We have just finished working on a bunch of things that should've done before. The point scoring system on the trials has been updated. Now, If you fail the trial, you will get the conviction points after replaying it. The system should work without any bugs now. Now you can pause the trial by opening the game menu. Yes, we should've implemented it before. Our apologies. Now you can pause the game at any point during the trial. The tension is less buggy and more manageable. This feature wasn't as fun as we expected. The tension will never go up by 10 points anymore. There will be no more accident trial failures due to the stacking of unmanageable amounts of tension. The dog sounds don't overlap anymore. Initially, Tobius was just something one of our amazing kickstarter backers asked us to add to the game. To our surprise, many people liked petting our cute doggy from time to time and weren't happy with the sounds overlapping. If you didn't play the game for the while, the other sounds and the music has been improved too. We are aware of the issues with the texts. Currently, we're looking for volunteers to help with our grammar. We would appreciate your help! Please, sign up using the contacts below! Contact us: e-mail: femidathegame@gmail.com discord: https://discord.gg/V5c7ckf You can also help by reporting bugs. Happy Easter! We wish you and your loved ones strong health!

A couple of people had problems with saving. We described the bug in detail in the previous announcement. We added a backup saving system which will allow us to also support Steam Cloud. The issue with conviction points after failing a trial no longer exists in the current version. There is no penalty for failing a trial anymore. Please report bugs to: femidathegame@gmail.com alternatively to our discord: https://discord.gg/V5c7ckf Thanks for your trust and patience!

No more broken English. One amazing proofreader fixed our grammar and spelling. We have also patched all the known bugs. Although only one person encountered the problems with saving, we're determined to update the saving system to avoid any similar bugs in the future. Here is how can you check whenever you have this bug or not: 1) Start the game and play for some time. 2) Save the game. 3) Exit the main menu and load the save. If you see a black screen it means the save data hasn't been recorded. If the game loads - you're good to go. Solution: turn off your antivirus, Windows Defender or any other similar anti-malware software. We store the saves in your registry (We know. Our bad.), some software may prevent the game from writing to your registry. The saving system update is up next. No one will lose their current saves. The new system will be built on top of the existing and serve as a backup. This will also enable you to use Steam Cloud Saving service. There are plans for adding steam achievements for every ending you can get in the game, but Femida needs to at least break even to enable us to work on it more. Please contact us if you can help. In regards to the localization: our great community wants to play Femida in Russian and Mandarin. We will work once the game gets enough wishlist addition from Russia and China. Please, contact us if you think the game will do well in your language too or if you want to volunteer. We apologize for the bad experience! We messed up the launch. Thanks for your trust! There are issues with saving on some machines. Antiviruses, windows defender and other anti-malware/spyware software prevent the save data from being recorded. We will change our saving system in the future to avoid this bug. Right now, it is a little bit dangerous as we can wipe out the saves of the majority of people for whom the current saving system is working fine in the process of updating it. We've hired an editor to fix the problems with our grammar. Sorry about that! Turns our English isn't as good as we thought. Just to clarify: we're a small studio with no one working full time on the game. It's not an excuse. We're determined to fix all the issues soon.

- Linux Femida Depot [4.06 G]
The videogame is set in a dystopic world of the State. The State has recently undergone a violent revolution and rapidly restructures. In a year, it transitioned from a totalitarian regime and now struggles to establish a republic. Provisional Government lustrated most of the public servants so capital needs fresh blood. You win the Labor Lottery to work at Metropolis(pretend you read these names for the first time), capital of the State. The hero, Daemon Mardoch, accepts the summon leaving countryside life with his wife and kids back in the Town. The transfer to Metropolis promises a fulfilling job, good money, and many opportunities. You were born there, your mother still resides in the capital and works for the government. But it's not the only reason you accepted the offer. Your father disappeared during the revolution and his fate is still unknown to this day.
Judge & Detective
The game has 2 layers: your job as a judge and your personal investigation into what happened to your father.Judge's duty
The first layer is your job. This is NOT an accurate simulation of what a judge's job is. It is a fictionalized distillation of it. We didn't aim for realism, we want you to have fun doing it.
Hero's duty
The latter layer is about your investigation into the fate of your father. This part will look like a quest or... you can call it a visual novel. Not a weird one, we promise...or maybe not.
Features
- The story is tailored by your choices. Well, not really but there are multiple endings
- Seven crime cases to be judged. All the sines you like
- Read the reactions to your sentences and learn what's happening in 3 newspapers, each with different points of view. The most trusted news sources in the State
- Find you father. We knew you liked a thousand plots about it before
- Keep in touch in your family by letters. At least here she will text you first
- You can call people using an oddly satisfying rotary dialer. Pranks, hoaxes and threats
- Beautiful illustrations. 2 frames or no animation whatsoever
- Dating sim. Cheat on your in-game waifu
- Try human flesh. Or the flesh will...try you?
- Old fashioned Quest/text adventure. It's actually a visual novel
- Politically incorrect and dark humor. Bad humor. The jokes are like... really bad
Note:
The universe of Femida is generalized and draws inspiration from different cultures and historical events. We don't make allusions to any particular real-life political parties or figures, neither do we promote any political message. The game illustrates corruption, confirmation bias, prejudice, the presumption of guilt.- OS: Ubuntu 16.04
