Biolab Wars DX: Important update on the way!

Attention! Biolab Wars will receive an important update soon!

We are planning a major update, including the following improvements:


  • Shooting in 8 directions!
  • Ammunition rebalancing;
  • More bullets!
  • Decrease in knockback;
  • New stage between the last miniboss and the final boss.
  • ...and other minor improvements.

All of this will be available for free to everyone who already owns the game.

But be aware: on April 20th, the price of Biolab Wars will be adjusted.

Therefore, you can still buy it at the current price until April 20th. Take advantage of it!

Q: Why is there going to be a price adjustment?
A: With the arrival of Wild Dogs, we believe that more people will look for Biolab Wars. Therefore, we decided to invest in significant improvements.

Q: I already own the game, do I need to pay anything extra for these improvements?
A: No! You don't need to pay anything extra. The improvements will be free for everyone who already owns the game.

Q: Will I still have access to the old version?
A: Yes! You will have two versions of Biolab Wars to play whenever you want.

  • Added video filters (linear, bilinear, CRT, etc);
  • Added screen shake force setting;
  • Greatly reduced input lag when using VSync in DirectX mode;

In celebration of the launch of Savage Halloween, new playable character is available for free in Biolab Wars to help fight the gooey aliens.

Changed main graphics API to OpenGLCore on Windows build to reduce input lag when V-Sync is enabled;
Fixed a bug in floating platforms on stage 04-01 where sometimes the platform sank and didn't come back to surface;
Adjusted volume for the player's SFXs;
Added missing SFXs on the final boss battle.

Patch Notes (2019-08-26)

Fixed death animation when dying on hanging bars;
Extra life now spawns only once per level, except when the game is restarted via the pause menu;
Fixed a bug where the player could take damage from Boss Skull Guardian even after defeating him;
Stage/Level notification will now only be displayed at the first level of each stage, boss fights, stage 2 checkpoints, and when the game is restarted from the pause menu.
