Real Places of The End of The Sun - "The Witch" Rock - #1
We are planning to release the second set of your reviews soon, we also have ideas for further entries about the game. (Such as highlighting fragments of the best let's plays, summarizing reviews, or competitions related to the best screenshots and much more!) Soon in the discussion section (to which we invite you.) We will also open a thread in which we will inform you about what we are planning to add in the game updates, we will decide on the priority of changes based on your opinions, but more on that in the next update!
With this news, however, we would like to open a new series of entries about places and objects that you can see in The End of the Sun and which also exist in the real world! We have been creating the game in 2 person team for 8 years. We visited many interesting places, monuments and museums. In each of the entries, we would like to write a bit about one such place. Today, in a few sentences, we would like to mention the most characteristic rock in the whole game. We are talking about a rock called "The Witch" which is located in the "Stone City" Nature Reserve in Cikowice. In Game View:

This rock is an amazing formation, deceptively resembling a witch with a very long nose. There is a legend around the rock about an evil witch who was turned into a rock for her evil deeds. "Czarownica" means "The Witch" in polish.
In The End of the Sun, you can see "The Witch" exactly like it is in the real world as we scanned it using photogrammetry. What's more, there is an easter egg and a Steam achievement associated with it that you can unlock. Now you know where we got the inspiration for them! If you have questions about some achievements, in the discussion section many of you help each other and give tips in this matter, which is amazing! :)
Near "The Witch" in the reserve flows a river, which we also included in the game. You can see all these beautiful views in the game! We hope that now you know a little more about one of the many places in our game and that one day you will be able to see them in the real world! In Game View:

Hello! It's been less than 2 weeks since the release of The End of the Sun. The game is receiving more and more great reviews from you, which motivates us incredibly to continue our work! The incredibly good news is that the number of all reviews on Steam has exceeded 100 and the number of reviews in the overall summary on the main page is 65 (100% positive reviews), which changed the summary from "Positive" to "Very Positive". The End of the Sun is a first-person exploration and adventure game, where the story has the most important meaning, as it is set in the world of Slavic rites, beliefs, legends, and their everyday life. It is a series of mysterious events that ordinary people dealt with, as they were living in a small village where the line between myth and reality began to fade perilously.

As the Volhv who is gifted with the ability to travel in time and knowledge about Navia (the space where human fates shape), you come to a mysterious village to find your friend, but you cannot find anyone there, at least not in a way you wanted to. All you can see are smothered fires around.

A story inspired by Slavic mythology and legends. It presents the events occurring during the 4 major Slavic festivals during the 4 seasons far away from each other in time. Recreates mystical events, culture and people’s habits in an unusual way. The game is inspired by both adventure and exploration games with unorthodox riddles to solve, but the story-line is in the first place here.
