Aegis Online is released and available on Steam!
Thank you all for coming on this journey. We still have a lot of work we want to do for Aegis, but now it is out there. Everyone has a free 3d virtual tabletop. No one needs to miss game night again!

A short roadmap of what will be coming in the next few weeks:

Steam matchmaking/friends support. This was implemented, but ran into stability issues, so it was disabled. We are working to get this functionality back into a good state.
Campaign Management. It will be enhanced and more integrated with steam matchmaking and...
Steam Workshop/Modability tools. Steam has a lot of tools to help people create and share content. And Aegis is highly moddable. We are working on getting these two aspects to play together nicely, so that adding cool items and such to your campaigns will be as easy as possible.

Beta 3.2 Released

Beta 3.2 is the first on the path to an 'early access' release being worked towards to help people during the quarantine.

The key features of this update are:

Automatic Log Reporting- After being on for one minute, the game will send data to the developers that will include bugs and other development information.

Lobby Size Increase- The maximum number of players was increased to 32. Primarily for stress testing.

Other Minor Changes include:

Selection outlines. In MT_MiniPaint items that you hover over are outlined in black, and when selected, outlined in your player wisp color. This feature will be expanded for other tools, and be scriptable with Playmode scripts for user customization.
Player wisp cursors are now smaller and more responsive.
Right clicking and dragging with the mouse will pan the camera. This will be rebindable in the future.
Minor tweaks to shaders. This may break backwards compatibility.
Game close confirmation dialog.
