Hey, guys! Due to popular request, I set the final sale with Valve's approval, with a symbolic price around 1$ (depends on your region). Your last chance to grab the game before it's removed. Thank you all for your support and kind words, I really appreciate it.

Hey, guys! Im deeply saddened to report this, but I made a very difficult decision to remove the game from Steam and other platforms. Because of current situation in Ukraine and some personal issues, including issues related to this war, I can't continue working on the game until those issues are resolved and as you can probably see, things are very bleak and uncertain with no end in sight. I don't want to mislead anyone who might come across the page because the last published version is just far inferior to whats planned and doesn't represent what's going to be in most ways, so the best thing I can do here is remove it and hopefully come back with a finished product with fully realized vision when it's ready and the war is over. If anyone has any questions or issues, please, contact me at: dealgame.contact@gmail.com Ill answer all the questions and resolve all the issues. Thank you for your support and feedback!

Hey, guys! 20% Christmas discount and Update 3, part 1 are available now! Check it out!
I'm currently working on a massive Update 3 which will include a lot changes and new content, and will be released sometime next month. Part 1 includes mostly visual touch-ups which I felt were important for overall presentation, particularly:
- Fonts in Main Menu, Reference Book and Notes UI are replaced with high resolution versions. Initially I was going for more pixelated look of some UI text, but I felt it didn't work and it just bugged me all the time, so new fonts should be more fitting to the game and pleasing to the eye.
- 'Ponvision' logo and text under buttons on TV UI are replaced with high resolution versions.
- "Motivational" poster in player's appartment is replaced with a higher resolution version.
- New street poster in Survival Mode.
- Main Menu frame is removed.
- Different small fixes here and there.
Full version of Update 3 will include:
- New opening in Story Mode.
- Overhauled Tutorial.
- Extended gameplay.
- Separate inventory slot or two for quest items.
- Visual and audio improvements.
- New clothes and character details.
- New items.
- Extended dialogue lines.
- Improved UI.
- Different fixes here and there.
and more.
Stay tuned and I hope you'll enjoy your first stay in Winterfield!

Hey, guys! Update 2 is available now! The goal of this update was to make the game more intuitive based on the early feedback, make some game mechanics clearer to players, fix/rewrite stuff here and there, and also add new things along the way.
Full list of changes and additions:
- New item - cola.
- Some new customer clothes.
- Fixed soap image.
- Flyer image is replaced with a higher resolution version.
- Extended Lenny's speech in the opening of Story Mode.
- Additional notes in Story Mode and Tutorial to clarify how police works in the game.
- You can now start a new game right at the end of Tutorial.
- Inventory and Reference Book icons are now highlighted in Tutorial when you need to click on them.
- Additional Reference Book page about the cross icon which appears right before any dialogue with a customer to notify a player when he can't interact with Lenny, trash cans and newspaper.
- Rewrites in Reference Book descriptions.
- More visible highlight on Inventory and Reference Book icons and UI buttons when you hover over them.
- Some visual updates, particularly on TV buttons and some customer clothes.
- Some new customer lines.
- "harvested ballots" item is removed from Survival Mode because it takes place in 2019, a year before the election.
- A very slight pause was added at the end of each dialogue with customers to make the transition from customer's last dialogue line to him leaving you smoother.
- Now Lenny's UI shows up instantly when Lenny doesn't have any news.
I hope you'll enjoy your first stay in Winterfield! More to come.

This quick update should fix shadow versions of customers when your recorded video is brighter than the actual game and it also adds some new dialogue lines.

Hey, guys! Update 1 is available now! The goal of this update was to address the potential issue some players could encounter while adding some new stuff and fixes along the way. Early data showed that players who started Story Mode without completing the tutorial first could miss some important features like skipping customer's walk and speeding up character's speech, which could tarnish the experience for those who don't like slow gameplay style. To address that I decided to add the notification before starting new game, add some new notes in both Story Mode and Tutorial, and rearrange some pages in Reference Book. I hope it'll add more clarity to how things work in the game. Among other changes: New item - whiskey. Some new character clothes. New customer lines. New propaganda from Fred Tomato in Survival Mode. Additional optimization and small fixes here and there. Your feedback is important and greatly appreciated! The current plan is to polish, balance and expland on the current version until gameplay formula fully works and then finish the rest of Story and Survival modes. I hope you'll enjoy your first stay in Winterfield! More to come.

Hey, guys! New trailer and screenshots are available now! I'm currently preparing for release on all 3 target platforms (Windows, Linux and Mac Os) and finishing stuff here and there. As you probably noticed, I'm really bad at the exact projections, so I'm not gonna risk to say the exact time the game will be available, so stay tuned! Thank you for your patience and I apologize for any delays.

Hey, guys! So this is the final release date, you can mark it in your calendar. The EA version is mostly done, but requires 2 days to make sure there's no game-breaking bugs/crashes. New trailer and updated screenshots will be available tomorrow! Thank you for your patience and stay tuned!

Hey, guys! With a heavy heart I have to announce that The Dealer is delayed to Wednesday, October 28, 2020. A week ago I was quite sure about Friday release, but after the internal testing of the initial version, it became apparent that EA version requires some changes, additions and balancing, so it was a necessary decision. I appologize for this delay and really hope it's the last one. New trailer and updated screenshots based on the current build of the game will be released early next week, closer to release.

- The Dealer Linux [173.58 M]
- Story Mode. You have 10 days to get 10000$. You need to sell everything you can get to different strangers, avoid cops and pay the rent in order to survive as things in the city get worse and worse.
- Survival Mode. Survive as long as you can in the increasingly challenging and hostile environment.
- Dialogue System with a wide variety of interactions and potential choices. Mix of scripted and non-scripted dialogues.
- Morality System. The way you treat customers affects both gameplay and game's ending.
- Political Events System. One of the core features of the game that makes it more diverse and increasingly challenging.
- Many different characters, both procedural and handmade.
- Lots of different items with 3 levels of rarity.
- Dark humor.
- Multiple endings.
- Developed by one person.
- You can sell bottle caps for 100$ with the power of conviction!
- You can also sell a random druggie his own hand ;)
Winterfield, Michigan. Year 2019. The crime rate and corruption level are at record high. The mayor and city council are nothing, but puppets for two gangs which control the city. Police barely exists because of massive budget cuts, those who remained basically live on bribes. This is not a place for dreams or ambitions, people are just trying to survive, slowly losing all hope.
After losing poker game with Jack Coin, one of the big bosses of Winterfield mob, you are given 10 days to pay the debt. Left without job and options like taking loans because of economic crisis in the country and your own personal failures, you have to ask your shady friend, Lenny, for help. Lenny is a travelling dealer who hides from cops in city's sewerage. He lends you his old hot dog cart for storing stuff and covering your deeds. Ready to go, you need to get 10000$ in 10 days by selling everything you can get to different strangers. During your journey, you will meet some eccentric and even dangerous characters, which may help or get you killed. You also have to pay the rent every day and deal with the increasing difficult economic and political situation as the whole country is falling apart.
Survival Mode has 2 major differences from Story Mode:
- Your goal is to survive as long as you can in the increasingly challenging environment, you can go far beyond 10 days and 10000$.
- All events in the city and newspaper headlines are randomized (In Story Mode they are scripted), so you'll be facing new challenges every day, while still dealing with old ones.
Political Events System is one of the core features of the game. Every day you start with a fresh issue of Winterfield Daily newspaper which tells us news about game's world. Those news directly affect many game stats, including:
- Dialogues;
- Prices;
- Bribes;
- Your rent;
- Which items are legal or not etc.
The way you treat customers affects both gameplay and game's ending. You have a choice in every dialogue with a potential customer. Deceive or insult customers, sell drugs or stolen stuff, get someone killed and cops will come for you. You may get some quick cash and talk yourself out of trouble with police, but the ending won't be great. If you choose a better path, you'll probably going to have a harder time getting money, but cops won't be bothering you and you'll have a shot at good ending. You can also balance between two gameplay styles, you don't have to be just good or bad, this is not black and white story.
