For honoring our latest game Mokoko X's release week, we are discounting all NAISU games greatly! You can find even further discounts if you check our bundles.
Mokoko X is certainly our biggest game so far. We hope you like it!

Hello, As you know we were planning to give discounts for Mokoko X to the original Mokoko owners. I talked with Steam about this but they didn't allow it. These two were the alternative solutions we talked with Steam: 1) Direct approach: Giving discount coupons to the original Mokoko owners. So, they can use their coupons to buy Mokoko X in a discounted way. Steam said they wouldn't distribute coupons. They can do this easily, I remember a few games done that years ago, I think Steam no longer accepts this as a general policy. 2) Indirect approach: Bundling Mokoko with Mokoko X with the bundle type "complete the set". So, the Mokoko owners could have purchase Mokoko X with a discounted price for completing the set. But this is also not possible. Steam told us that retired games cannot participate in such bundles. I thought of 2 other alternatives: The first alternative is asking users to send me a screenshot that proves they had the original Mokoko and I will give them a private link to purchase from itch.io or some other platform. But this is also not possible because: 1) If I point you to another store, I would be violating the agreement I made with Steam. 2) It would be very hard for me to manage if I received 1000 mails with screenshots (I am a solo dev although I get help for graphics etc. I have no full time employees). It would be weeks of continuous work. 3) There would be many fraud requests (photoshopped screenshots, using the same screenshots etc. that I wouldn't remember who was who). And the second alternative would be similar to the first alternative, but this time making a website just for this. 2 and 3 would be eliminated since the website would ask you to connect your Steam account and check if you own Mokoko. But in the end I would still have to distribute discounted keys from itch.io or something and it would again violate my agreement with Steam for pointing you out to other platform from Steam. Besides I know nothing about backend coding and website design. Even our website is made in notepad just by using HTML. *********** I wanted to be clear with you about this. I am sorry, things didn't go the way I planned. I've really tried for this discount. I cannot think of any other alternative. I don't like to offer the game from the full price to the old users but that's how it is going to be. All the money we've earned from Mokoko and more from our other games spent for Mokoko X. In some rough estimation, I can say we have spent and will spend around 15 times more money and definitely more time to this remake compared to Mokoko. Don't just think about the product, you should also consider other things such as marketing, console porting (Switch & Xbox One), etc. expanses/efforts. As for the product, bigger portion of our budget has been spent to the product. I think we've made a good and complete/polished game. I hope and believe people who hasn't played Mokoko, will like Mokoko X more than they would like Mokoko. That being said I want to write the differences/new features you will find in Mokoko X. Straight details without any marketing texts. Consider these before you buy the new game. You can easily compare Mokoko and Mokoko X store pages to see the main differences. Even better if you play Mokoko X demo, it summarizes the new features pretty well. So, in general:
- All the girls were static images. Now they have different animation videos in each level, victory and for their portrait expressions. We added 115 videos in total.
- Japanese voice overs added for all the girls/bosses as an alternative to English.
- We've remade every enemy from the scratch. In Mokoko, most of them were static, now they all have animations. The most of them are rebalanced, some has totally new features and has no relation with their old versions.
- Mokoko main story is now fully animated and dubbed, it used to be just texts.
- 24 levels to 32 levels. The most of the levels revised a bit or a lot. There are now final stages for each girl where the map is bigger and you fight against all the 3 bosses and their minions.
- Stories and dialogues are the same, but it bothered me a lot in Mokoko that all the stories were squeezed inside a small window. They are now much better presented. Mokoko X has a new flow for that.
- The soundtrack DLC is almost the same with old Mokoko's soundtrack DLC. I don't recommend you to buy it.
- Adult patch will be again free.

As we announced before, time for Mokoko's retirement from Steam has come. Players who have purchased the game will still own it in their libraries and play the game. Community, leaderboards, trade cards and achievements won't be removed. But there is no reason to be sad about this. If you like this kind of games, you will find our new game Mokoko X far better than Mokoko! Edit: Due to the request from the community, we are organizing a final sale for Mokoko. For honoring the game, all NAISU games will be discounted for 50% from December 7th 10AM to December 13th 10AM (Pacific Time Zone).

Hello,
Previously we shared about the first image of Ayane and announced the characters are getting renewed. Also we told you about animations are on the way to be shared with you soon.
So, here we are very happy to show you our animations that are going to be added to the game. There will be 4 animations for each of the 8 girls, which is 32 new animations in total. 3 of those 4 animations will be level specific, and 1 is for the victory. In the victory animations you will be able to see the girls stripped (if you download the adult patch of course) as before.
Two animations made until now:
Please let us know what you are thinking!

Hello again!
We want to show you our new Ayane. The animation is still not ready, but imagine that she will be running. This will be the animation for the level-1 of the first chapter. She will have 4 different animations. This is a frame from the new Ayane level-1 animation. We really would love to hear your opinions. It could be little deceiving without the playing animation but what do you think? Do you prefer the old Ayane or the new one with the animations? If you have feedback to give, we would love to hear. All the girls will be renewed!
For comparison I attach both of them:
OLD (static image):
NEW (will be animated):
Coming next, the animated version of the new Ayane!

Hello!
We have started working on the big I update I mentioned recently. Here is the new background for our first girl Ayane. We will use different parts of this background for telling the events of Ayane against her afflicters.
Next update will be about Ayane's new design, and perhaps also animations!

New Content
We still want to improve Mokoko. While we are preparing for Mokoko's console releases, we are planning a huge content update. This huge content is more about girls of Mokoko. We've tried to solve every other problem you told us, but improving the girls was the hardest one. So, for reaching the satisfying quality with the girls, we are adding FULL ANIMATIONS for each girl for each level! That will take a lot of time, but we hope the result will be awesome! All the girls in the game will be redrawn as well.
About Trading Cards
We also started getting trading cards requests. But Steam still hasn't allowed us to release trading cards. To speed up the progress, please write reviews for Mokoko and tag the game from the + button in the store page. We need around 100-120 reviews for the cards. In your reviews, please also write your requests. Before we release the patch, we can add those too!

Dear All, - Menu button navigation is now fully supported. You don't need to touch your mouse in the game any more. You can control menus with your keyboard or gamepad. This changed how some buttons are appearing as well. Why did we made it? We made it because we are preparing Mokoko for consoles o.O. Just before starting the porting, we wanted to make this update available for PC players as well (I remember few of the reviews requested this feature). - You can still use your gamepad analog to draw diagonal lines. We don't want to prevent it. - There were some quality issues with the Turkish translation. We have made it better now. - A shortcut for the in-game mutte button also added: M for keyboard, Left Shoulder for gamepad. Cheers, NAISU

The champion of Mokoko, DrakonAskar, the winnter of the first week Arcade Mode score contest, has been drawn by our artist and added to the credits! We congratulate him once more! He will stay in Mokoko's credits screen permanently.

We realized from the reviews that the voice acting can annoy some of the people sometimes. So, we added a mute button to the right top corner of the boss panel:
We hope you like this update!

We are going to add your anime styled photo into the game! This is a special contest for the release week. The player who is going to be ranked 1st in Arcade Mode leaderboard, we will draw his/her anime style portrait. Once the contest is over, we will announce the winners. We will contact with you and ask a photo from you. Then our artist will draw your anime style portrait. If you allow us, we will honor you by inserting you in the game's credits as "the Champion(s) of Mokoko" with your anime character and name permanently! For every 500 people we see in the Arcade Mode leaderboard, we will draw one more player in anime style. For example, if there are 10000 people scored in Arcade Mode leaderboard at the end of the event, we will draw top 20 players' photo in anime style, and add all of them into the game. The event is going to start with the release in February 17th, and end in February 24th 11 AM Pacific Time Zone. Please share the word and let people know about this contest! Cheers! NAISU

Here are some big news: Arcade Mode: Once you complete the story mode, Arcade Mode will be unlocked. You will be able to finish the game with limited lives. You will be given +1 life each level you pass. And there will be a special online high scores list for that. So, you can compete with other players. You can also set the difficulty higher for higher scores. In this mode you will be able to achieve mega scores, because your score will be calculated additive. Voice Overs: All the characters in the game are getting voices! Our initial plan was to give them expression voices. But our tests showed us that the full voice overs feel much better! High Scores: As mentioned in Arcade Mode, there are now high score lists for each level. You will see the top 200 ranking players live (including yourself). If you aim for the top scores, you will need to play on harder difficulty. We hope that the players who aim for the top will experience the high risk & reward mechanism of the level designs better this way. Better Tutorial and Level Designs: We detailed all the levels and the tutorial, and balanced the level difficulties. Small Visual Improvements: We added some new effects that please the eye better. New Big Reading Panel for Stories: We realized the reading stories could be problematic with our current interface. Therefore, we added a small button in the story panel. So, you can read the stories in a bigger, more comfortable panel. Language Supports: The release version will have the support of the following languages: English, German, French, Polish, Portuguese, Spanish, Turkish, Russian, Japanese, Korean, Simplified and Traditional Chinese. As the release is closing by, our excitement is increasing as well. We hope that you like all these new features. Please feel free to write your ideas and keep us giving feedback for a better game!

Some improvements to the demo:
- Tooltips added for the difficulty buttons. Now you can see the differences between the difficulties
- Tutorial: The first level now has a tutorial which you can learn the basics of the game
- Difficulty: Enemy movement speeds are reduced, especially for the easy and normal difficulties. Also small level design changes to reduce the difficulty further.
