Hot off our launch on Thursday August 6th we are super excited to announce that Drink More Glurp will also be a part of The Yogscast Tiny Teams Festival, celebrating games developed by core teams of 1-3 people! It is going to be an amazing week, we are super honoured to be sharing space with some truly amazing indie teams! There will be special offers and live streams all week. One of the hardest parts of game dev, especially for tiny teams like us, is visibility and getting your game in front of people that might like it. We hope the festival will give people a chance to check out some awesome games that they may not normally have found otherwise! Drink More Glurp is a wacky physics, sports(ish), hot seat, party game. Aliens have copied our 'Earth' games and have got it all slightly wrong. Sponsors will randomly take control of events and twist them to fit their agenda creating havoc for the athletes.
With an almost endless number of event and sponsor combinations Glurp has masses of replayability. Just when you think you are getting the hang of an event, you get laser hands!
Each arm of the athlete is controlled independently with the controller's analogue sticks. You can grab with each arm... and that is it. Super simple, but hard to master!
Glurp supports up to 20 players and makes for a great spectator game – expect lots of shouting and cheering! Designed to keep the action going with drop in and drop out and defer turn features. One controller is all you need.
