update also includes a revamp of the progression system. Unfortunately, due to complex issues anyone who has a saved game in the previous version of the game will have to start a new game. I apologize for this inconvenience. Wraithmind will stay in Early Access for a couple more weeks as I evaluate if any issues need to be fixed. Afterwards, the game will be leaving Early Access and will be released officially! I will be announcing the official release date soon. Thank you to everyone that has already played the game and has given me suggestions or informed me of issues! As you play the full version of the game, please let me know what you think or if you run into any issues.
Hello everyone! It's been almost 6 months since Wraithmind was released in Early Access. Since then, like many of you I have had to make adjustments due to the ongoing pandemic. However, this has not slowed down the development of the game. Chapters 2 and 3 are progressing well and I will be releasing an updated version of the game in the coming weeks. The original intention was to release chapter 2 first and then continue working on chapter 3. However, as I was working on chapter 2 I realized that it did not make sense to work on the chapters independently. Therefore, I have done a lot of progress on both chapters simultaneously. This means that the amount of time between the release of chapter 2 and 3 will be shorter than the amount of time it took between the first two chapters. Furthermore, as development was progressing I also did an overhaul of the progression system. In the final version of the game you will no longer increment stats of your characters. Instead, I have implemented a talent system which will allow you to change the behavior of each character's skills. This makes progression more seamless and makes your choices more meaningful. I will be posting another update in a few weeks as the next chapters become closer to completion.

Wraithmind Linux 1.* [2.64 G]
Setting
In the year 2118, mankind developed the technology of interstellar travel. Following this discovery, missions were planned to explore Alpha Centauri, the nearest solar system. Over the next several decades, a mining station was built on Tauria, the moon of a planet in Alpha Centauri which is habitable. 60 years later, starships routinely travel between Earth and Tauria.
On Earth, the majority of Europe has unified into a single nation known as The Union. This nation is governed by the GCA, the Government Control Agency. A branch of this organization is responsible for all research on Tauria. They have labs on Tauria as well as on Earth where many secret studies are undertaken.
Characters
The story of Wraithmind: Volume I features many characters, three of which are playable. When you start the game you will only control one character, but as you progress through the story, other characters will join your journey.
Gameplay
Wraithmind: Volume I is a turn-based science fiction RPG. Featuring two to three hours of gameplay, the game will take you through several different areas each with their own story, enemies and characters. You control one character as you progress through the different areas. When you encounter characters or objects, you can interact with them and in some cases you can pick up items.
Battles
As you progress through the story, you will encounter various kinds of enemies. When you collide with an enemy on the map, the game will change to another scene where you can see all of your characters and all of the enemies you must fight. Every character and enemy performs an action one at a time. When it is the turn of a character to perform an action, you must select which action to perform and the target for that action. Enemies select their action and target automatically. Once all enemies have been defeated, you are taken back outside the battle scene.
Progression
When you defeat enemies in battle, your characters will gain skill points. These points can then be used to increase talents of each character. Talents allow you to decide how your characters will become stronger.
