Biggest update ever

Forktruck Challenge gameplay was re-created from scratch to address issues, pointed in the various feedback channels, mostly addressing physics stability, controls sensitivity, driving and VR With the new multiplayer challenge game mode two players can now compete, completing various challenges. More zones and more challenges are creating now. Now fully supports Oculus Rift (Steam VR support will follow soon)

Experimental VR update


First of all, big thanks to Matt form Bonozo Apps for helping me with VR testing (and me failing). VR support is experimental and it is activated/deactivated while pressing [V] button (if it is deactivated at the start). Supports Oculus and OpenVR. Please, feel free to post some screenshots and videos of your VR experience, or message me on Twitter/Twitch @MintArcade if you have any issues. Beside experimental VR support, there is fixing of some issues from negative reviews, including, but not limited too: - Network physics stability. - Cargo "spawn" points. - Faster loading time and more. Actually, for whatever reason, most loading time is actually connecting to Steam, but I'm working on that, hopefully it will be implemented in the next build. Happy forklifting.

After a lot of work with physics and network engine, "BIG CARGO" update now is live on Early Access. Enjoy more cargo types and more challenging experience. Now game looks more like real life warehouses. - 20+ new standard, tall and long cargo types. - Over network physics synchronization now more stable. Although, on low-end PC's and Mac game is still laggy - I'm working on that. - Sound effect fixed for some damage types. To do: - Fix audio lag for local player fork operation and electric forklift. - Sensitivity options for driving. - Find and fix more bugs. - Marketing. "Hidden" VR settings. Press V in Option -> Controls to activate VR. If you have one connected and properly configured, you should experience this game in VR. Never tested, please let me know if you have an issue. Also, please let me know if physics and network are better now. Train fix and horn update

Many small bugs fixes

First of all, big thanks to Matt, who played the game on he's Twitch Stream recently and to all players, who had a blast by making a mess in multiplayer game - that was fun! In this "quiet" update, most of the bugs, pointed by the Stream viewers, was eliminated. Fixes: - Player model are now hidden and you can only see other players. This was done to reduce "flicker" and to prepare the way for VR implementation. - Players now can lift (in theory) another player's forklift. - Cargo break sound can be changed in SFX settings. - Pallet kinematic fixed, no more floating pallets. - Reset / Menu / Cancel now working on small screen. - Forklift controls disable while typing in chat. - Chat disappear speed is now slowed down. - Chat now have sound. - Breaks lights. - Controls are polished for use with searing wheel. - Electrical forklift have correct engine and fork operating sound. (More polishing needed) And of course - explosives!

What's new: - Cargo score is now working properly, giving the player more information on what was added into the total. - Now it is possible to damage and destroy any cargo. - New smaller crates are not attached to the pallets to make it more difficult to move around. - Trains and conveyor belts bringing and taking away cargo, so you never run out of missions to complete. - New menu makes navigation much simpler to use with controller. - Steam Leaderboard. - Forktruck reset ( button) - Camera have more wider range of movement. - More precise forktruck controls on slow speed. - Forktruck in now faster and more stable, especially on a ramp or while turning. Fixes: - Network optimized to allow more players - Graphics issues fixes - Known bugs removed. What next: Your feedback, comments and reviews that what will make that game better. More cargo and levels are coming soon (before release). I still debating whatever first person controller is needed, as player will be able to leave their forktruck and walk around, move crates and return back. That will most certainly eliminate need to mess up more with camera point of view and bring more realism. One downside is there in no good player model to put into the game.
