Fixed cloud save issues on Mac
Migrating save files (copying not deleting so old one is still there) from old versions to new save location to be consistent with all my games.

If you click the panel it will open to the games page and then won't suggest that game again on this installation. I have a new game coming soon; (Poosh XL - Wishlist here) so I wanted to do some updates to my other games and fix issues and make some improvements -Updated to a newer Unity Engine version -Resolved reported bugs -Implemented a new internal leaderboards menu that shows you and the 9 nearest scores without leaving the in-game window. -Added the ability to rebind controls in Classic Controls mode. To access, first enable Classic Controls in the Options, then click the custom button to set controls for both 1P and 2P. (likely janky as heck due to my lack of knowledge but it's going to be better than nothing, I hope it works for you all) -Added the OLED Mode toggle that turns the background completely black -Updated the Adamvision Studios logo to the newer version -Updated the Twitter account the @theadamvision -Added ability to hold 'Start' or 'Space' for 15 seconds in the Main menu to be able to unlock all ships for free -Fixed bug where sometimes the Boss could be sucked into a tiny blackhole -Adjusted menu sensitivity to hopefully remove the scrolling automatically problem a few folks were having Thanks for all the support over the years! Super Bit Blaster XL is now Available!

V2 UPDATE

I am rolling out a V2 update that includes a fix for the highscore not properly populating, some leaderboard fixes, and a new button that allows the player to swap to the classic bit blaster xl controls. During the tutorial / controls screen the player can press 'c' or the right trigger on controller 1 to toggle between the two schemes and see what they like best. I hope to also find a solution to allow for full key re-binding in the future. Thanks for all the support! Make sure to leave a review on the game if you're enjoying it, it really helps a lot. -Adam

Patch Notes: (additional leader boards + online for switch)

New Infinite play mode added
New Unlock-able Space Rocks skin
Bonus Points power-up is now worth 5 Points
Added Bit Blaster, Orbt, and Diamo songs for each of the special characters
When you're stationary with a time slow power-up, the growth of the ball will stop completely
Early button presses after death will not be erroneously detected
Power-up timers correctly reset when dying and restarting they now also disappear upon death
Pink enemy now correctly has it's trail fade in/out with the rest of the enemy
Modified and added some little secrets here and there
Re-balanced some late game elements to ensure there are always viable paths to take and made 250+ not dependent on power-ups
Player can now remain idle slightly longer before exploding

DEVELOPERS NOTE:

I started creating Bit Blaster XL for Steam on a whim back in late 2015. I never could have guessed its release would change the entire direction of my life. It's success (however minor it may seem to others) has enabled me to spend more time learning about games as well as recently allowed me to make games full time as my profession. My younger self would not believe it. I have been provided with so many amazing opportunities (I couldn't possibly describe them all here) and I couldn't have done the majority of this without the great support of the community that appeared out of nowhere to play my silly little arcade games. I thank you all.

Super Bit Blaster XL is the next evolution of my original Steam game. In the last few years since it's release I have learned a lot more about Unity and C#. Using this I have reworked many aspects of the game. I added a new Co-Op mode, Vs Mode, improved the GFX, new translations, new ships, new powers, and new Easter eggs. I also completely overhauled the control scheme due to feedback; while it's still not a Twin-Stick shooter, overall control is so much more responsive.

My decision to release this as a separate title as opposed to an update on the original is mostly because the changes are all so drastic I wouldn't want to upset the flow of the original Steam game that people seem to love. I also have learned a lot from (fellow) developers about self worth so the price will be higher than a single dollar this time around. i'm sure there will be folks keen to pick apart this decision as greedy or selfish but I imagine the people that really enjoyed the original and want to support creators will understand my choices. If you're still interested please remember it's very important to ADD IT TO YOUR STEAM WISHLIST.

GAMEPLAY:

Your ship can not stop moving; so you must turn and use your boost/brake to keep from crashing into an ever increasing amount of enemies and obstacles
Your ship is always shooting, so make sure to pick up more ammo and the wide variety of awesome power ups, pick ups and boosts to help you survive longer
Get the highest score you can while collecting coins to buy more ships that are faster, shoot faster, or have more shields
