Hello everyone, Its been awhile, and in short it's going to be a while longer. Due to the state of the industry we need to pause development for Shallow Waters and resume in 2025. But, you have a new demo to play now!
As we said last year were not working with our former publisher anymore, we went out to look for work for hire to pay the bills and keep the studio running, things seemed to be doing OK after the split. Then 2023 happened, one of the worst years for the game industry in modern history, as this article says "If 2023 was the year of layoffs, 2024 will be the year of closures.. We and the industry are still reeling this year, and weresadly having to let go of some colleagues as well. To keep going at all weve signed an exclusive deal with a AAA developer and publisher, doing work for hire for them during 2024, that means were not getting ready to release Shallow Waters this year.
Were sorry that you, our fans, need to see this, but we want to say that the project is not over yet, we need to recuperate this year, focus on surviving, then we can finish our game.
