Hi everyone, My name is Joel. Im Ludic Studios producer and Im here to calm your hearts and share what's new with Wind Runners and Ludic Studios. First, no, Wind Runners was not cancelled, last year 2021, we had to stop development to make another project called Kate: Collateral Damage, a game that we made in partnership with Netflix. This experience was really cool, thanks to it we could we found amazing people to work with us and it gave us time to think about how we could improve Wind Runners. Enough with chit-chat and let's talk about we have done since January 2022. The playable characters: These are the seven playable characters that you will be able to pilot.
We don't want to give too many spoilers here. New maps: We finished the concept of all maps.
We are also improving the visuals and static of the game. Wind Runners:

For centuries, the Realm uses fear and its military superiority to keep the Zarah Igna System under control, but a group of rebellious Ishma arises to fight its tyranny. With their superior aerial combat skills, the Wind Runners will bring freedom to all who live under the shadow of oppression! Wind Runners is rogue like side scroller dogfight game. Choose one of the available ships, each one with unique weapons, evolve its power with equipment and improvements acquired along the game and go fight against "The Torments", giant metal beasts, scattered throughout the planets of Zarah Igna system.

• 13 planets and a system to navigate between them.

Meet the Team:

Hi everyone, we are a small indie game studio located in Brazil called Ludic Studios: Joel Hamon: Producer, PR and Programmer.
Artur Fernandes: Artist.
Lui Gama: Game Designer and Programmer.
The game has a medieval futuristic style. The initial idea to create the game was inspired on real story about the Night Witches, a group of Russian pilots who became very famous in WW2 for bombing German bases at midnight. Then we went looking for more references for the game in animes and movies like: Macross, Gurren Lagann, Cowboy Bebop, Neon Genesis Evangelion and Star Wars. Other references was games like Risk of Rain, Luftrausers, Dead Cells. We hope that everyone like our new game and feel free to contribute with your thoughts
