We received a lot of questions and feedback in regards to the announcement of the standalone version of Depixtion: Halloween retiring, so we decided to put together a basic FAQ on how the transition from standalone game to DLC will work: Q: First off, what exactly is going on? A: We have decided to retire Depixtion: Halloween as a standalone game, and will be re-releasing it as DLC for the base version of Depixtion. This decision was not made lightly, and was chosen in order make it easier to handle distributing Depixtion and it's expansions across multiple platforms. Q: What is the last day Depixtion: Halloween will be available for purchase as a standalone game? A: We will be officially retiring the standalone version of Depixtion: Halloween a week after the Steam Summer Sale on July 13th, 2020 Q: When will the DLC version of Depixtion: Halloween be available? A: If all goes according to plan, the DLC version of Depixtion: Halloween will be available on October 1st, 2020. Q: Is there going to be a "Retirement Sale"? A: Yes! Both Depixtion & Depixtion: Halloween will be on sale for 80% off during the Steam Summer Sale. Q: Will you continue to update the standalone version of Depixtion: Halloween? A: Unfortunately, we will no longer be updating the standalone version of Depixtion: Halloween. In order to receive the most up-to-date version, you will need to migrate over to the base version of Depixtion. Q: What does this mean for those of us who purchased Depixtion: Halloween? Will we have to purchase Depixtion & the Halloween DLC? A: Nope! We will be giving everyone who has Depixtion: Halloween in their Steam library a free copy of both Depixtion, & the Halloween DLC once we retire the standalone version of Depixtion: Halloween. This will happen automatically, and requires no additional work on your end. Q: What about my progress/achievements? Will they carry over to the DLC? A: Yes! We will be migrating all of your current progress & achievements in the standalone version of Depixtion: Halloween over to the DLC release Q: Does this mean that there will be more DLC releases for Depixtion? A: Well, we wouldn't be putting all of you through this if we didn't have have plans for more DLC for Depixtion! We thank you for your patience during this transition, and hope you're all excited!

After much discussion, we at DevHour Games have decided that Depixtion: Halloween will no longer be a standalone game. In an effort to better align both our Steam and Nintendo Switch versions of Depixtion, we will be re-releasing Depixtion: Halloween as DLC for Depixtion. The Store Page for Depixtion: Halloween will probably be shut down in the next week or so, with the transition over to DLC complete just in time for Halloween 2020. Those of you who have already purchased Depixtion: Halloween will of course still be able to play it on Steam as a standalone version, however it will no longer be updated. That being said, we don't want to leave all you guys behind! We are currently working with Steam to see if we will be able to send all existing owners of Depixtion: Halloween a free key for the DLC. If you have any additional questions, you can reach us directly at Support@devhourgames.com ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Greetings Everyone!
First off we hope everyone is safe and secure. The world just performed a double backflip over the last few months, and were all in the process of sorting things out. Its not every week the world shuts down for a global pandemic But history shows us communities grow stronger through adversity, and now is no different.
So, with the Coronavirus forcing everyone and their grandparents (PLEASE STAY INSIDE) into lockdown, we thought a little Stay at Home sale could help lift the quarantine blues. For the next 14 days you can pick up Depixtion or Depixtion Halloween for 25% off or pick up the fantastic bundle at a deep discount as well! Our mentality Dont sweat the global pandemic, chillax with some colorful Picross instead.
Stay safe everyone. And remember, were all in this together.
Best,
Devhour Games team

Hello Everyone! Version 1.4 of Depixtion: Halloween is now live! If you are wondering where the first few versions went off to, we fast-tracked Depixtion: Halloween to 1.4 to match Depixtion! This is update is a major overhaul from the previous iteration. So much so, it looks like a whole new game!
New & Important Features
UI We have performed a MASSIVE overhaul to every single aspect of the UI. There is not a single section that we did not go in and tinker with/dramatically remake. Just take a look at the comparison below! Original UI

New UI

Stats Panel Ever been curious of just how many stars you earned? Or how long it took you to complete all of those super hard 24x24's? Well, wonder no more, as we have incorporated a Stats Panel into Depixtion! You can find the Stats Panel next to the Options panel in the Main Menu.

Drag-Lock Preview When using Drag-Lock, there is now a preview of the blocks you plan on laying down. This greatly helps visualize your next moves

TextMeshPro We'll admit, we dropped the ball on this one. In a game with so much text, it was silly for us to not use TextMeshPro. But we have learned from our mistakes, and went through the slightly-painful process of incorporating it into Depixtion. TextMeshPro allows for MUCH crisper text displayed a higher fidelity. Your eyes will thank us.

New Icons We've got new Icons and Steam Library images to go along with the new UI! Spiffy, huh?

Bug Fixes & Minor Changes
- Assorted Optimization Improvements - Tutorial Pop-up is now more noticeable - When Drag-Lock is disabled, Drag-Counter option now becomes grayed out - Fixed SFX inconsistencies - Fixed Control inconsistencies between when drag lock is enabled/disabled - Fixed Bug in which the Credits Panel would break on certain resolutions - Fixed Bug in which the Music Volume slider would break after minimizing the game - Fixed Bug in which the Music Volume slider would break when set to 0 - Fixed Bug in which the Music would restart when game was minimized - Fixed Bug in which the Puzzle Select screen would progress through 2 Puzzles instead of 1 - Fixed Bug in which the Drag-Lock feature caused the incorrect colors to appear on a layer We hope you all enjoy the new updates to Depixtion: Halloween! Happy Griddling!

You may have! Picross has been around for quite some time. You may also know them as Nonograms, Hanjie, Pic-a-Pix, Paint by Numbers, or Griddlers. However, we have a secret twist to our puzzles! Unlike traditional games which limit your puzzle to one grid, our puzzles consist of 3 layers. As a portion of each layer is colored in, the final image will begin to form based on how all 3 layers blend together. Ensure each layer is correct, and you'll reveal the final image and solve the puzzle!
