National Ferret Day Discount! 50% off (April 2nd - 8th)! |
Every April 2nd, we commemorate National Ferret Day with the traditional ferretous festivities: being bitten for no reason, picking up all the things that are suddenly on the floor, and wondering where all your socks went.
Now you can mark the occasion with a new tradition: getting widgets, building doohickeys, and doing mischief on a space station in the far future as Sprocket the Ferret in Widget Satchel!
To celebrate, Widget Satchel is on sale for one week, starting April 2nd, for a frankly irresponsible 50% off!
This is an extra- special discount that someone really should have talked us out of. You aren't likely to see it at this price anytime soon. Stash your copy now!

Endangered Black-footed Ferret Cam! |
We're streaming live 24/7 from our Steam page in the days leading up to our launch! Is it an early preview? Live dev updates? A new trailer? Nope, it's a livestream of an endangered black-footed ferret!
Why?
You play as a ferret in Widget Satchel, and we did a lot of research so Sprocket would look and feel the right amount of silly. But at first we were only looking at domesticated ferrets, so when we learned about the conversation efforts to protect the seriously threatened black-footed ferret, we thought we could do something a little less silly to support them.
Is this your ferret?
Nope. Run by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, the black-footed ferret cam captures a real-time feed of North America's most endangered mammal that, at one point, was thought to be extinct. More live ferret cams are available on the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service website.
Donations can be made to support black-footed ferret recovery through the American Ferret Association.
About The National Black-Footed Ferret Conservation Center
The USFWS' National Black-footed Ferret Conservation Center (FCC), located in northern Colorado, houses 60-70% of all captive black-footed ferrets (BFF). The FCC serves as the hub for everything related to BFF recovery.
