Just a little update to finally put the seasonal outfits bug to rest. Going forward, the outfit changes every 3 months. Dec - Feb = Christmas Outfit Mar - May = Leprechaun Outfit Jun - Aug = Uncle Sam Outfit Sep - Nov = Pumpkin Outfit This shouldn't have broken anything else but if it did, let me know in the discussions and I'll get on it ASAP! Hello again everyone! If you've been following the updates about the original Kindergarten, you already know that I'm updating both games in preparation for our launch on the Nintendo Switch! While the changes to Kindergarten 1 were a bit more impactful, Kindergarten 2's are far closer to bug fixes and streamlining. Find the patch notes below!
- Enabled cloud saves.
- Fixed Flowers for Diana not highlighting in the mission map.
- Fixed final mission being unlocked in mission map when all previous items haven't been unlocked.
- Updated mission map arrows to be easier to read.
- Increased character move speed.
- Adjusted dialogue and options in some areas to make it clearer on what you're supposed to do and allow you to leave certain conversations a little earlier.
- Fixed some characters not facing the right way when talking to another character.
- Darkened Jerome's dialogue color background to make reading highlighted text easier.
- Fixed some instances of lag spiking when multiple characters start walking at the same time.
- Changed some of the insults used to address Nugget, Stevie, and Ozzy.
- Fixed "items remaining" text when selecting what items to bring to school not showing a number.
- Added dialogue to the swings when interacting with them outside of recess.
- Fixed Nugget's blood trail being visible when the lights go out.
- Fixed extra card being active during monstermon tutorial which could cause it not to work.
- Increased card size in Monstermon battles to make cards easier to read.
- General fixes to Monstermon battles. There were a lot of scenarios that could cause it to freeze up if you clicked around or paused. Those should be fixed now.
- Adjusted food fight so that burgers don't fly in from off screen.
- Adjusted audio in final area to fill the silence.
- Made it so that the cafeteria is still messy from the food fight for the rest of the day.
- Fixed being able to walk around after finishing certain character's missions.
- Fixed dialogue overlapping if you run out of actions while finishing Ted's mission during gym time.
- Added 'X' marks for some invisible triggers. Some events in the game have you interacting with a blank space. This should make it clearer as to where those are.
- Changed size and position of Monstermon and outfit unlock notification windows. Decreased time that the unlock windows are visible.
- Fixed issues with 21:9 aspect ratios causing the camera to not work properly and show things that are supposed to be offscreen.
- The seasonal outfit will now change automatically every 3 months.
- Fixed Agnes being stuck on same dialogue as she descends back into the dumpster.
- Fixed player being able to interact with Agnes as she descends back into the dumpster.
- Fixed Nugget's attached arm being at the wrong angle.
- Changed music at beginning and end of the day.
- Fixed being able to walk around briefly after beating the last boss.
- Fixed being able to walk around briefly during dodgeball.
- Ted now blocks you from leaving the classroom if he's following you during his mission.
- Ozzy bathroom stall sequence now works properly if you don't take the right stall.

Just a small update as we wrap up the year. The seasonal outfit has been updated to a festive coat and hat. I also closed off the walls in the boys' bathroom which allowed players to get out of bounds. It's amazing the stuff that gets through testing. We do have more stuff in the works that we'll be revealing in 2020. Until then, happy holidays and happy new year!

It's been a little while since I put out a patch. There's good reason for that, I promise. Here's the latest changes and bug fixes. v1.22 Bug Fixes -Fixed repeating dialogue in Felix mission if Ozzy won't show up at the playground. -Fixed being able to skip giving Penny an item at recess during final mission. -Fixed softlock when using up all apples in Nugget Cave during final mission. -Fixed being able to skip using an apple while talking to Stevie during the janitor's mission. -Updated locker dialogue to say that it is unlocked after the hall monitor takes an item from it. -Updated weapons shelf dialogue in janitor's closet during final mission. -Fixed player being able to walk around after cat ending. -Fixed the sleeve of an unlockable outfit not being the appropriate color. Other -Showing a bathroom pass now uses the item consistently more consistently. -Updated seasonal outfit from Uncle Sam Hat to Pumpkin Head! Happy Halloween! There is still more to come. Got a lot of stuff still on the back burner, but I promise the fixes will keep coming. v1.21 -Fixed Nugget mission starting in final mission during recess. -Fixed Jerome still walking out at the end of the day after being chased out of gym. -Fixed being able to change lesson plan during morning time. -Fixed wording on Buggs in gym to indicate that he wants cherry soda. -Fixed Monstermon hint for Treasure Chest card. -Fixed being able to get out of bounds in the girls' bathroom. -Fixed Monty suddenly appearing by handicap ramp. Other -Added Stevie dialogue to suggest he re-locks the door when leaving with Ms. Applegate during Nugget mission. -Changed appearance of Monstermon unlock notification to match other Monstermon menus. -Moved outfit unlock notification to be above Monstermon unlock notification to prevent overlap. -Adjusted Monstermon discard animations to be smoother. -Various spelling and grammar fixes.

Finally managed to fix a lot of the problems people were having with Monstermon crashing. It should be in a much better place now. I still have a lot of fixes on the back burner that need some testing, but those will have to wait for next week. Here's this week's patch notes. v1.2 -Fixed Monstermon crashing when opponent is out of cards and has full mana. -Fixed Monstermon tutorial skipping 2 steps when pressing the continue button. -Fixed Ofaka Tornado not dealing extra damage when it's supposed to. -Fixed pressing wrong button in final area causing soft lock. -Fixed Monty having wrong dialogue in plants class. -Fixed being able to take device in janitor's closet multiple times. -Fixed character dialogue in final area after pressing the fourth button. -Fixed player getting stuck behind lunch counter after lunch lady returns with the vegan meal. -Fixed characters being dark in the end day scene if the bell rang during the black out. -Fixed game freeze when finishing teacher mission without getting the item she wanted. -Fixed Janitor walking around after he's dead. -Fixed being able to skip most of 'Opposites Attract.' Just a few small things today. I'm gearing up to do some major fixes to Carla's mission as well as the things that happen when you change science subjects when not doing a mission. I think I finally fixed all of the problems with the dodge ball mini game. Hopefully. Fingers crossed. We got a bunch of other fixes in here too. More to come tomorrow and over the weekend! v1.13 -Fixed "I'm going to move down" breaking dodge ball. -Increased consistency of dodge ball triggers -Adjusted timing of dialogue starting during the last part of dodge ball. -Fixed problems with Penny exiting the downstairs hallway during the janitor's mission. -Fixed being able to skip sneaking in the lighter in Nugget's mission by going upstairs twice. -Fixed Monty starting his lunch time dialogue during Breaking Sad even if you didn't give him the item. -Fixed blocking Ozzy's stall triggering Ted's mission when it hasn't been started yet. -Fixed soft lock when using left stall in boys room after lunch time. -Fixed Penny not showing up in classroom when holding contraband before morning time. -Fixed Ted continuing his mission even after you told him you failed to get the inhaler. -Fixed some dead characters walking out at the end of the day. -Fixed weird interaction when entering study hall from recess without using an apple. -Adjusted sprite layer of skeleton in cave. -Various spelling and grammar fixes. Hey kids! I just launched the second patch to Kindergarten with the below bug fixes and changes. I still have a giant list of other bugs to tackle, so if I didn't get one that you know about this time around, I'll try to get it in the next patch. Thanks to everyone who has reported bugs so far. The community has been really patient with bug fixes and I really appreciate it. v1.12 Change Log Fixes -Fixed bug when starting nugget mission, then using A+, then talking to Nugget caused soft lock. -Fixed bug when eating an apple while Nugget follows you in the class didn't make him talk. -Fixed setting off firecracker when not in teacher mission soft locking the game. -Fixed soft lock when picking up leg when not on Nugget mission. -Fixed hydraulic press explosion not triggering a death scene. -Fixed soft lock when Stevie giving pass book doesn't trigger bell during teacher mission. -Fixed looping dialogue after talking to Jerome and then freeing Nugget. -Fixed soft lock when opening and closing the unlocked items panel too quickly. -Fixed soft lock when going forward during last part of dodge ball. -Fixed player being able to walk around briefly after first part of dodge ball. -Fixed dodge ball sequence freezing if mashing through dialogue. -Fixed some dodge ball physics -Fixed being able to close the death panel by pressing escape. Other -Hovering over the bottom left mission now displays the correct arrows. -Removed ability to eat apples during the lost woods puzzle. -Removed 'Help' option from pause menu. It's been less than a day since launch, but I definitely wanted to put out this patch. There are a ton of bugs people are finding that my play testers and I didn't. To everyone who has reported bugs so far, THANK YOU! I'm working really hard to remove as many as possible as quickly as possible! I appreciate everyone's patience and hope you can still enjoy the game anyway. v1.1 Change Log -Added arrow key support -Fixed controls screen not resetting properly after it's been closed. -Fixed being able to walk around during a Monstermon battle -Allowed player to rematch Ozzy in a Monstermon battle -Fixed bug where selecting an empty slot in your deck caused Monstermon to crash. -Fixed being able to place a device in the crusher even when you don't have one. -Fixed death event in janitor closet when Carla is following you. Other -Removed redundant wet floor sign in cafteria during gym -Changed name of Monstermon Card Nugget gives you to Zen Octopus.
