This is a minor update required for Steam Deck verification. It makes some changes to text sizing/scaling

Version 1.2.0 is a content update release featuring:

2 new endings, bringing the game length up from ~100k words to ~175k words
new music, backgrounds, sprites, outfits and cgs (some are 18+)
new config to change textbox opacity
new config to disable auto-resume
2 new achievements
macOS cloud saves are now cross-platform
trading cards have been released
soundtrack has been released

If you encounter any issues with the new build, please report them by replying to this thread. You can also switch to the "oldstable" beta to get the previous version for the time being.

Version 1.01

This is a minor update with the following changes:

fix for an issue some Steam Decks have with Renpy games which would cause the game to randomly freeze up for a minute
adds steam cloud saves
linux and windows builds split into separate 32 and 64bit depots to reduce size
fixed depot sizes on store
updated game engine from Renpy 7.3.5 to 7.5.3

If you encounter any problems with this release, please report them on this post. You can then opt into the "oldstable" beta for the time being until they're fixed. The next version (unless there's an unplanned bugfix release) will be a content update which adds some new routes/endings. It's mostly done now and is expected to be released Q1 2023. Also, since version 1.01 is almost entirely Steam-specific, this release won't be uploaded to other stores. For those stores, the changes will instead be rolled into the upcoming content update.

My Heart Grows Fonder is out now! Available for Windows, Mac and Linux. 18+ patch is available as free DLC.

Synopsis

When his girlfriend suddenly vanished without a word, Cassius feared the worst. All communication was shut off, he had no clue where she went, and nobody seemed to be able to get ahold of her. The person closest to him disappeared, seemingly for good, and he had no way of knowing what had happened to her. Now, without warning or fanfare, Maia has returned. What's more, the years of separation have done nothing to change how she feels about Cas. The two of them never formally broke up, and in her mind, they are still a couple. But as the person left behind, Cas' feelings aren't so simple. After years of anguish, he has finally started to move on, and Maia's return isn't as welcome now as it would have been all that time ago. Will Cas manage to mend his relationship with his ex-girlfriend and return to what they once had? Or will he leave the past behind and find happiness with someone else?
