[h2]Mid-Race Modification Update[/h2]

The latest update to Truck the System adds a brand new way to modify your trucks: 100 feet in the air while travelling at 60 mph.



[h3]Mid-Race Modification[/h3]
You can now seamlessly enter the vehicle builder at any point during a race, which allows you to add or remove parts from your truck, or even load in an entirely different truck, whenever your current design just isn't good enough. Not enough weapons? Just add some more. Not quick enough? Throw some boosters on.

Time slows down while vehicle modification is active, but not completely. Your truck is still speeding through the air, so don't take too long making your adjustments! You're also unable to control your truck while you modify it, so you won't be able to dodge the many rockets flying your way either.

[h3]Campaign[/h3]
The update also includes a new campaign, currently featuring 12 levels which will test your ability to modify your truck on the fly to meet whatever challenges are thrown at you. Tight gaps will require you to shave parts off, and long jumps will require you to add boosters.

The previous levels are still available via the Steam Workshop, along with other community-made maps.

Struggling to complete a race track is so much more fun under a hail of bullet and rocket fire. Even a simple race track becomes an interesting challenge when you're dodging fire and exploding every now and then.

Turrets
Yesterday I added automatic turrets to the game, as a placeable part in the level editor. There are currently two varieties, one with a rocket launcher and one with a minigun, as you can see below.


The turrets will track any trucks within their range and fire constantly, dedicated to ruining your day as well as your paintwork. Fear not, though! There are plenty of truck-mounted weapons at your disposal that for you to fight back with. Here are a few screenshots of my battles with the turrets. (Track made in the in-game level editor)


Truck Destruction
I've also added truck destruction! Each part is individually damageable, and once destroyed will detach from your truck. If your base part takes too much damage, your entire truck will explode into pieces. Be sure to armour up, and especially protect those wheels!

Demo
