Hope everyone is doing fine those days while staying home. Wish eveyone good health for them and their families. :-) OPTIMIZATION OVERHAUL Took long time to actually dig into this but it's finally ready for you to enjoy much higher and more stable fps while into action. Every game aspect was re-written and edited from the ground, which will give over 30-50% better performance without having much graphical decrease throught gameplay. Gameplay on some levels is still an issue when you play on ULTRA, but now on MEDIUM or HIGH you will get a noticable performance increase. Hope those with a valve index can experiment with those high hz rates. ADDED FEATURE Long waited Smooth Turn Option, is now available! Just enable Smooth Turning through Options/Controls and adjust Smooth Turning Scrollbar. Lowest values will result on faster turnings. TUTORIAL REVAMPED Tutorial stage has been reworked so players get familiar with game mechanics and shooting easier. Also now support machine translation on UIs. FIXES Some minor glitches on some maps and Ai improvements plus a fix on Weapon Skins not registering correctly. Hope you enjoy while staying home :-)

Long promised update is available! Enjoy! NEW HORDE MAP : MINIONS MASSACRE A new Huge Indoor level for endless killing of mass groups of Zombies. Boost items excluded for added difficulty. NEW HORDE MAP : HELL AWAITS Small defence map. 2 Gate Turrets are here to help you. New Item " Turret Upgrade" ( UP Arrow) for upgrading Turret damage deal. Beware turrets run out of ammunition, be sure to reload them ;-) NEW ENEMIES : ZOMBIES All new 9 variations of zombies/animations waiting to be slaughtered in Minions Massacre! NEW TRAINING/TUTORIAL MAP Get started with the basics of Rest In Pieces (English only at the momment) GAMEPLAY CHANGES - Enemies that land a successful attack, will chase you faster - GRIP can be switched to HOLD/TOGGLE (mostly for VIVE or WMR users) - Main UI is optimized and scaled to be readable - Back and Strafe movement speed raised - SEATED play now works as intedeed - VR Hands better aligned to controllers - Grabing weapons from upperhead slots now is fixed - Added Smooth Turning - Option to remove black fade when snaping HEAVY OPTIMIZATIONS Finally made optimizations on all aspects of RIP. You may see raised FPS from 30%-60%! Textures also were reduced so you might get less vram required to render more crisp textures in game. OTHER FIXES AND CHANGES - Improved Player Height setting - Fixed Re-sloted weapons would have flashlight/laser on - Removed Rain FX - Added Teleporting SFX - Fixed a Bug where VR hand would run in slow speeds - WMR reload buttons remapped - When you make option changes the APPLY button will flash to save - Added HTC COSMOS controller mapping - Dead Awaken map was re-polished - Main menu Music has boosted Bass and Slower Tempo - AI freezing was improved - Achievement Text were corrected - Added StormingTech logo on initialization That's all! Hello everyone! as promised today ALL HEADSETS update 1.05 is live!!! Please Note : some inputs might not work exactly as expected, please report for any issues on the forums of Rest In Pieces, i will perform daily updates until every issue is fixed ;-) New Update Support only Steam VR ( Oculus SDK was removed ) SUPPORTED HEADSETS : - RIFT / S - VALVE'S INDEX - VIVE / PRO / COSMOS - ALL WMR NEW STEAM VR INPUT KEY BINDING is supported, so you can re-map actions, althought i believe most motion controller should be ok with the defaults. ALSO FIXED : - When using Scoped Weapon FPS would drop Hopefully eveything runs as it should ;-)

Post-Launch HotFIX! - Menu Laser Passthrough issue REMOVED UNTIL FIXED - Double Handed Weapon Handling - Weapon Weight Control Please note due to a serious discovered issue, i had to remove this feature for now. It will be added as soon as i get a stable fix on it ;-) Cheers mates! Hope you enjoy!

BACKGROUND STORY
Life as we know doens’t exist, hordes of undead and demons have emerged and now rule the earth. The human race was forced to live in underground shelters in order to survive. To take what used to be theirs, humanity gathered forces and established small specialised teams to eliminate the threat. This action was called Project Rest in Pieces, aka R.I.P .
Killing the undying would not be enough, instead humanity developed an extremely advanced AI technology to manipulate specialized forces, now called “Agents”, in order to command from headquarters.
Using this advanced technology, AI called by project’s name “R.I.P.”, managed to capture the leftover souls of the undead to perform improvements on Agents gear, weaponry, but also on their strength and abilities.
Now it’s up to you, to save what remains...
