Dear ZED Community, We wanted to share an important update about ZEDs future. Our studio, From Away Games, recently acquired the rights to ZED. This was a meaningful step for us, as we remain deeply inspired by the games emotional story, its beautiful world, and the vision of our cofounder Chuck Carter, the original creator. We also have a future vision for where we hope to take the story from here. However, we are a small independent team without the resources to maintain or update the version of ZED last updated in 2019. After careful consideration, weve made the difficult decision to sunset ZED in its current form. As part of this process, ZED has been removed from sale on digital storefronts, which will soon include Steam. Existing owners will continue to have full access to download and play the game. We sincerely thank everyone who has supported ZED over the years. It is a work that touched many people, and we are honored to help preserve its legacy.
