Quick bug fix as of today, 10/7, which adds more save pages (up to 5 now), as well as fixes the bug players had with saves/loads not working past the first page. Certain achievements should also be fixed now.

Reine Works has sent over a new build to us, which has the following fixes based on player feedback;
- Name switch in some parts of Mayu's route fixed
- Gallery achievement should be fixed
- Auto-forward placed on what was previously the skip button - (one can still skip by holding CTRL)

They talked with us about an upcoming roadmap of features they're interested in implementing in game. Please note that we do not have a time frame in mind for most of these yet, as some things will depend on cumulative sales;

- toggle for R18 content when patch is installed + animation toggle
- Underwear toggle (forces underwear on each sprite)
- English VA
- Japanese VA
- Russian TL
- Digital dakimakura DLC
- additional CG animations, especially for adult CGs in the patch

On another note, it seems that Steam may have had errors sending out the wishlist notifications to those who had wishlisted the game. We were informed by some fans that they did not receive wishlist notification emails. As such, our visibility has been hurt a bit - if you're enjoying the game and feel kind, leaving reviews really helps out both us and the development team, especially as Steam continues to change their algorithms for visibility, compounded with unfortunate happenings such as this.

We're very happy to say that Our Lovely Escape has now been officially released. It's been a long journey, but thank you to everyone who stuck with us and has expressed interest in the game. We've updated the store page with new screenshots from the finalized build of the game too, since the page hasn't been updated since it's inception. The 10% discount will last a week from launch.

There is also a free 18+ patch to restore 18+ content to the game. It features 6 CGs, and various scenes. Installing the patch will auto-install the content; there is no need to do anything else after the patch is installed.
For those who need to install it manually (for whatever reason), it is as simple as dropping the patch.rpa" in the /game/ folder inside the game's directory.

There is also an artbook/guide DLC, which is $4.99. It features a bunch of pages with hi-res art, including concept art and promo sketches not seen in game! It also has a guide to every choice/route in game in it.

We're just dropping in for a quick update to let everyone that we've talked to the Reine Works team, and they've confirmed that there will be a release on this coming Monday, September 30th. The game will launch at $9.99 with a 10% discount, and with a FREE uncensor patch DLC. There will also be an artbook/guidebook DLC priced at $4.99 with launch.

Hello everyone!

Thank you all for your patience so far in awaiting the game's release. We're happy to say that the game - and the mature patch - have both passed Steam's approval recently. The game will be releasing alongside a FREE patch, and an almost 50 page artbook which contains lots of art from the game, concept art, and even a guide to all the routes and choices throughout the game.

We talked to the development team and they're just putting some final touches on the game, with one last run of QA. Since we won't need re-approval from Steam, after this is done, we'll be finalized and ready for release! We're still gunning on releasing this month, so the release will be sooner than you think...

We have very good news for all the fans waiting for the game! Both the base game and (free) 18+ DLC will be releasing very soon, as they've both been approved by Valve for release. The 18+ DLC will be free as mentioned, and the base game will be $9.99. We will also be launching an additional artbook DLC at launch.

So why haven't we released yet if we're already approved? Well, there's not much holding us back from release. We're just finishing up a few things, such as the artbook, and making sure the game is polished prior to release, such as the gallery working with the animated CGs in the 18+ DLC. As such we will have a release date very soon - we're estimated within the next 2 weeks or so, prior to just about the end of the month. We'll make announcements here for the release date at least a week in advance, and then a day in advance to the date as a reminder. Also, as a separate reminder, the game will be releasing in both English & Simplified Chinese! Thank you to our friends at Quality Arts Games for helping with the Chinese translation.

We apologize for scarce communication regarding the game's progress. Development has been hectic for the developers, as illness and other factors have played detrimental rolls to an otherwise timely schedule. This has resulted in a significant silence on both of our parts.

However, we are happy to see we've gotten back in more consistent touch with the developer as of recently, and after talking with them, we are both confident in a final release date of next month, September 2019.
